@@Abhishek-fe3zs Aka, you need to level up your character. That's a big surprise in a rpg, besides it takes like an hour of practise at max to unlock a handful of combos. Git gud also means getting better at reading your opponents, learning to outspace them, learning when to go for attacks when fighting multiple people etc.
This kind of game is important nowadays. Warhorse Studios is a small studio with great ambitions. They're trying to make high quality solo rpg aiming at hard core gamers. No season pass, no day one DLC, no micro transaction. Many gamers complained about what big studios are trying to do with gaming : making it a service where you have to pay for everything even if you put 60 € upfront. So yes, the game have flaws, but we can send a message to AAA publisher by making this one a success. I havel bought it, even if I will wait some time for patches before playing it.
Yup, that's why they deserve praise beyond simply being good games. These devs, much like many other risk-taking indy devs, are the industry pioneers that drive things forwards. AAA publishers like EA, Ubisoft and Activision Blizzard are the trailing arse-end of the industry, the bottom feeders parasiting off all of the already established technologies and market trends.
FabulousFab You know what? I love the game but I didn’t even think about it until you said that. This game truly deserves to do good to show other developers what an actual game should be. It’s a shame that most reviewers are bashing it. I guess everybody is entitled to his opinion but this game only deserves respects from the gaming industry.
Did another 5 hours tonight, only did one quest, spent the rest of the time making 2k gold, murdering bandits and a few civvies, burgled a few houses, had a drunken fist fight, slept with a whore then went home and gave my GF a present. This game is getting better and better and it's why when I played Witcher 3 I felt it was totally lacking as an RPG.
@@gilmer3718 lol witcher 3 = about 5 mins lol and this? day 2 and i feel like i have found that game that you play over the next couple of years it's that good, it's a fantastic feeling when you havnt felt that since the ps2/xbox era. loving it
Summary This game brought back all the early RPG memories such as Morrowind, Oblivion etc it is a total breath of fresh air and tbh I had so much more to say in my review but I ran out of time. I love the whole idea that beating someone in combat has nothing to do with player levels, it's all about you the player training and learning by repetition, just like you do in real life. I love the whole way you quest, you can pretty much approach the quests from many different strategic points, you also have total control over who you kill (although I have not yet tried to take out a leading NPC) I have though taken out many innocent civvies and robbed them and dumped their body in a river ;) I love how everything has a consequence, fighting is not just about beating your enemy, it's about surveying all the damage that your victory may have brought such as wounds, blood stains and damaged armour/weapons. Taking a nice bath after a long fight is a great way to heal and get cleaned and then sitting down repairing your gear is great, providing you have put in the hours to learn that craft. You are literally living your character in the 15th century and it's so much damn fun that the bugs mainly go unnoticed. It's just sad that many mainstream reviewers seem to have totally missed the point with this game, many think it's Witcher 3 or Batman, they totally miss the point of training, some of them don't even cover it in their review and it's the main mechanic of the game. This is typical of game reviewers that are well, businessmen and not really gamers, they can only do one type of game, button mashing tripe but hey if they sound pro enough the people will believe the bullshit even though all their "Review" footage is tripe. Moaning about how bad Henry is at horse riding before he has even kitted out his horse or learned the riding skills more, it's embarrassing that these people call themselves reviewers and the people can't see through it. It damages games and am convinced devs feed these people with dumbed down games so they can play them better and hail them as something amazing so their zombie subscribers go and buy it. Why bother trying to make a great game like this when so many dumb reviewers are happy to hail button mashing tripe as GOTY, devs will just produce more and more shite for them. Anyway rant over. My one hope is that devs see the potential of this again, i thought these games would never return as we are constantly being fed bullshit perk systems and button mashing plastic RPG's, this one is a throwback to when games were great, just a shame it has a lot of bugs that need fixing. Anyway I have a date with the millers daughter, poaching to do for the local villain and a few people to rob and then murder and that is all before dinner ;)
Glad you always tell it like it is Matt. This may be the first time I have agreed with your review for a rpg. This is my type of game. I am having so much fun but feel like I have barely scratched the surface. That is after 50 hrs. It feels like an old school rpg with real consequences. and a pseudo sandbox, where i just live (play) the way i want. and I agree the story including the side stuff is enjoyable and solid. For history buffs like me, the lore is great as well.
Worth A Buy Thank you. The like to dislike ratio on this video compared to Koubitz where she flat out says “this game is bad” just shows how absolutely wrong she is about the point of this game
Mack I have bought this game because I take your word for it when you say it is not like any other game. I have been waiting many years fore a game that revolutionises the gaming industry (for the positive of gamers). You are the best and most honest reviewer on youtube and your reviews resonate with me about 90% of the time. Ive told you about Alt LAN before and would still love to see you there to actually meet you as a like minded person :)
Worth A Buy I went through the same experience. At first I thought to myself.. meh.. But somehow all the AAA games tainted my initial impressions of the game. I was so used to copy paste mechanics that I was expecting the same thing with this game. Once I took the game for what it is it became amazing. And its getting better and better. This is one of the few games that brought back the kind of excitement I had as a child/teenager playing in the golden era of gaming.
This is a cult classic, im calling it now. This game is so different than any other rpgs i have played. Its like Oblivion...without magic...with a good story. Idk what does it, but its amazing. The fucking Runt fight was a hell tho, i had 1hp and it saved me right before he 1 shotted me. I had to use a fucking trainer to bypass the bugged save. RIP if that happens to anyone on consoles. Otherwise the game is great
Runt's a hard bastard for sure. I also definitely think this game is going down in history as a classic. It's legendary. I love it so much. Oblivion had a good story I think btw. I enjoyed it.
How is it different from other rpgs? I’m not being cheeky, I’m just curious why you say that? I’m a little over 20 hrs in, and to be honest, I’m not getting the hype. I don’t feel like I’ve done anything in this game I haven’t done in other rpgs. What am I missing? Again, I’m not trying to sound like a dick. I’m really curious.
Scott Reactor Great question! I think its the mixing of survival and rpg that makes it so great for me. It picks some of the best elements from rpgs like oblivion and mixes it with survival. Other things is the questing system, how quests just move on withouth you, it makes the world feel alot more realistic and imersive as you have to plan and make piorities. Other than that i think the frame of the game is pretty standard now after 60 hours in. It has one of the best rpg storys i have played tho, and it should be comended for that :)
Worth A Buy it’s busy season in my job, but still stayed up til 3 am first night (after I came home at 12), and til 2 am last night. So fucking worth it, this is amazing
I heard there are already mods for saving the game, I was listening to an interview in czech yesterday (live) there will be patch in two weeks and then another in the next two weeks and then they will release modder resources, they were also talking about the small loading screens everywhere, they said they will neverbe able to eliminate them entirely because of the nature of how the game works in the background, how everything is connected and needs to be calculated, because the actions the NPCs do are not independent of everything else, everything interconnected to create believable world, so it takes time to do many things... it sucks but there is no other way around it with the interconectivity
I love it how you always feel like a normal person. I'm 20 hours in and I've killed about 10 people. Meeting 3 bandits in the road can be terrifying especially if they have chainmail - if it was the witcher you'd kill them all in a second then carry on. And if you do manage to kill three bandits, you feel like a god, especially when you loot them and sell all their gear. (Again, something you don't do in the witcher) I also love it how you have to eat and sleep. Say I need to head to a town on the other end of the map; you have to plan your journey. Maybe ride halfway until it starts to get dark, then stop off at a tavern, play dice, buy provisions, rent a room, then wake up in the morning, have breakfast (with all the other NPCs) then continue on the rest of your journey. And it's not like this is pointless like in skyrim - you genuinely do need to eat and rest. I'm in love
@@InsaneLiquid Witcher on death march is easy... I started off on it... I absolutely love the witcher, have 160hrs in it, and that doesn't include the dlc which I haven't tried yet, last I played was on ng+ at the beginning n plan on doing the dlc on that. One hit can kill you from too high level npcs which I love but it's absolutely impossible to kill them... I came across bandits, I don't do all that rolling around bollocks, I don't even play with a HUD n I was fighting these cunts, parrying, side stepping, slashing, using signs but they just kept coming... So I turned the Hud on then the damage bars, not one bit of damage were they taking... It's immersion breaking. Only difficult battles I had, were the Jinn, the wild hunt general n those bandits lol Explosive bolts are overpowered n it's just not an RPG This game Im enjoying better as it makes you feel like your feet are on the ground, decisions are important. Witcher is an absolute masterpiece but is also got a lot that's wrong with it n too easy. Play it overburdened if you haven't... It brings the camera down to over his shoulder n it's exactly like the trailers n he doesn't have that awkward run, if you wanna move fast, use roach n just dump furs n bear skins if you need to run n jump then pick back up... Combat isn't affected by being overburdened. This game has me feeling, I'm gonna fucking die lol
Yeah. I wish we see some better "blood in the eye" smearing effects one day. This should not be too hard! Seems like here we still are wearing glasses, as in most games where there is like "raindrops on glasses" effects.
@@Stephen-ut5xo it deserves appreciating fans which makes happy customers, like me. not trash people like you. go back to assassin's creed or whatever ubi shoves your throat every year.
26 hours in so far, played before i watched this review, all i could think about was "i can't wait for mack's wab to come out, i wonder what he will say". Wasn't disappointed, i like this game more than i thought i would and i'm a backer. Sometimes i find amazing places in the forests on top of hills, there's a little campfire and a tree stump that you can sit on, and just gaze at the distance, absolutely stunning game, and in no other game have i heard better night forest sounds, reminded me so much of my village in eastern europe, environment looks very similar.
Although I'm Czech from Village right behind the Prague and I love realistic notonly-RPG elements. I don't like too much completely fantastical worlds.. I was waiting whole life for something like this and I don't have this game ....... YET :D ..... You know finances and partialy broken PC. And this will broke him even more I don't want to lower any settings to secure not see BSOD every few hours. But i think I will invest very soon in this "experience", nevertheless.
I felt the same and since I'm from Hungary I have the added bonus of understanding every word the cumans say which is a first and awesome at the same time. We call them Kun -s btw. Sigismund is Zsigmond and Venceslas is Vencel, so I had to switch some gears in my brain to get who is who. :D
For everyone who has trouble getting enough savior Schnaps. There is a hidden garden west/southwest of Uschitze at the border of the forest where you can find the ingredients for the potion, the berries i mean. Nettle you can find everywhere. But in the garden are enough for like 7 Schnaps and the berries will respawn after some days. I'm holding so many Schnaps, i could make my own Schnaps Business in Bohemia :D
If true medieval life is boring.Ask yourself a question, do i expect explosions and constant action in a game? or do i expect something else? I expect a game to be immersive, and for me to enjoy a immersive life. This game is excellent. If i want to have explisions everywherfe and constantly be action filled, i have other games for that.
I just started playing this game tonight. I don't think I've ever played anything like this before. The storyline, the cut scenes even draw you in, and just the way it plays out is pretty amazing. Nothing like it. Thanks for the review on this one, you nailed it.
Shut up with this “true gamer” horseshit. If you enjoy playing video-games, then you’re a gamer. You don’t need to 100% The Witcher 3, play through Baldur’s Gate II 5 times and know every line in Half Life 2 to qualify.
Sometimes it's horseshit, but I've seen reviews where people call it a bad game for being realistic, being too difficult to learn etc. Those people aren't real gamers, they want shit handed to them on a plate.
Suuulan cutscenes weren't a thing in the early years of gaming. So that's a stupid thing to say. Stories were very well told back then, cutscenes were in your imagination. I've been gaming for 25+ years, never liked the MGS series because too much cutscenes. I'm not a real gamer? Pshhh! 🙄
BasedDisciple Sure, you can be a gamer. But a"true gamer" can play any game no matter how complex. A true gamer is patient and figures shit out for himself instead of bitching about it on game forums and UA-cam comments. It's the gamers who grew up playing NES, Genesis...when games were fucking hard and there was no internet to look up how to beat a game. Those are the gamers he's talking about.
When you play this game you can smell the horse poo, feel the bohemian wind and you only want to eat wild boar throughout the day. And now i wear a red cape and yell at my cats "onwards my fellow steads"! Yea i love the Game, awesome work!
I've watched Karak's review, it's clear KCD is just not his thing. He said "wait for sale" and blamed it on the bugs but I got the feeling he'd say that even if the game was 100% bug free. Plus he gave Fallout 4 a glowing review. This guy may be honest but his tastes are pretty shallow, unlike this "Worth a Buy" dude. He totally gets the game.
ACG has informed reviews, but his taste when it comes to game itself, just plain sucks...the dude thinks fallout 4 is A GREAT GAME , does some videos with the biggest fanboy of them all- mr matt plays ...so yeah
Well, everybody have different opinions when it comes to game taste. Are you new to this planet or what? Also, Mac also said that fallout 4 is worth a buy
AGC has almost never let me down with his reviews. If you want badly informed reviews go check out whatculturegaming, they have been awful lately. Of course no one is gonna agree with everything AGC reviews, that's impossible. However he's one of the rare reviewers who can make you laugh while also being highly informative about the game. He also gave the game a lot of praise and rightly said wait for a sale, because at the moment all the bugs can really turn someone off from the game. Even though I love it anyways and for me it was an instant buy. Also coming from a sound engineer, when he talks about the sound of games I can tell he really knows his stuff and it's quite impressive no other review goes into as much detail. Mack is fucking awesome too though so between them both, I completely agree with you. I always know what I'm getting myself into when I go to purchase a game after I listen to them both. Keep up the good work Mack!
A realistic rpg that's a true rpg, accurate history and when I say true I mean you use your head and not easy mode like skyrim. If you want easy mode stick to skyrim. If you want a rpg that is a dead on rpg plus actually takes work this is for you.
I had this game in my steam library for over 6 months before I played it because I heard it was a buggy mess. After finally completing the game with all the dlc I can say this is probably my favourite RPG ever, like Mac says you need to live it & learn the skills you need but the rewards are immense with a sense of achievement I’ve never felt in any other game. Cannot wait for the next chapter.
This game is good because its writen by the same guy who wrote Mafia The city of lost heaven. Also its from fresh studio in czech republic and not that Ubibugs and Electronic grabcash
I say this because they are shitty studio. I remember when they was making good games. Now its all same mechanics ( like some kind of beacons that you have to conquer to show map)
Well, do you think that I can run this gamer at least on medium settings with GTX 970 and Intel Core i7 4970S (3,2 - 4.0 Ghz) With at least 60 - 50 FPS? :/ What setup do you have? :/
@ Ondrej - I have almost the same PC specs as you and I can run fine at medium to high settings between 50 - 60 fps. No problem. It is a fantastic looking game and it looks beautiful even at medium settings.
.. but you should probably install in SSD, this will help to cut down on loading times and probably helps with any instability stuttering. .... you may encounter which is not that often
Greetings from Czech Republic, guys. No one is mentioning what's worth mentioning. This is Dan Vávra's dream project. Guy who made first Mafia. Enough said. What a fucking legend.
I've put around 6 hours in. Honestly I'm not the kind to like RPG games, but I'm fucking loving it. Right know I'm stealing my way through, but I get so surprised and hyped that others can choose a completely different approach to the game.
I'm really liking it too and I don't like RPG's at all. The only time I ever give them a go is purely to explore the world with a trainer using 'alternatively obtained' versions of the game. For me, the combat is always the biggest letdown as it always boils down to button mashing with no skill. I've tried 3 times to play The Witcher 3 for the story, even bought it last time, and I still can't do it because of the combat. As for KCD, I'm also still in that 'early tutorial' phase (about 5 hours) but so far it's great. I love how it appears your choices do have an impact on your story and how the world genuinely seems real. When I went straight to the first combat training but had to wait for the guy to turn up, he wasn't just there like in other games. As you say, the choice of how you play and how you interact with NPC's is also something that many other games don't do as well. This could well be the first RPG I 'finish' since Borderlands 2.
see thats the point of a good game, even if its not your cup of tea you still appreciate what this game dose. i personal love rpg and have been waiting on a good rpg for years. got around 23 hours into this and not even close to quarter the way in spent my time learning to fight and hunt. you need a boar? ill get you one while drunk. that what 5 hours IRL time trainning to hunt dose to you xD love this game so much. this is what an RPG should be.
I'm a little late to the KCD party, but man, I love this game so far. It started off slow, but its finally picking up pace as I level up and get accustomed to the combat. A definite buy for people who love RPG's
Mack, I don't know if you know this but on the save games front you can make your own savior schnapps at an alchemists bench, the recipe for it is in the book you find there. Of course, you have to be literate to actually read it.
Yea, you can mass produce schnapps if you want, the ingredients are dirt cheap, also you can find them in gardens and nature easy enough. When you get better at alchemy you can instantly make them without having to go through the mini-game.
Only recently discovered your channel. Been watching your old reviews and when I saw this, I bought it straight away. Reviews are always informative and funny
Yea this guy is brutal honest about the games and I love it, but sometimes it seems like he is more of a guy who plays mostly alone/with couple friends and it shows in multiplayer reviews as reviewing the tactical / communication parts are lacking. Like he did seem to like enlisted for example, me as long time hardcore FPS player hated it even though the game ran ok and it's semi fun to "pewpew" for short while. For that is ok. Just like Witcher 3 :D but that game lacks the immersion of proper tactical war which anyone with half a brain and sence about real tactical leadership will see. It damn won't even allow most basic simple flanking manouvers for the squad, it's p2w and communication=404. This is why for me it is kind of like the Witcher 3, fun for a while but if you want the real deal, go to Squad, or Hell let loose or smtgh where you actually need to do shit :D so tldr him reviewing multiplayer won't get you as much accurate information as fron him reviewing games like this. But he is honest and that's what important and why I like him and sadly honesty is rate thing to come by these days
Gave this a try since it was on Game Pass. By the end of the week I bought the Royal Edition for $20. I think this is going to turn out to be one of my favorite games ever. So refreshing to play a game that doesn’t hold your hand the whole f’ing time. I’m not looking up any guides or tips, whatever happens, happens; I don’t give a shit if I don’t play it perfect minmaxing it to death.
I put this game off for a very long time because of the save mechanic and the combat system, but picked it up on a steam sale recently. I'm so damn glad I did, over 100 hours in and still haven't really scraped the surface. Shit ton of side-quests still to do and not even halfway through the main one. Just taking my time and gradually levelling, immersing myself in the world. Reading the codex and learning a bit of history as I go. I decided to mod the game so that I can save normally without the schnapps, and with that the game is absolutely playable for me, it is easily one of my favourite games of all time and there is nothing else like it. It will definitely be one of those that leaves an empty void once I've finished it and it's partly some of the reason I'm not rushing to finish it.
next patches are scheduled to be released in two and four weeks from now more or less, and then modders resources should be released so if you buy it in a month it should be much better :)
well it doesn't take much to offend those, try calling any of them and ask how many white and black man they have in the building. Should be enough to make me laugh for a week. They might actually fire someone to have equal numbers lol
Bonus about this game is that it attracts triggered snowflakes who can't stand the sight of brown people and "the gays" in their games. Now they can play this and stop shedding their tears on every fucking gaming video and forum on the internet.
Shodan Cat I work with people with many colours and are good friends with them. Gay guys too. Why do I get along with them? They don't want special treatment. As far as the leftist SJWs go that's a different and pathetic story.
ur absolutely spot on mack... i got this a week ago and im in love. everything u said about it was spot on. it's basically Thief + Morrowind + For Honor
Mack glad you agree. I love this game so far. I think it’s the best RPG I have played since Morrowind. One comment: I know you hate consoles but my PC can’t play this game well so I’m playing on my Xbox X. I’m 15 hours in the game... no bugs so far and no loading screens when opening map like you say in the review. As a matter of fact I can’t remember any loading screens at all. The game plays incredibly smoothly.
Strangely the loading screen when talking, opening the map, or transitioning into a cinematic seems to be a PC thing only. Hopefully they will be able to better optimize this game in the future for PC users. Right now its kind of a mess, most reviewers can't handle the bugs, so they call it a buggy mess and tell people not to buy it, ever, as if the bugs can't be fixed and the whole game is ruined because of it. Im glad WAB gave it an honest and informative review.
Man OnEarth yeah I heard that’s a great game and seems awesome from what I have seen. I don’t have it unfortunately. However, even though I love games like divinity and baldur’s gate I consider them in a different kind of rpg category. In this game and games like Morrowind i feel 100% immersion because maybe the 1st person or the story or the fact that both game do very little to hold your hand. Man, I remember putting 100 hours in Morrowind before even starting the main campaign. This game for many aspects reminds me of that. In the fact for example that you are, like Mack says, shite at everything at start. And only way to get better is practice and training. Love that.
Just played Metal Gear Survive....I almost wasn't a gamer anymore because of that stupid game! Now I watch this video and I'm returning into a gamer again.
This game reminded me of old rpgs, combined with the sometimes mind-boggling possibilities of modern day technology; the potion crafting alone is a piece of art... And to be able to fight off some bandits or hitting that long range bow shot after hours of practise is just so damn satisfying.
Wow Man, this the most amazing and personal review Ive ever seen.I have no idea how I did not know about this game for 5 years, so Im gona buy it now, and If the game is half as good as your review than its gona be a blast:) thx
@@MMACinephile Great game. It takes a while at the start, cause yoiu get like 90% of the time story telling and not so much action, but speeds up later.
Yup! you hit the nail on the head with this review! it is ground breaking and unlike anything else I've ever played! I love how fresh and immersive it feels - takes me right back to my first play through of morrowind, not knowing where to go, what to do and how to survive in a world that you're a nobody in. The gameplay and systems are so rewards to get into, there's such a huge amount of detail and it all makes sense from a role playing and real world perspective - the charisma and persuasion stats and the way bartering works is so fantastic... lock picking is new, the combat is new, the way archery works is new... the health system and stamina system is new... the way armour can be layered and has an effect on how you're percieved by others... this game just blows my mind with how much attention to detail has gone into the world, not just the graphics but the sysstems, items, npcs, quests... it really is an absolute triumph of a game and guess what? no micro-fucking-transactions or loot-wanks... Praise Jesus for this game!
Can it be real? Are we really past the point of "batman-style" "combat" systems that boil down to mashing X? Please, developers, start copying this game.
No, "smash X to kill all the things" is not going anywhere, but once every five years, adults get a game too this is that game, we'll get another in 2023
Sounds like Oblivion's lvl system is making a comeback,.. man i liked that about Oblivion so much that Skyrim never felt right to me,.. no matter how much i tried to like it. Bugs are there too,.. sounds like we have a winner on our hands :D
Save has been improved and almost all bugs are fixed. I haven't come across a bug in ages. This game is simulation first, game second. Highly recommended.
Awesome review!! We need more enthusiastic and spoiler free review like this. Just subscribed and you just sold me on this game. Hopefully now that the game has been out awhile there's much less bugs.
in summary. innovative game, fantastic story, rewards time spent, however what will keep my money in my pocket is the fact that it is very buggy with an unforgiving save mechanic and buggy games in general have those bugs leech over into ctds, and like i've learned through two decades of playing bethesda games is that you should save often, because you never when a ctd or a game changing bug might occur. i'll save my money for now, but i'll keep an eye on the game and see whether the devs or modders are able to fix the bugs, at which point, i'll pony up. great review btw, i wouldn't be as informed without it
there is a single file mod on nexus that lets you save any time, it is like 1 minute to do you literally just put it in the game dir and you good. Been using it for 30 hours now no probs. All the bugs there are are clipping issues, nothing else just clipping issues. After 42 hours in. Hope that helps. Performance is a bit janky if you dont have ssd and enough ram with a good card. Never had a ctd.
excellent! in modders i trust. you just made me wanna get this a little bit more, but still i think i wanna see a big patch either official or unofficial first. i just wanna get so immersed and absolutely play the hell out of it, but bugs bring me right out of that world and back into reality where i realize i'm single and have no friends
24 hours into this game and the save mod dose help alot. but ive been runnning CMD% logging everything while i play the only issue it clipping unlike fallout, witcher 3 the bugs dont hurt at all if anything give u a laugh and lose litte immersion.
i am not saying i wouldn't like the mechanics of the save system (needing to rest, using a potion) so that immersion is kept high as save scumming is kept to a minimum. however i dont like that system when a game isn't properly polished and is riddled with bugs. and please tell me what i dont know, i'm curious
You’re Review of Kingdom Come Delivery Pc with all the Dlc’s + HD high resolution texture Pack sold me 🎶 butt after Purchasing game i Waited, Just wasn’t ready as i new it was a Long game 🕹 after One year I finally Picked it up & haven’t Stopped, Most bugs fixed butt the Story is tremendous : i’m always like What’s gonna happen next , etc ….. the Graphics are great, demanding Ultra high quality makes Cpu usage high as well ( R7-3700x + 32gb + Rtx 2060 Super & Mvne ) Love the Characters 🍷
I love that when you go up to a sleeping NPC to bug them about a quest they tell you to sod off and go back to sleep. I'm so used to RPGs where they instantly jump out of bed and cater to you. Imagine if some stranger was standing over you at 2am and started asking you stupid questions, you'd tell them to get the hell out of your house! Then there are the curfews in cities and how pitch black the nights it is at night. It all adds to the immersion. Best game I've played in years.
Yes, the lack of Apache Helicopter representation in this game is worrying. Very problematic, as it is the current year 2018! Btw I understand the game is set it the 1400s, but would a single Abrams tank depiction for the sake of equal representation, really ruin your game so much guys, that you couldn't play it anymore. Please be more tolerant in the future guys!
I'll have you know I've read actual proof on tumblr that there were attack helicopters in 15th century Bohemia. I wont support Developpers who denie simple, well researched factual facts on tumblr!!
Eh close enough right?... www.visitsitaly.com/people/da_vinci/images/da-vinci-skull_helicopter.jpg ...same century at least...good enough for tumblr I guess
Halfway through this review I got the biggest chills, ticked all the DLCs, swiped my card, and busy installing!!! Brilliant review, GOD I can't wait to play this now.
I bought it also 2 days ago, since there was such a huge sale on the Royal Edition with all the DLC. It's been a while since i have enjoyed a game this much! Can't wait to play more.
the devs said that theres a patch coming out in a few weeks that will fix some of the more annoying stuff like lockpicking and adding a save and exit so at least you wont have to deal with some of the more annoying things if you wait lol, dont get me wrong though its a great game ive had a great time playing it.
I actually pirate a lot myself, 99% of the time I either delete in two hours and never think about the game ever again or delete and buy the steam copy. Piracy isn't always just stealing money out of the devs pockets.
The best games come from studios that still have to prove themselves. That have that hunger. No big studios, just a group of people who develop a game pure with love and passion for the medium. No deadlines and other interests. It's when something becomes a big mainstream success with lots of attention from the larger casual audience outside that circle of hardcore gamers, shit often goes downhill. When more parties, Hollywood and other investing leeches are starting to get involved. People who only want the big bucks and care zero shits for the game itself. Marketing, selling an illusion gets most important, as well as implementing loot boxes and other schemes to get more money. And that's why many games of big AAA developers are in the state that they often are in nowadays. Simple
Man, you just sold me on this game. I love how its more about player skill than just simply levelling up and getting perks, for example witcher 3 was great, but i fucking hated how a bandit could take 30 hits from me just because his level was higher, yet he could kill me with one shitty swing of his club. This game honestly looks like such a breath of fresh air, it just seems so immersive, instead of going "oh i cant fight that guy because hes a higher level" its "i cant fight that guy because im not skilled enough yet to beat him". That is a truly immersive experience. And the story is great aswell? And it has historically accurate architecture and armour/weapon design? This sounds like the game ive always wanted, thanks for this review, after watching it you are correct in saying all other reviews are shit, they haven't grasped what the developers were trying to accomplish with this game.
To answer your question as far as I can from a couple of hours in: Yes, the story is great. And I define great by beliveable. You are not the god damn chosen super dude like everywhere else. You got no superpowers nor anything special really. The most special thing probably is, that you are the son of a skilled blacksmith which is worth a bit. The plot is belibveabel, like it could really have happend. To the architecture: Its phantastic! Im not a historian but I red quite some historic novels by bernard cornwell which wer recherched quite well. So based on this the game is phenomenal. Like within a castle there is everything tight, because there simply was no room within it, things are build compact to defend them better. Most Buildings are out of wood, poverty really is there, means, there is not a chest full with treasure everywhere. Roads are not made of stones, beause that used to be very very rare. Its just blank earth and mud. Every room or building serves a really important purpose. Well, Im starting rambeling :D Im very impressed by this game.
6 years later and still a bit buggy. It's also one of my favorite games ever. It feels like morrowind or oblivion to me. Takes some time to get into, but the immersion is off the charts when it works
One of my favourite games of all time, absolute passion project, you can feel it oozing from the screen. I can't wait to see what war horse studios do next with a bigger budget, the game is not for everyone but if you can get through the slightly different feeling beginning of the game it is the most immersive and authentic experience in gaming. Great review, i knew you would be able to see past the bugs and understand the groundbreaking experience it offers.
@@Maesterful In a certainway it is indeed similar. But not in all ways. The biggest difference is any sort of fantasy or magic of course, which is not present in KCD. But the similarity is, that you start off as a nobody. weak like shit. Well I feel you are a little bit weaker in Gothic at the beginning but still. Most "modern" Games are just like mash the buttons and ran into 10 people straight after starting the game to make the player feel cool and badass. This game is not a bout the player feeling badass. Its much more about the player building up realistically and I really love it. Also it is much more authentic then any other game Ive played so far. Not gonna say you "learn" about history there but it certainly does many things right.
Bought this on steam yesterday on sale for €13 and oh my god.... ding ding ding. Amazing game, I've put in 17 hours in just over 24 hours. Been years since I dine thst with any game amd I'm no where through it. Story is brilliant, bugs gone, mods are available as quality of life improvement, like save any time, remove Bush collision etc. Best €13 I've ever spent. I can see myself playing this for 100 hours at least. AND I got all the dlc for free, going to play Threaseas story when I'm finished playing Henry. Pripper live the life of the person, but so much fun. Great review. Thanks.
Yeah, I would also have liked if the combat was like Chivalry's (having played it for 700hours I've mastered it), But I feel like they have done an amazing job at making it realistic, despite some God awful animations.
Hey Mac, as an old gamer like you I was looking for a game like this and after I seen your Worthabuy about this one I bought it and play it for 2 weeks now and I can say that it's a great game with awesome mechanics, things that I want in any RPG and it definitely brings a lot of hard times playing it if you don't train your character and even if I thought at first combat isn't so great I was hardly mistaken and I really loved it after I got the hang of it. Quest line is great, side quests are there and also entertaining but, after 11 months you made this video, the game is still with some bugs and worth mentioning. I am level 18 in swords, level 20 in warfare, level 16 in bows. Even so like 90% of those poor bandits parry every attack I am making and I parry every of their strikes at least I can do that. But still, 90% of bandits are jedi masters, they parry all the strikes and they move around like they are some sort of the combat masters. Even in the arena there isn't an enemy to parry like that every blow and to be honest, this is some sort of game breaking for some at it seems the game scales the bandits at your level and a bit higher so your hard time spent into training is some what useless most of the fights. Most of them are on full armor also so whatever you do, with all the training, you still get your ass kicked as they run you over and pummel your ass. And, after all this problems, that announcement to block is bugged sometimes and at some enemy's it's not showing and you just have to guess and the combos you learn is hardly something to carry over as I said, they block like masters :) I am that sort that likes games with no saving every 5 minutes, and even if I die to some bandit camp I start over and try to do better. But, the game crashes many times like when you take some arrows from the horse and that isn't fun when you went exploring, hardly beaten 3 or 4 bandit camps, do some side quests parts, do some hunting for bow skill and some alchemy. That's how I lost many hours... Everybody knows Henry man. Like everybody wherever you go, bam Henry is an well known character and everybody is saluting you. This is really something that devs didn't fixed after so much time. I had and still have a great time in it and thank you for the recommendation and this game is really a step up from an usual RPG game, but for somebody that want's to buy it soon should expect some bugs that might be game breaking for them. Hello Henry is everywhere, whatever skill you have enemy seems to scale, and game crashes when you don't expect it so a huge stack of snaps for saving often is required.
ovatone yea but 90% of them focus on non important things and look at things in the wrong way. One of the issues i had with them are things like having to actually have to practice combat in-game is seen as a bad thing. games lately are taught to you in like 45 seconds. Theres nothing wrong with your character being a premade badass, but this is the first game in a while where you are a nobody. This game i actually needed to train myself instead of making my character a God that can bend an arrow around a corner. Like how mack says your character is an idiot. Dude cant read or swing a sword until you play the role to learn it for you and him. Bigger youtubers, 300k subs or more, do not mention at all. These thing's at all.
ovatone also everyone of them mention 2v1 combat is hard and i just read a comment that makes sense ... when had real 2v1 combat been easy unless you are part of the 2? They expect some giant icon in slowmo showing them an attack coming from behind?
Great review and spot on. The glitches are very frustrating, so save and save again, but even with all the bugs this is an amazing, grown up game. Just one thing worth mentioning that I didnt hear mentioned was that you can save the game at the bath house. Click on Take a Wench option and your clothes are laundered, u are healed, yr stats go back up to full and yr games saved.
Just bought this two weeks ago and finished it yesterday. LOVE it. Just bought the DLC pack and I intend to keep playing until I've exhausted all the side content. Love progressing, love the perks you unlock, love getting ahead in gear, love taking out a bunch of attackers at once. Great game, not just a quick hack and slash, but an immersive experience with fun, rewarding combat and a plethora of ways to go about any quest. Landing successful bow shots from far away feels so nice, like in no other game. Because there's no crosshair to aim with! :D Love it.
At the start Mack calls out shitty, ignorant reviews - I assume he's talking about the horse riding, as many have said it's terrible off-road. Well, we can clearly see it's not, if only you skill up your Horse Riding Skill. Shame on lame reviewers, and well done Mack. :-)
that the problem with "i got to be first REEEEEEE" Meantilty of lot of reviewers they dont take the time to properly play the game to give it a fair and proper reveiw they rush the prolog hit 2 people ride a horse for 5mins and upload an hafe arsed video about it. sad unlike here we get a honest reveiw simple down "its got bugs, but its a amazing game"
Really enjoyed this review - was the final thing to push me to pick up this game. Only about 10 or so hours in now but I am absolutely loving how immersed I am when I play it. Stunning stuff. Thanks for the video!
The stairs werent a glitch mac, Henry is just shit at climbing stairs, you need to upgrade your stair skill.
is this real?
@@Ther_Bear yes
Not the stairs! ‘Wilhelm Scream!’
hahaha im dead from this comment
Roughly 1 year later, most of the bugs have been fixed, and the optimization has been worked on. Fucking FANTASTIC game, now.
RDR911 agreed. favorite game of 2018. (although i can’t compare it with RDR2 because it’s still not out on fucking pc yet >:()
@@Abhishek-fe3zs Try some git gud, helps with butt hurt.
@@Abhishek-fe3zs Yeah? That's what it means.
CheckItOut x have you ever learnt to do something in real life before?
Hopefully they don't go the way of CD Projekt red
The game isn't brilliant dude, its one of the most over rated games out there. Even Mack agrees.
Yeah I agree they are good devs with good policies, they just make crappy games.
I have Witcher 3 and I have this game. This game = 607 played hours. Witcher 3 - about an hour.
@@gilmer3718 lol witcher 3 = about 5 mins lol and this? day 2 and i feel like i have found that game that you play over the next couple of years it's that good, it's a fantastic feeling when you havnt felt that since the ps2/xbox era. loving it
I love you're vids! You are so helpfull :D
Hey Mack
Mack you ex forces too 😅😂👍civvies

Summary
This game brought back all the early RPG memories such as Morrowind, Oblivion etc it is a total breath of fresh air and tbh I had so much more to say in my review but I ran out of time.
I love the whole idea that beating someone in combat has nothing to do with player levels, it's all about you the player training and learning by repetition, just like you do in real life.
I love the whole way you quest, you can pretty much approach the quests from many different strategic points, you also have total control over who you kill (although I have not yet tried to take out a leading NPC) I have though taken out many innocent civvies and robbed them and dumped their body in a river ;)
I love how everything has a consequence, fighting is not just about beating your enemy, it's about surveying all the damage that your victory may have brought such as wounds, blood stains and damaged armour/weapons.

I used the bow and arrow method where you shoot him in the head several times while keeping distance it worked really well
I literally one shot killed Runt with a bow and arrow lmao
Just got it finished, off to bed now it's 6:50am :S
I was waiting for you to Wab this :)
ps remember to play all the sea dogs games :)
only 2 are on steam the others are on GOG
I only wish instead of British accents that the characters had Czech accents for added immersion.
there are czech sang songs in the game and people use some czech curse words :D
I'm in love
@transylvanian after you level up some you get a few options to slow them down through perks... mind by now you most likely know.
Did you just say you cant loot Bandits and sell that loot in the Witcher?
Play witcher on hardest difficulty
I agree with everything said here. This game is a special kind of amazing. I don't even play it...I exist in it.
Only difficult battles I had, were the Jinn, the wild hunt general n those bandits lol
Explosive bolts are overpowered n it's just not an RPG
This game Im enjoying better as it makes you feel like your feet are on the ground, decisions are important.
Hooray for first person view and not rolling around on the floor like a prick.
Well said
Yeah. I wish we see some better "blood in the eye" smearing effects one day. This should not be too hard! Seems like here we still are wearing glasses, as in most games where there is like "raindrops on glasses" effects.
Bad combat makes the game shit.
ClassWarrior87 like the elder scrolls series.
I think I just crossed over to a part of UA-cam where making fun of the witcher 3 is an ok thing to do.
This game is getting a lot of publicity. I hope it gets tons of sales
It's doing very well in sales. Bouncing between #1 and #2 best seller on steam.
i dont see how this buggy trash deserves a lot of sales
SO MUCH LOOKING FORWARD TO THIS. Where are you from? One day I want to be on holidays in Poland, Czech Rep. or Slowakia...
you are welcome :) ua-cam.com/video/YgykVivWV74/v-deo.html

I approve this message
That's much better than just boring ;)
If true medieval life is boring.Ask yourself a question, do i expect explosions and constant action in a game? or do i expect something else?
I expect a game to be immersive, and for me to enjoy a immersive life. This game is excellent. If i want to have explisions everywherfe and constantly be action filled, i have other games for that.
NEARLY PERFECT
This game is bollocks.
I just started playing this game tonight. I don't think I've ever played anything like this before. The storyline, the cut scenes even draw you in, and just the way it plays out is pretty amazing. Nothing like it. Thanks for the review on this one, you nailed it.
Finally an honest review from a true gamer, who know how to play games.
+1
Poor Bd Gamer Don't consider someone who hates cutscenes a true gamer
One of my most loved games of ALL time. this is how I imagined games would be back in 2000.
When you play this game you can smell the horse poo, feel the bohemian wind and you only want to eat wild boar throughout the day.
And now i wear a red cape and yell at my cats "onwards my fellow steads"!
Yea i love the Game, awesome work!
Marc Lemand it's fantastic.
Marc Lemand this comment is gold lol
Man if only they would make more games like this --- like the PC games of old.
Let's hope they fix it and it sells a ton!
Between Mack and ACG, I always know exactly what to do with my game budget. Great review.
He totally gets the game.
they are often of the opposite opinion, ACG thought Sniper Elite was good lol
If you want a rpg that is a dead on rpg plus actually takes work this is for you.
this game is a gem.
I agree. Just blew me away!
saving money for this game.
looks like dog shit
+Slyme go and see your face on the mirror
Tamal Plays aw poor fanboy triggered? :)
Oh hell yes, I love this game, and I love Mack.
This will be an amazing video
Idgaf.
This could well be the first RPG I 'finish' since Borderlands 2.
see thats the point of a good game, even if its not your cup of tea you still appreciate what this game dose.
i personal love rpg and have been waiting on a good rpg for years. got around 23 hours into this and not even close to quarter the way in spent my time learning to fight and hunt.
you need a boar? ill get you one while drunk. that what 5 hours IRL time trainning to hunt dose to you xD
love this game so much.
this is what an RPG should be.
Thx for the tip! did not know :O
Yep you need 2 Belladonna and 1 nettle, just learned to read last night!
ARE YOU IMPLYING MACK IS ILLITERATE?
Jk love you.
Well that text at the end is in comic sans so you never know tbh.
jk pal
Yea, you can mass produce schnapps if you want, the ingredients are dirt cheap, also you can find them in gardens and nature easy enough. When you get better at alchemy you can instantly make them without having to go through the mini-game.
Only recently discovered your channel. Been watching your old reviews and when I saw this, I bought it straight away. Reviews are always informative and funny
Same here!
Jesus Christ be praised.
I love you WAB, you do the best and most honest game reviews on YT! Keep doing what youre doing, respect
Agreed. This game is like nothing I've ever played before. Really enjoying it
Try murdering everyone in Skalitz in ironman, tons of fun because you start so weak and the AI is so good.
Thanks for putting in the hard work and hours to get this review out quickly...I wouldn't dare pay 70 aud on a game like this without a wab.
Thanks for the review Mack. I’ll probably get it when more bugs get fixed.
next patches are scheduled to be released in two and four weeks from now more or less, and then modders resources should be released so if you buy it in a month it should be much better :)
bloodygentleman I'll give it 6 months
6 months? This is not AAA industry, those guys will be way faster :D
If it's done before then, great.
I'll still wait 6 because it's not gonna disappear on me.
I agree, its a single player game so there is no rush. I might wait a year or so and pick it up 70% off on sale.
800 hours and three playthroughs in and it's still my favourite RPG of all times. Can't wait for the sequel. Your review absolutely rocks, Mack!
I'll wait for the bugs to be ironed out. Sounds great though. Bonus is that it offends the SJWs.
well it doesn't take much to offend those, try calling any of them and ask how many white and black man they have in the building.
Should be enough to make me laugh for a week.
They might actually fire someone to have equal numbers lol
Say it to an SJW in a hospital, wait outside the front door and see how many white patients get thrown out the ward ahaha
Really, the "I have black/gay friends" argument? Amaaaaaazing
ur absolutely spot on mack... i got this a week ago and im in love. everything u said about it was spot on. it's basically Thief + Morrowind + For Honor
Best rpg since morrowind? Four words buddy: Divinity Original Sin 2. It's simply the best rpg ever made.
Love that.
Looking back, this game is a masterpeice
Can't believe you didn't praise about how its 1st person only and there is no fkn radar.
Just played Metal Gear Survive....I almost wasn't a gamer anymore because of that stupid game! Now I watch this video and I'm returning into a gamer again.
I hv seen like 4,5 reviews of KCD, this is the best one yet. I was waiting for Mack's opinion.
Same
This game reminded me of old rpgs, combined with the sometimes mind-boggling possibilities of modern day technology; the potion crafting alone is a piece of art...
And to be able to fight off some bandits or hitting that long range bow shot after hours of practise is just so damn satisfying.
This game rewards the patient.
Wow Man, this the most amazing and personal review Ive ever seen.I have no idea how I did not know about this game for 5 years, so Im gona buy it now, and If the game is half as good as your review than its gona be a blast:) thx
How is it?
@@MMACinephile Great game. It takes a while at the start, cause yoiu get like 90% of the time story telling and not so much action, but speeds up later.
@@svfrisbee5443did you progress much?
Just like in real life...some characters are going to be shit. gonna get this game soon
Yup! you hit the nail on the head with this review! it is ground breaking and unlike anything else I've ever played! I love how fresh and immersive it feels - takes me right back to my first play through of morrowind, not knowing where to go, what to do and how to survive in a world that you're a nobody in.
The gameplay and systems are so rewards to get into, there's such a huge amount of detail and it all makes sense from a role playing and real world perspective - the charisma and persuasion stats and the way bartering works is so fantastic... lock picking is new, the combat is new, the way archery works is new... the health system and stamina system is new... the way armour can be layered and has an effect on how you're percieved by others...
this game just blows my mind with how much attention to detail has gone into the world, not just the graphics but the sysstems, items, npcs, quests... it really is an absolute triumph of a game
and guess what? no micro-fucking-transactions or loot-wanks... Praise Jesus for this game!
Can it be real? Are we really past the point of "batman-style" "combat" systems that boil down to mashing X? Please, developers, start copying this game.
No, "smash X to kill all the things" is not going anywhere,
but once every five years, adults get a game too
this is that game, we'll get another in 2023
Wrong attitute. Devs should notcopy this. They should be inspired by this and use their own creativity. We don't want all games te be the same eh?
Tom Hello Clown Pepe will you please come to my birthday party?
You can hear in your voice how much you like this game. I love that passion.
Sounds like Oblivion's lvl system is making a comeback,.. man i liked that about Oblivion so much that Skyrim never felt right to me,.. no matter how much i tried to like it. Bugs are there too,.. sounds like we have a winner on our hands :D
Think it's more about actually learning, not pressing a button until a number changes in your stats.
Unless you want to lvl up your vitality - stand in place and just jump repeatedly. Oblivion Athletics anyone?
Morrowind leveling system. Oblivion was just a nerfed version of Morrowind.
dzejrid YESSS I jumped everywhere! It was fucking awesome. I loved agility. That game was so god damn good.
Also pickpocket - a god-skill by any other name.
Just bought this game along with all DLC for 15 dollars CAD on Xbox one.
Best purchase that I have ever made.
"has boobs" typical Mack haha
it's the damn best Henry Simulator on the planet, and a vey very VERY fine RPG :)
this is RPG... no.. this is GAME done right!
Don't know if someone else said it but the Schanpps (or however its called) can also be crafted with Alchemy I believe. You just need a recipe.
Subscribed... love your commentary on these games... I could listen to you describe them all day! Well done!
For me after 9 hours its 10/10 game
Erik Veles seriously???? Why?? I don’t get it. I’m 20+ in and it’s just “meh” for me.
maybe its not your style
Erik Veles. 10/10 without the bugs of course:)
85 hours in. It gets ten bloodshot eyes out of ten.
Save has been improved and almost all bugs are fixed. I haven't come across a bug in ages.
This game is simulation first, game second. Highly recommended.
There's an infinite save mod out now.
Very useful.
One of the best games I’ve ever played
What a fantastic review. Couldn't have been any better. Honest and well informed.

Tremendous Game 🎮 and they must have Optimized this title, Runs & Looks Great 🖥
Hands above the head slow clap. Only youtuber that tells it like it is.
Yojimbo plz tell me this comment isn't serious.
Boycotting this games as it doesn't represent Apache Helicopters
Don't worry, it will be modded in. ^^
Eh close enough right?...

...same century at least...good enough for tumblr I guess
Nice straw man. The circlejerk continues.
Can't wait to play more.
how is it? :D
@@lv99redchocobo37it’s great and new one coming out
This sounds simply magical, if only I had the cash! I guess at least I can just say I'm waiting for patches to make myself feel better but still : (
You and me both buddy, i feel ya pain.
the devs said that theres a patch coming out in a few weeks that will fix some of the more annoying stuff like lockpicking and adding a save and exit so at least you wont have to deal with some of the more annoying things if you wait lol, dont get me wrong though its a great game ive had a great time playing it.
Just grab it on torrent and if you feel bad buy it later.
I actually pirate a lot myself, 99% of the time I either delete in two hours and never think about the game ever again or delete and buy the steam copy. Piracy isn't always just stealing money out of the devs pockets.
Road You're like a peasant
Brilliant review. I've seen a lot of game reviews, this is one of the best. Very comprehensive in terms of what this game delivers.
Replayed this once again and it stole my entire week once again. Still a phenomenal game and I really hope to hear more about the sequel soon
i like the way you summed up the pro's and cons at the end, good idea
i got this game for free and its honestly the best game iv played in soooo long.
Just bought this yesterday and I'm really digging it. Cheers on the reviews homie you a real one.
All worlds with persistent NPCs I think. Not many games do that. It’s what makes these games so immersive.
One of the best games I've ever played. Thank you for the recommendation Mack!
This just popped up in my YT feed randomly in 2023--this is the video that made me a subscriber. Good times.
ok im impressed. And i played Gothic when i was a kid :P That says alot.
Haha, that indeed says a lot
Like every Slav
I loved Gothic 2, is it quite similar?
Thanks.
Love this game. My favorite of all time. Great video.
I love that the 15th century Bohemian priest has the voice of a resident of 21st century South Park.
Yeah, I would also have liked if the combat was like Chivalry's (having played it for 700hours I've mastered it), But I feel like they have done an amazing job at making it realistic, despite some God awful animations.
People actually cover themselves with shields! What is this sorcery?!
Ah yes Chivalry, the best medieval combat game where everyone spins and jumps around like retards...
Oh yeah imgur.com/a/vNGZg
transylvanian The only thing the combat in KCD and CMW have in common is the fact that both swords...
I disagree.
And, after all this problems, that announcement to block is bugged sometimes and at some enemy's it's not showing and you just have to guess and the combos you learn is hardly something to carry over as I said, they block like masters :)
I am that sort that likes games with no saving every 5 minutes, and even if I die to some bandit camp I start over and try to do better.
All other reviews are rushed. The "I gotta be first!" Mentality prevalent lately. any review within the first 2-3 days are shit
You do realize most of those early reviewers got their early review copies of the game and probably played it through, right?
ovatone yea but 90% of them focus on non important things and look at things in the wrong way.
Omni Law I mean there is slow motion when you have to block them...
I started playing for the first time this week. It's incredible.
Same, a week ago, 100 hours in and its amazing. Only thing that I found boring is Teresa DLC.
I think the combat is hard with more than one opponent on purpose, go try and fight two people at once, you will get your ass kicked
I really appreciate your straightforward reviews. Thanks for your hard work putting this together.

As if I wasn't proud enough to be a Patreon supporter before this review, haha. Worth a LoL
Great review and spot on.
The glitches are very frustrating, so save and save again, but even with all the bugs this is an amazing, grown up game.
Just one thing worth mentioning that I didnt hear mentioned was that you can save the game at the bath house. Click on Take a Wench option and your clothes are laundered, u are healed, yr stats go back up to full and yr games saved.
but there are no black women in this game Mack :P
it's in Czech in medieval times.... obviously there are no people of color.
Yeah I know, this was a shit claim made by some retarded SJWs against warhorse studios. WB had made a video on it. I was just mocking it

:D Love it.
Installing on SSD terminates the loading screens for the small things. A huge relief
That’s a fact. I have it installed on my 2tb solid state external drive and it loads and runs so fast
I've been subscribed to you for a few years now, and this is by far the best review you've ever done. Please keep this up!
I somehow knew youll like it! And thats a good game god dammit. We support developers and they will raise this game to top tier performance vice
This is currently on Steam sale with 7 DLCs for just £6.99 until 25 April 2024.
"has boobs" Oke, worth a buy. 11/10
the best RPG i played the last 10 years, together with witcher 3 and probably mass effect 2.
I wish they could expand on it
At the start Mack calls out shitty, ignorant reviews - I assume he's talking about the horse riding, as many have said it's terrible off-road. Well, we can clearly see it's not, if only you skill up your Horse Riding Skill. Shame on lame reviewers, and well done Mack. :-)
that the problem with "i got to be first REEEEEEE" Meantilty of lot of reviewers they dont take the time to properly play the game to give it a fair and proper reveiw they rush the prolog hit 2 people ride a horse for 5mins and upload an hafe arsed video about it. sad
unlike here we get a honest reveiw simple down "its got bugs, but its a amazing game"
Really enjoyed this review - was the final thing to push me to pick up this game. Only about 10 or so hours in now but I am absolutely loving how immersed I am when I play it. Stunning stuff. Thanks for the video!
