I know im late to the video. I have so much makeup, I bought this elf primer forever ago and just opened it and started using it lol. But this elf Power Grip primer is HONESTLY the BEST primer I have ever used. It is so hydrating and you can visibly see the smooth texture it leaves before you even apply your makeup and you can FEEL it gripping onto your makeup while you are putting your makeup on, yet you are still able to blend out your makeup! It is WONDERFUL and I don't think I have EVER said that about any primer. It is gorgeous, a fantastic formula. I will never use another primer 💯❤ 10/10 best primer I've ever owned. Oh and btw....the elf side of your face was much more hydrated and smooth. I could visibly see it. Not just under the eyes, but all over. Your skin on the elf side was glowy and SMOOTH girl. Such a beautiful primer!! I pray elf never stops making it!
I think the ELF side looked better, at least at the eye area. It creased less there.

I've tired the ELF Power Grip primer and I must say that I LOVE IT!!! I think I may like the ELF primer a little more 🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈.....I LOVE the Milk Hydrogrip primer as well. I'm DEFINITELY GOING TO buy backups of the ELF one 😊

I tried the power grip, it was definitely better than the jelly pop. It has hyaluronic acid which I absolutely love and it stays so much better on your face. I have to say I actually like the power grip better than the hydro grip, plus it's 1/3 the price ! This one is a no-brainer ,elf has done it again !
@TooMuchMouth, don’t feel bad. I have allergic reaction to different foods and that is unknown. My allergic reaction around my mouth left a mark. I used Cocoa Butter for the scar.
I’m waiting for this one because my normal but combo tzone acts weird to silicone and gripping primers ( no breakouts) but it sits in and on my face weird. Now Elf Mint Primer 🤯🔥 works wonders for my skin and in my tzone. Thanks for sharing

Nice! I might pick it up. I think they made this because the jelly was fragranced. Unless this one is fragranced also? They probably had this when jelly pop was out but not ready to bring to market. Because it would've made more sense to release it when hydro grip was out

I have the jelly pop, mint griping primer (whatever it’s called), power grip, and the Milk primer. I reach for ANY of the Elf gripping primers over Milk. Legit, I’ve gone through multiples of the Elf primers and am still on the same bottle of the Milk primer.
Finally ordered mine a few days ago so I can't wait til it gets here 🤗

The elf definitely looked better but I did notice the colour of your Milk looked a little darker like when it’s expiring or a hot climate has altered it. I live in Jamaica and I’ve seen that. So also consider opening a new one and compare because that could affect the performance.

Ooh excited for this! I love the watermelon primer under my sunscreen! I got samples of the Milk one but have not tried it. I’m also super excited for that new toner they released I’m hoping it’s just as good as the Hydrating Water Essence. I was able to use just that alone and my skin cleared up and looked like I had great skin.
Also, think they include primers in their “buy 3 skin care items get 20% off”
I think the elf side looks more blurred in the cheek profile area on your skin! I appreciate the close ups, it makes me feel better knowing someone I watch who I feel is beautiful have texture and actual skin like mine and not “perfect”

The e.l.f side looks better. It is very subtle, but e.l.f. did that.

i think that the only difference between this one & the jelly pop one is the small. to my understanding this one , the jelly pop & the mint primer are all supposed to be dupes but the jelly pop & the mint melt is technically limited edition

Do they feel the same? I have the milk and jelly pop but I thought elf’s mint melt (limited edition)was supposed to be the dupe for milk. The mint definitely has a tacky feel much more tacky than milk and the jelly pop is not tacky at all. I’m thinking about trying the new one but if it’s like the mint melt then I’ll pass because I think it’s a little to sticky
They ain't slick at this point they puttin glue in these primers. Maybe not Gorilla Glue but its definitely some Elmer's glue stick in that

@@DIYQUEENbyRienna I have dry skin and it works well for me because it makes my matte skin look glowy but im not sure it would work well on oily skin. I think it would look fine at first but you would need to touch up as your oils come through.
@@DIYQUEENbyRienna I bought it a long time ago but just finally used it! It is hydrating, I have oily combination skin. Gets oily in my t-zone and dry around my mouth and outer cheeks. My nose will literally shine. The best way this makes my foundation and powder look like skin to to people. I receive a lot of compliments.
