- Hey book besties! It has been a very long time since I have posted a wrap up, and I read so many all-time favorite books that I wanted to film a reading update. I save my two favorites for the end. I hope you enjoy my yapping! Let me know how your reading month went.

I read 8 books in the month of May. In this reading wrap up I had a lot of 5 star reads and read a lot of romance (one being a popular booktok book). In this video I review each of the 8 books and give my thoughts with my ratings for each book.

I read monstrillio earlier this year and I LOVEEEED it!! i think about it often, the aspect of grief in that book really stuck with me. I also agree with why you didn't enjoy yours truly because same girl, the miscommunication trope was driving me crazy lol i've also been wanting to read talking at night and as someone who also loved normal people (both the book and show!) i'm definitely picking it up soon!!
omg I had noooooooo idea you also uploaded content on youtube. now I have better access to you talking about books while I work.
honestly a bad idea anyway because I will read anything you enjoy slash love.
Your taste in books is elite ! Love your recommendations so much , also loving the more frequent uploads ❤️ I bought talking at night this week !
I appreciate you ❤ I’m working on a posting schedule for UA-cam to stay consistent (or at least try). Let me know what you think of the book! It is a bit slow in the beginning but push through because it’s so worth it
Thanks for the great recs!! I'm not much for romance books but my mom is and I'm always on the hunt for good deep love stories for her😊
❤📚❤️ I've added Talking at Night. Thank you!
I own One Day, I've had it a long time, but I haven't read it yet. I didn't even realize Netflix had a show!
I found out about it because I saw everyone making reaction videos to before and after they watched the show on Netflix. Curiosity got the best of me and I wanted to see what all the crying was about 😅
I found you on TikTok the one with gothic books recs! I also found out you have UA-cam I immediately subscribed and binged all of your videos! Love your taste in books! My favorite of the months are vampire of el norte, slewfoot , the beautiful ones & wellness by Nathan hill!
Ahh thank you!
@@athenasatheneum it’s so difficult I love them all! Umm go for wellness by Nathan hill since it’s literary fiction!!
I just love your taste in books! Finished Talking At Night last week, and cannot stop thinking about it: "I wish I had done everything on earth with you..." 💔
That quote in the beginning has been haunting me. I already want to reread it 🙃
@@athenasatheneum It's just so perfect! And me too. Want to go back and tab/annotate! I'd recommend the audiobook (narrated by Emma Appleton)!
Part of Your World is the best Abby Jimenez book, by far.
I would love to see more gothic books recommendations please! I’m reading Rebecca for the first time based on your review! Loving it so far
Ugh I wish I could read Rebecca for the first time again. I can definitely make a video with some gothic book recs in the future! I am working on adding more to the list

St swithins day❤
Great books! I’ve done a summer book haul if you are interested 🤗
I got so mad towards the last 20% of yours truly I just wanted it to end lol I don’t think Abby Jimenez is for me tbh
We are on the same boat with both comments. I read the synopsis for the rest of her books and wasn’t interested in any. The only good part on Yours Truly was Jacob
I really enjoy your recommendations we have similar taste in books! The only genre I really don’t read is horror but I love literary fiction and literary fiction that has love (in all its forms). 🤍
I was going to watch One Day on Netflix. I didn’t know it was a book though. Would you recommend reading the book first?
