  • Best Teatime Cake | Sponge Cake | Vanilla Cake:
    Ingredients:
    • Egg (Anda) - 2 Pcs
    • Vanilla Essence - 1 Teaspoon
    • White Vinegar - 1 tbsp
    • Cooking Oil (Tel) - 1/4 Cup
    • Milk (Doodh) - ½ Cup
    • Sugar (Cheeni/Shakkar) - 1 Cup
    • Maida (All Purpose Flour) - 1 1/3 Cup
    • Pink Salt / Normal Salt - ½ tsp
    • Baking Powder - 1 tsp
    • Baking Soda - 1 tsp
    Procedure:
    o Preheat the oven at 180 deg for 10 mins (Or as per your oven settings)
    o Take a bowl add egg and beat it.
    o Now add vanilla essence, White Vinegar, cooking oil, Milk, Sugar and mix it properly.
    o Now with the help of Sieve (Channi) add maida, salt, baking soda, baking powder as shown in video.
    o Now with the help of hand beater mix it well and make a flowing consistency, as shown in video.
    o Take an oven Mould and grease it with oil/butter/ ghee / and apply a butter paper and again it on the butter with oil/butter/ghee, as shown in video.
    o Now transfer the paste/mixture to this oven mould and spread it evenly.
    o Once the mixture is evenly settled, tap the mould to remove any air bubbles from it.
    o Now keep this mould in preheated oven and bake it for 20-25 minutes.
    o Once the time is completed, check the cake by dipping a knife/toothpick in the cake to confirm the mixture is baked properly. If there is any moisture on the knife/toothpick, then bake it for some more time until the moisture dry.
    o Now take out the baked cake leave it cool down.
    o Now cut the cake in small pieces as shown in video.
