Portland fan here. We're super excited about Deni, and I promise you he's in good hands.
We're passionate fans who fall in love with players immediately after they join the roster.
We only have 1 more year of tanking left then Avdija will be a key part of the young core moving forward. Scoot, Sharpe, Deni, Camara, Clingan is the group of untouchable guys who will grow together. Hoping to land one more huge name in the next draft, then we'll finally try to win games again lol.
Hoping for the best with the Wizards, you guys deserve some success. I won't pretend to be a big fan of Poole or Kuzma, but I love the thought of building around Sarr, George, Bilal, Bub, and Tyus.
I'll be rooting for you, and I honestly feel like our rebuilds are in pretty similar spots.

likewise! Portland has some great players, it's only a matter of time until they get back to the playoffs.

I'm a Houston Rockets fan. I think the Wizards have made a big mistake. Portland must be delighted.

Trading Deni now was sort of a gamble, we got a good return but wouldn't surprise me if he's an all star in 2 years time if the blazers continue developing him right as Keefe did.
I still think this trade was a mistake or at least happened too early. front office has a plan and going very young now... hoping it pans out in the long run but it's definitely not a given.
Bilal's offensive game is a big question mark atm, for starters. and who knows how Sarr would develop..?

definitely a risky trade for the Wiz with Deni coming off the best season of his career. looking forward to seeing how it pans out

Dni is Elite defender . how good can you be when you have so many work on both sides of the court in a lousy team?
playing for a better roster where the responsibility is spread better will leave more energy for him to focus on defense when he needs to.
+ you tend to forget he always gourded the best offensive players of the opponent.
