2 options for you to ponder. 1, tilt bed up a bit and set the frame on a couple of hard wood blocks. 2, build a rack in front end of the box to support and tie down the fel. Just a thought from an old cb were space and time is an issue.
I bought a double AA trailer 14 foot dump box manufactured in Alberta, Canada . The tailgate swings down for two extra feet . Good comment about needing to tie down every implement or attachment. Even though it’s hooked up to the tractor.
It can be done. Extend bucket over post of trailer. Then lower over tongue of trailer. Back tractor on now after adjusting the pitch on the center bar. Place 4 x 4, or 6 x 6 under ramp on ground. Will load easy. Or, back trailer to bank on right of barn entrance. Load from there. It's look very easy from here.
I've had jobs where I needed my pallet forks and the bucket. So I put the forks in the bed of the truck and left the bucket on the tractor. Same with a landscape rake and a box blade. I put one in the truck and the other on the tractor. My implements, with the exception of my 9' wide disk harrows, are 6' wide and the truck bed is 8'. Even with a tool box in the bed, that still gives me a little over 6' of bed. It works nicely.
If your going far that would be the best idea to use truck to move with DUMP trailer. But here's a thing that I have been seeing. Moving around with a BIG tractor and a dump trailer and then their supposed implements or small excavator or compact tractor. But hey I get the idea of being mobile when you want to do some side hustlin' or picking up new implements and for what you are trying there it is definitely the right way. Keep up the good work!
Hey Fellas, tilting your bucket all the way down will shorten the length by about a foot. It may be just enough to fit the tractor and implement on there
You can gain about a foot, if you roll the loader fully to the down position. You do need a 16 foot trailer, if you want to carry a loader, and a rear implement.
One would hope that you would have checked the basic laws regarding equipment towing. Not only your tractor has to be tied down using the appropriate tie downs but also every attachment, even if it is hooked up to the tractor. That means the loader bucket needs to be tied down and the rear blade needs to be tied down as well.
Added a 100 dollar remote for the dump trailer raise up bed about 10 inches drive tractor on reach in your pocket let it down also a breeze for sifting gravel down a drivewav the only way to go.
Thanks for sharing. You just confirmed why I need a 16’ dump trailer. A Goose Neck so I can rest my bucket on the neck. You’re not the only 2 whose trying to win the divorce contest.

Thanks for your comments and Sounds like your trailer is solid !

I like your idea Phil. That is what I would try
Thanks Gary !

I've seen people hang the loader bucket over the front of the trailer. I don't know about that. Like you said, "Not a good idea". Thanks for sharing.
I agree
Thanks for watching
Raise the dump bed. It reduces the angle.
I still like the tractor/ trailer with implements combo idea the best. Lol
Front bucket on the back of you truck that work better.
An extra 2 ft would be perfect 👍🏻. Have a great weekend Phil 🙂🙋🏼♂️👍🏻
Thanks Luc
You also !

Yes we use chains at all those points 👍
Thanks for mentioning that
First, I would position the trailer on all that land so the ramps are on higher ground than the trailer😳
Loading on a downslope? I’ll watch w/ 911 on speed dial.

What size this trailer is ?

Glad we could help 👍 Not the divorce contest though 😂
What size trailer is that
14 foot
Are you loading it up to bring it to me?? I need a new tractor!🥴
Too bad we’re not neighbors I would let ya borrow it 😃
You could have tilted the dump bed
I always tilt my dump bed I have a remote control and bring it down when I'm in yikes
To bad you have the cylinder in front, I bring my bucket over the front of the dump trailer.
Thanks for watching and your suggestions!
You all can't be serious
It’s. DUMP TRAILER….. NOT and equipment trailer….
That explains the equipment tie downs welded on the 4 corners 😄
Thanks for clearing that up 👍
@@PetersonFarmsofNashvillePFON You mean the tarp tie downs.
