Thank you. Your videos have really helped!
Thank you, I appreciate it! I assume you are referring to the 4Runner videos? I also have some other mower, snowblower, appliance etc. maintenance videos too if you are interested! Thank you for watching and please consider giving the videos a thumbs up if you haven’t already! Thank you!
Good job. It's amazing how many people put them in upside down.
Watching other clips on this it almost made me second guess me installing mine facing arrow down. The other videos didn’t specify
Thank you 😊
I wish the changeout was that easy on my Kia Sorento. I have to remove the glovebox cover, then take out a couple bolts to get to mine. Don't even need to go to the toolbox for a 4Runner.
Thanks!
Thanks for watching! Be sure to check out my other 4Runner maintenance videos if you are interested!
Thanks for your time my guy. Toyota wanted to charge me $78 to do this.
Thank you for watching! I’m glad it was helpful.
Excellent video thank you.
How long had that filter been in place?
Skippy Lippy the 4Runner was new to me when I changed the filter at about 75k miles and it wasn’t documented in the car fax that it was done before that so I can only assume it was that old. Thank you for watching and please consider giving the video a thumbs up if you haven’t already! Thank you!
This is the most confusing part. The arrow mark on the filter that you pulled out (@ 0.55 mark) points upwards. But when you put the new filter in, you had the arrow mark pointing downwards.
Sorry for the confusion one filter had an “this side up” arrow on it and the other had a “air flow” arrow which is the opposite in this case…hopefully this helps! Thank you for watching.
Thanks for sharing these videos. What year and model is your 4Runner?
Lonnie Looysen thank you for watching! My 4Runner is a 2014 but most of these videos will work for any 4Runner from 2010-2020. Thanks again!
How often should this filter be changed
Great video! But what do you do if you knock something into the fan?
Thank you for watching! If it was fairly small like a piece of a leaf or something along those lines it will probably get blown through the vent.
How come the one you took out the arrow was going up?
I if I remember correctly that one had an “up” arrow vs a flow arrow. Thank you for watching!
You know the charge $145 dollars labor for that 5 minutes of work at big cities. Ty
Thank you for watching! I’m glad you were able to save some money and time by doing it yourself!
