This sir is a Jeff Lynne/E.L.O. masterpiece. One of so, so many. To choose one over another is tough but.... give "Tightrope" with arguably the best intro ever or "Shangri-la" with arguably the best outro ever, both from the same album as "Living Thing" a reaction. 👍😍😊
' Turned to Stone' live ... is fire... and the dudes voice is right up there with the best in music.
Yep - I still remember all the "fast" lyrics in the bridge... lol
Omg ELO was a huge band in my day and I had all their 8 tracks lol, it's so funny 40 yrs later my granddaughter picked me up and she was playing this CD in her car. I love we have 3 generations me, my daughter and now my granddaughter all love the same music.
Thats wonderful. Well done , your girls have good taste. ( its in short supply)
I've always felt like music saved my life, coming from a very abusive home with a mother who always told me she never wanted me and would throw me in a very cold dark cellar where I would sing the hole time to beating me with a board with nails in it and not being able to have any emotions at all. Music would take me anywhere I wanted to go and in private I could have any emotion I wanted, it was very important to me to expose my children to music so I always had music playing all day and took them to concerts and now they do the same for their children and my son plays guitar. Music for me means so much more the someone singing with a band behind them.
I played this on a juke box in a bar on Tucson's 4th Ave. They were into the smoky nasty southwestern dirty blues down there, and by the way you should hear Greyhound Soul.
The bartender said, "I love Electric Light Orchestra. They make me happy."
They are crazy good
I'll massively agree with the call for Showdown. But my absolute favorite album of theirs, even deserving of an album reaction, is their masterpiece album Eldorado. Perfect record.
This is not just a great song, It is an equally great reaction to it!
Thanks fam 🙌🏿
By the way if you ever get an opportunity you need to watch the UA-cam video of them singing this because you can really get a good glimpse of all the instrumentation of this song!
Probably is my favorite ELO tune - followed by the 2 women songs - Sweet Talkin Woman and then Evil Woman
ELO! They're so tremendous and somewhat underrated. I echo the comments of others. You gotta check out Turn to Stone (and Mr. Blue Sky).
The genius of Jeff Lynn. He can write it, play it, sing it and produce it.
Jeff Lynne is a musical genius
" Evil Woman " is my favorite from ELO
✌🤘♥️
Really good one. I can still hear my mom singing alone with that one.
Mr. blue sky, rock ‘n’ roll is king, telephone line from my favorites. Jeff Lynne part of the traveling Wilburys is brilliant
YES! Wilburys.. Jeff was a key player in that amazing "supergroup"!
Such a great band, awesome! 👍💕🎶🎶🎻🎻
ELO is so good. Idek if they have a song that I can say I don't like! 😊🥰
Strange Magic by ELO is another good one.
One of my favorite groups! You need to check out Showdown next!. That is a great tune as well. They don’t play it on the radio much but it’s a hidden gem!
This album was HUGE...Great band...😎
On this same album were two underrated gems: "Rockaria" and "So Fine"
"Rockaria" - genius & Jeff's vocals: extraordinary!
Great song, I love it and never tire of listening to it. Thanks Biz!
Great great band, vocals and instrumentation are wonderful.
My favorite song by them! Great memories! I miss the 70's!
ELO/Showdown. This song was released three times in the USA before it became a top 40 hit!
All you got to know is Jeff Lynne is a master songwriter. I am not sure which songs you have done but check them out live. He usually has top notch musicians with him.
Jeff Lynnes vocals are one of a kind. Magnificently Soothing .
Check out "Ticket to the moon", and "Last Train to London".
Ticket To The Moon is a gorgeous song, along with "Big Wheels".
their Live at Wembley from about five years ago is an aural and visual phenomenon
My high school years right there. I'm so happy that you find it as entertaining as I found it in the 70's!
Jeff Lynne - lead vocals, guitars, percussion, electric piano
Bev Bevan - drums, percussion, backing vocals
Richard Tandy - keyboards and synthesizers, guitar, percussion, backing vocals
Kelly Groucutt - bass guitar, percussion, backing vocals, lead vocals
Mik Kaminski - violin
Hugh McDowell - cello, percussion
Melvyn Gale - cello
Thats alot of people, great work
@@watchbizmatik K.C. and the Sunshine band has a good sized group as well in their band.
I love to watch you dig songs, Biz. ELO has lots of killer tunes. Lots of great memories of my younger days come with ELO. Definite harmonizing! I was excited for this one. Thank you my friend. Have a great night
🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿😁
💯 ELO's "Livin' Thing" is amazing‼
Jeff Lynne is a great vocalist‼☮ ❤ 🎶
“Youuuu and your sweet desiiiire!”
One of my favorites ❤️🔥suggest Telephone Line or Showdown live @Wembley 2018. Need to see Jeff Lynne live. ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
This is a great band, lots of good songs. Jeff Lynne is one of the best songwriters ever.
I love ELO, one of my favorite bands. They really don't have any bad songs. And Jeff Lynne is a legend himself. This specific song, along with a few others, are very nostalgic to me as well, I remember listening to them a lot with my dad when I was younger (only like a decade ago, not too long).
Evil Woman is a definite banger it's what put ELO on the charts!!
Fun Fact: Sharon Osbourne's (wife of Ozzy) Father managed ELO 😊
Thanks, Biz! Jeff Lynne was - and IS - genius.. you must also be listening to "Traveling Wilburys" right?
Strange magic. And telephone line ,. Last train to London. There are so many great songs
Jeff Lynne is fire!
ELO was my childhood!!!
Thank you!!
THis cat is in his 70s and still killing it live
ELO’s genius leader Jeff Lynne has been described as having “reedy” voice, if that makes sense. The last sounds you described are plucking violins “staccato” style. There have been many crazy interpretations of the lyrics, but Jeff said himself that is just about love.
If you want another mind-bender, try the more recent UA-cam reaction favorite Tightrope. Otherwise, there are still about 10 more radio hits worth hitting. ELO was a hit machine.
ELO Is Dope. They Take You Back To A Different Time Every Time.
Gorgeous tune for sure! One of many.
'Turned to Stone' is a must ;)
Happy to listen to ELO, they are so amazing.
Facts
Man...I think I love you lol! Singing right there with me..
Great reaction! I love ELO too! Keep going with them! Also try the Traveling Wilbur. Jeff Lynne is a member.
Great Band Hang On For The Ride !
I would suggest a few that I don't think anyone has reacted to. Across the Border has a mariachi flair to it and Prologue/Twilight has a more of a synthesizer sound. My other suggestions would be Tightrope and Fire on High.
Here’s a few recommendations
Wild West hero
Sweet Talking Woman
They’re my favourites with telephone line
"I've learned to love this band" (and he's never heard livin thing)
IT's like loving mcdonalds already but you've never had a big mac.
Time to see some 💣 videos out!
Missed seeing you! Great reaction! Your friends in northeast FL
Thanks fam 😁
Good to see you again friend. My request is "Jackie Benson always free live Austin Texas" srv tribute
Good to see ya
I told you before bro, you need to do this entire album. At least please listen to the most underrated song "So Fine."
Love, love, love E L O
WHAT'RE YOU DOING MAN, WHAT'S UPPPP!!!😊 SO MANYYYY YOU CAN DO, LET'S SEE : EVIL WOMAN, STRANGE MAGIC, SWEET TALKIN WOMAN, TURN TO STONE, SHOWDOWN 😊 SO THERE'S SOME BIZ! ( E.L.O. ) TAKE CARE MAN , KEEP GOIN
Wussup 🙌🏿
Not Too Much, Just Another Blessed Workday Biz. 🙂
Thats good enjoy fam... 😁😁🤘🏿
Love a bit of ELO🥰
Always there for ELO.
Just fire
Yes E-low I like it
🤘🏿🤘🏿
You should watch the flash mob version of 'All Over the World'.
Aren't they something else? I never heard anybody say they don't like ELO !
Showdown by ELO is excellent! c'mon now
U gotta do Showdown
Tightrope is a good song.
It’s like saying I know it’s USA but isn’t it just easier to say oosa?
Face the music. Over looked banger
(Ah, I see you have, but not this one---)
Have you done Telephone Line by E.L.O. yet? This is a great, more recent performance, at Wembley: ua-cam.com/video/XKElk9zTB04/v-deo.html
E.L.O. is a nearly lifelong top 5 favorite for me, and I'm 49. - I've also been making music with electronics, for more than 30 years, and have hundreds of favorite bands/acts.
It's so beautiful that even my piano cover sounds good, thanks if you check it out!! 🎹
Back when songs how incredible lyrics, harmonies and instrumentals
Most of the new music today in all genres is junk, IMO, sorry to say
I don't know why I don't get notifications for you. But, I don't.
Yeah thats been happening
