- My husky Gohan and I were able to save a dog. This lab was walking the streets late at night. We were finally able to contact the owner and bring her home safe. Leave a like on this video! :)

Gohan and I were able to save this dog. This lab, Bella, was on the streets late at night. A car could have hit her. We were able to take her in and take her back to her owner. She’s safe!

She's a Labrador, she was born hungry, she will die hungry and she will be hungry every moment in between, even when she is completely stuffed!
And that is actually very sad if you think about it. Imagine being always hungry and not being able to satisfy your hunger, because some aliens bred you selectively to be this way :(. Humans also bred bulldogs and pugs not caring about their quality of life and now they struggle to even breath…
@@ES11777 True about the bulldogs and pugs (and many other breeds). Whilst the modern Labrador has come a long way from the original St John's Dog, I think the constant desire to eat is probably much older and not a result of modern breeding.
We had one once which ate the discarded remnants of someone's packed lunch. The operation to have the metal "crown" bottle tops removed from her stomach was rather expensive!
@@patdavis6383 Labradors are the only breed of dog with insatiable appetite, and a breed with the most overweight and obese dogs. There are no Labradors in the wild, so if their condition isn’t (in your opinion) the results of breeding, then what is it the result of? Humans literally created Labradors. It’s our fault they are the way they are and we need to take full responsibility. Period.
@@ES11777 Labradors aren't the only breed with insatiable appetites, many breeds have and many can become obese if their diet isn't controlled by their owners. As for there being no Labradors in the wild, that is correct, there are no domesticated breeds of dog in the wild full stop. By definition. To say that everything that Labradors are is a result of man's breeding of them is nonsensical. We started with an existing strain of dog and bred and cross bred until we got the characteristics that we wanted. We wouldn't have bred for an insatiable appetite, therefore that characteristic existed before in one of the "donor" breeds, it just came with one of the other characteristics we wanted, but it existed before all the same.
Besides, all breeds of all domestic animals have been "bred" and shaped by humans to make them fulfill a role. We bred the traits we wanted but accepted the presence of others as neither here nor there.

'She was hungry' says every person that never owned a Lab. Labs are notorious gobblers of all things delicious. They love their food, and your food, and her food, and his food.

I was thinking exactly the same thing! Chicken and carrots, a great back yard with a lake and a nice guy with a dog that takes correction well. She looked so happy.

I hope her owners take better care of her from now on. Not everyone is like this guy. THEY ARE EXTREMELY lucky he found her.

As a dog mom, this is exactly what I'd hope someone would do if my dog were to escape somehow. Thank you for doing this.
Back when I had my Golden I had to go on a week long surprise business trip so I hired a pet siting service to come to my home and look after her. I paid them extra to let her out in the fenced back yard twice a day and hang out and play with her for an hour each time. Half way through the trip I get a call from a neighbor saying that my dog was at her house.
I call the pet service and they acted like they didn't know. I explained that back yard was surrounded by a six foot tall fence... and that she had bad hips and couldn't jump up on the couch without help. Then it came out that the employee left the gate open and my pupper "ran off", to which I respond "you mean hobbled off leisurely?" cause that all doggo had in her at that point. Man I was mad. They had one job to do... and they still charged me!!!!
Plus side... I made an awesome new friend (neighbor) who offered to watch doggo any time I needed because she was retired and my pup got along great with her dogs. I always offered to pay her the same as I had paid the service but she always declined... and my pup always came home smelling like lilac perfume carrying a new toy. :)
When people follow “The Golden Rule” all is well. 🙏🏼❤️🕊

@@noahfirstark I could have, but since my kind neighbor took care of her until I got back, the only damages I could have sued for was for maybe three days of fees. Appearing in court or hiring a lawyer would have cost me exponentially more in the long run, so I didn't bother. I did, however, give them bad reviews on Yelp and other sites as well as reported them to the BBB and their local licensing agency.
She didn’t let you shower alone because you were “vulnerable” and was guarding you it’s what dogs do

Her nails are VERY long. A dog that is frequently walked naturally has short nails.
@@hothotheat3000 not all dogs, I have two sister corgis, both walk the same amount. One girl has excessively short nails because of how she walks, the other girl has to have 1-2x nail trimmings a week.

Always a good thing when an owner lets two dogs communicate without freaking out, even if there's barking and snarling involved. Bella was not gonna get agressive or anything, she was just establishing boundaries between her and Gohan, and he listened. It's always frustrating when people don't let their animals imteract and try to always control them when the dogs are literally just talking.
Exactly. They say ticks are contagious, fuck ticks let them socialize its their life. Clean the baby when it comes back home after socializing that's it. I've seen so many owners telling don't get your boi near mine it's not healthy. Some people are too disciplined and these good bois have to deal with it. There should be discipline and freedom.
For sure. It's actually pretty dangerous to pretty much train your dog to Not show warning signs and communicate properly.
And the fact he only gave Bella basic chicken and veg rather than any food she could’ve been allergic too. He clearly is a very responsible dog owner

I have a dog that was adopted from the pound, his name is Lucky too lol.
Turns out it was his last few days at the pound before he reached the time limit where they have to euthanize him. So he indeed lucked out when we noticed him

Gohan doesn't really try to assert his dominance, its too early in there meeting one another, Gohan is getting signals from his owner that he considers Bella above Gohan, he feeds her first, pays special attention and he feels left out in my observation. Around the 4:28 Gohan is now challenging Bella, saying MY HOUSE, MY HUMAN, MY FORRD, BED and TOYS ! Gohan isn't bothered by the snaps from Bella, in fact he repeats his attempts to assert dominance. GREATvideo,..so happy it ended well. you are very kind. I liked analyzing behavior of animals, or people and how they interact.
