respectfully disagree. blind tasting is not for everyday wine drinkers. what’s the point of trying to guess a grape variety they don’t even know it exists?
@@marcotrucco177because blind tasting isn't about guessing a grape variety. It's about tasting without preconception. The grape variety guessing is admittedly a gimmick.
Wine world being the wine world confusing - Bonarda is a red grape variety grown in piedmont italy. Argentinean Bonarda is NOT the same graoe as italian Bonarda it is the french grape known as Douce noir from Savoy. Also North American Charbono is also Douce noir The wine world sucks.
Ummm the map you showed was just North America, South America starts after Panama…. Unless the map was just meant as a joke? Anyway love the the blind tasting, please keep them coming.
It's so refreshing to watch tastings from every day wine drinkers not just master sommeliers.
You're most welcome! Thanks so much for noticing! That's why we do it!

Wearing a Patagonia tee-shirt the entire time and missing the continent. Irony!
hah!
Honestly - this is SUCH a good observation haha!
Where’s the Tannat? The world needs a France vs Uruguay Tannat off with Gemma.
YASSSS
YES! Missing Tannat!!!!
Poor Gemma, confused by the continents. Hopefully finishing off the 6 bottles didn't give her incontinence. 😀
LOL! They're the same thing right?!
#4, Isn’t Bonarda a grape in Argentina too?

@ yeah…one of the reasons I love wine…. I’ve Argentinian and Italian bonarda in the cellar. Very different wines. Cheers.
WOW - What an epic knowledge bomb right there!
Hmm interesting - we thought so!
Apparently - entirely different varieties!
Looks like you guys had to balance out the budget for this once since you spent so much on the last ones 😂
We certainly have to sometimes haha
Theme park?? Gorilla punch?!? Confused American here - can anyone explain please? Does everyone get punched?? My partner and I really want to know!!
I think it has something to do with Gemma suggesting that she'd rather be punched by a Gorilla than drink a specific wine...
GOD she is funny.
Haha unhinged!
