The engine is a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V-8 with a hot-vee arrangement, producing 789 horsepower and 538 pound-feet of torque. The engine can rev to 10,000 rpm and has a maximum boost pressure of 20.3 psi. The Temerario's power is channeled through an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, which is lighter than the Huracán's seven-speed dual-clutch unit and shifts faster.
