My family and I went to college with these guys. Wore their albums out. Went to hear them live numerous times and they rocked the house, might I add. Went back stage to chill with them. Real humble & cool as a cucumber dudes. The founder of the group Claude McKnight, the member who starts off "I know somebody who declare he's got it made...", is the older brother of Brian McKnight. Mervyn Warren, the member who sings "Then theirs a family that we'll just call the Greens.. '" is a genius musically & academically (his IQ is like..170) both of his parents are educators. His Father was the professor of my Public Speaking class. His Grand-father was taught by the legendary African-American Scientist George Washington Carver. The Church on the campus was named after his Grand-Father. So talented, he collaborated and was requested to partner, by the Legendary Quincy Jones, on numerous projects, notably "Handel's Messiah: A Soulful Celebration". He produced the soundtrack for Sister Act 2 & The Preacher's Wife. These guys are beyond blessed and talented. React to their songs Mary, I L-O-V-E U (All Accapella), Time after Time, Sunday's on the Way, and their rendition of The Star Spangled Banner.
Love this group. They have been active since the late 80s. Started as an accapella group and evolved in using more instruments in their discography. I think the album that this song came from had one of their first songs with instruments. If you have not already done so, check out their first vid called Spread love. There is HD version they just put out.
I love these cats. Extremely down to Earth. Arrange all their own music. The guy hitting the top note is Claude McKnight, Brian McKnight's big brother. Far Right top row.,
Baroma wasn't lying. Awesome request, and reaction!! I heard this song in a sample, on Spice Adams's IG page - and lost my mind. It is from E Jones, Beach House Summer... OMGG.
Crossing off the list….LOL @ Baroma oh thank you take 6 voice harmonizing is pure eargasm so heavenly the best in the business. I can listen to them all day exceptional request 🙏🏾🙏🏾❤❤❤❤
Braroma is 💯 percent correct as far as I’m concerned. Take 6 has always been and will always be the best a cappella group ever. Yes they mainly do 99% a cappella gospel/inspirational music. They sound just as great live. This song of course is the Scripture: Matthew 11:28-30 Simply beautiful and one of my favorites.👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
They're singing Bible verses, what Jesus said, in Matthew 11:28-30. Producer E. Jones frequently sampled Take 6, and used this on his song "Rooftop Summer". Check it out!

Thanks for that, wow
This song is so beautiful! Harmonies so clear and pure sounding...excellent request!
Again my favourite acapella group and a superb song. Great choice. All the best.
They’re mostly an acapella sextet but they do have several songs with instruments.

Their 1st 2 albums were all acapella. Also, they sing a ridiculously good rendition of the national anthem (yes, it's an acapella version)
They had other a Capella albums. "So Cool" is 🔥 and "Feels Good" are albums of theirs you MUST listen to
Listen TAKE 6 can do no wrong. This is and will always be BEAUTIFUL 🥰🥰👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿. This song features on INSTAGRAM when I'm flipping thru the videos.....
If you really want to see something, check out “Get Away Jordan” live 1988.
Very classic song 🙌🏿🙌🏿
Take 6 did a song with Stevie Wonder.
Several songs actually
Six part harmony at its best! No wonder many of these modern day groups and boy bands pattern themselves after Take 6.
These guys are great in person. If you ever get a chance to meet them. They are a breath of fresh air to humanity. Met them multiple times
These Brutha’s are Awesome!!!
Love Take 6!
They call themselves take 6 but I will give then 7🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
