- This week I went up the coast to Dana Point for some kayak fishing. I'll discuss different launch spots, the current, the water temperature (crazy!) and why I used the rod I did for the day. Ask your questions in the comments and I'll answer them!

Bought my PA14 ... still waiting on the drive but man ... this is exactly why I bought it. I am in Oceanside and like you said 30 min north or south there is so much good fishing to be had.
