Hi Steve. Thank you so much for your drive to teach a lot of people working with a scrollsaw. I learned (and still learn) a lot from you. Stay healthy. Greetings from Holland. Dirk
Thank you for the work and the time it takes for the emails and videos you send out and produce. Most of my patterns I design and draw out the old fashion way...by hand. Your work inspired me to be more creative like I was 60 years ago as an art major in high school. Four years ago, when my wife gave me a DW788 for Christmas I did print out a few of your patterns to get me started. That was a HUGE help for a newcomer to the hobby. I still enjoy receiving your emails with the patterns. I look forward to them every morning! You have helped the hobby so much! Take care and Happy New Year to you and your family!!!
Thank you Steve for the tutorial. I've downloaded inkscape, it seems Cooper Black was already on the list of fonts to choose from. However it will only allow me to use a regular font at 144 pt. I am very new to this program, I successfully followed along with your tutorial, however I would like to use bold and 200 pt as you instructed. Could you help with this?
Hi Jeffery. For this type, of stand-up puzzle I use 3/4" thick wood. Just about any species of wood can be used. If you want tight-fitting pieces then use a #3 or #5 scroll saw blade. Welcome to the hobby.

Hi Dirk. I appreciate the kind words. I get way more than I give. I have met great people all over the world and that is pretty special.

Merci beaucoup. 👍
Great idea. My wife would love it. But her name is Tristi. What do I do with the dotted "i"s? I suppose I'd just make the letters all capitalized?
Just move the dot over the i down until it touches the top of the post.
Wish it wasn't the modern pagan representation of my Messiah's name. Yahusah.
