One of the saddest discontinuations since Prada L'homme Intense. Fortunately, found a seller on Offerup yesterday selling a Dark Rebel 4.2 tester for $35. Got my backup bottle set. Beautiful fragrance. My go to leather jacket fragrance.
YES. This is an elite designer frag, dark, rich, complex, and great smelling. IMO it is extremely close to the original Donna Karan DK Men, from the 1990s. (Might've been called DK Fuel?? Was Karan's flagship fragrance for men in a beautiful, sculptural bottle. Discontinued long ago and pricey when found.)
It’s a sad day for a truly great fragrance. I got a bottle for Xmas, but I just ordered another bottle as a backup. I should be good for a while now. Thanks for the great vid. It is much appreciated as I love most JV scents 👍🏻👍🏻
It's amazing what scents can conjure. Dior Fahreheit smells like the shed you keep your lawn mower, Dark Rebel smells like an oily, dirty mechanics shop...in a good way.
Or like you've been working on your motorcycle all day. I'm really trying to warm up to this scent but I'm having a little difficulty. Still holding on to the bottle.

I knew about this discontinuation since the summer. I bought a few backups for $30. I do like the scent, but the performance is pitiful. 6 hours? I get 3 hours on skin. What a shame. This has always been a rack store find, hopefully for another few years.
A picked up a couple gift sets a few years ago at Marshall's - shoulda picked up the others, but unfortunately didn't know they were discontinuing this. Love this fragrance - one of my favourites, of ANY fragrance! This cologne introduced to the brand itself, and since then I've gone on to buy a number of clothing items.
It sucks they’re getting rid of it. Dark Rebel is just a different(in a good way) smelling scent. I still have my fist bottle from when everything shutdown but I wouldn’t mind getting another bottle. This is your motorcycle jacket, all black outfit or badass fragrance to wear when you feel like it.

Hey please keep educating us don't stop because the price went up that doesn't make sense it sounds like you're working for the fragrance company. The new people coming into the fragrance community you can't just stop teaching people because the price went up that is completely convoluted reason why you don't feature a fragrance anymore. it sounds like you're working for the fragrance company because once they're out and discontinued there's no reason for you to advertise it anymore are you getting a commission from them?
I picked this up for like 25 bucks before COVID at TJ Max. Now I'm glad I did.

My husband and I loved Dark Rebel. The Dark Rebel Rider is similar but not quite as nice.
