I hope you don't have to stop because of crashes, this has become my favorite series. I'm almost 40 years old and I start every morning watching a guy play with dinosaurs in a video game 😂
For anyone who needs it: Anything that eats fish in this mod can be force feed normal meat (press e when meat is in their inventory) but they will only auto eat fish meat from their inventory or a feeding through.
Maybe the crashes are related to a memory leak due to the bleed status, that would be why using the glass arrows didn't make it crash immediately, also from what you said about the carno it didn't seem to crash it immediately either. If that's the cases I would avoid taming or even going near the allos
I’ve been crashing too, not running the hunted mod but the crashes have started recently. Maybe it’s s+? Cuz I have been running that, or maybe the game is fucked now

@@billyyyx When I used G Portal for the mods, it was crashing so many times. I switched to Nitrado as my server host and haven't had a single issue crashing.

27:45 the coconuts can be substituted for citrinol, I image the pumpkins have a similar substitution function but I've yet to use them, just read the description it should say so
As a note to those with S+ active with this mod the mod adds cheaper kibble recipes in the normal cooking pot, also megaloceros, and gigantopithecus are the way to go for early pelt.
I love this series!!! If you wanna get the morellatops inside your base without taking the gate up just make some ramps on the outside of your walls and try to walk it up.
The farming scene in ARK is one i have long wanted to be expanded, as well as food recipes. With so many survivors from all backgrounds being created you'd think more than just Rockwell would be making food. Also Trees!
The pumpigourd is required to make superior kibble I think. you should make a cooking pot and see. The medical brews actually heal you pretty good, although eating 50 raw prime fish stacks a healing buff that runs for a long time. Haven't tried the pumpkin on dinos yet, it says it heals them too. Also the Pteranodon only eats fish on its own, although you can force feed regular meat to it.
Hey Syn, I'm playing in a hunted mod currently, and I don't have any crashes - I don't think it's a core issue with the mod itself. I wouldn't give up on the mod (selfishly, it's my favorite). I know it's kinda taboo, but in the event of a crash I think it'd be absolutely fair to spawn in/age up your creatures. Also terrorbird eggs are pink! They stand out super well.
I seen on the pumpkins and cocudrupes that the replace the carrots and citronella respectively in recipes. I'd assume that means in kibble as well. Like so syntac can see
dear syntac i noticed the decomposing timer on corpses is about 3 hours with all of the aggresive herbivores there are corpses all over the map and thats probably whats crashing you
Make a sniper tower or just a tower in general to shoot from, so when this happens again just shoot them from the tower and you can get a velonosuar and put it on the tower or get a few velons on separate towers to shoot from different angles
Lol that was frustrating, when he was watching the allos and pachy's fight I kept thinking he really really needs to kill those sabertooths before they steal the allo bodies and the sabers would have been so damn easy to kill! It's almost always a good idea to kill predators first before doing anything in an area, especially if you're looking to kill a specific dino!

Syntac I dug through the mod files and I found that there is an asset of grass with an invalid name that is causing crashing on Ragnarok and will cause the same thing on the center map
Syntac, the crashes might be caused by a particular creature overspawning in the area. It happened on my server a ton when I ran this mod, I'd advise checking around.
Since the mod of the hunted gives ark some extra realism, I'd suggest adding the immersive taming mod, which works with baits, then you would be able to tame wild animals/steal their eggs as you please (since when you steal an egg, not long after, you lose a creature); an idea to keep it balanced: you could only tame with baits a creature you already stole and/or raised an egg from (like with the gallimimus, carno, pelagornis, etc)
I think the crashes are caused by bleeding of any kind cuz you said that it crashes when the carno does the bleed attack and when it crashed on the video you were using the glass arrows
You can make Bait in a arrow so you can tame the creature without getting their egg if you shoot the arrow near them they eat is after two or three baits later they won't attack you you can hand feed them and if it is a carnivore you need to fight them to prove your worth of taming them if you want to know more schwable that youtuber did a hunted series recently watch his vid and the series is ended a week ago so go watch his vid so you know more about hunted mod he completed it

You can force feed meat to dinos that want fish and it will raise their food but they wont eat it on their own.

My brother's pteranodon got like 2% effectiveness after a raptor tried to eat it and now the pteranodon is called "Ptrashodon".

You could make just two large storage boxes far away from the crafting place in the base to store all the hide and fiber types.
The Ankylosaurs is very useful for killing creatures because its right click attack is so fast and allows you to move while using it.
