Ever wondered the difference between coffee Pulp and coffee Mucilage? Emma Sage from the Coffee Quality Institute explains the difference in this short lecture.
I guess eventually there will be a machine that will remove pulp, mucilage and parchment. The remaining beans will pass through an aggressive dryer and come out semi-roasted. Starbucks would certainly be interested in such a device.
So unless your buying your coffee beans whole roasted ,, does it mean you might be getting coffee roasted with mucilage to your dismay and the coffee producers sell as pure coffee to bulk up production??
That was very informative and cleared up a distinction I've been struggling with for months. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
I am very happy to find this lecture coffee video, thank you very much.
I hope you know how very useful this video is. Thank you for it.
Thanks for the feedback, Jason!
