Dude, have you ever thought about selling Tshirts that say "Hello everyone, and welcome back" in big letters. I would buy one for everyone in my family.
Joe , you will laugh at us North Carolina hillbillys, we will not go outside to grill except when it’s over 70 degrees , that means April through September
Joe, you film it, I watch it. That is the deal. If you want to film the tractor pushing snow, than I want to see the Farmall in action! If people don’t like it, they can go troll somewhere else.
Wow, Joe! Your long time subs will never tire of fried potatoes, pork steaks, chuck roasts, or snow plowing! Great score on the tractor tire chains imho! Just hope you'll splurge for a snowmobile one day for crossing the lake to The Tent!! Hope this comment finds you, Melissa, and fur babies safe and warm!!! Thankful to live in a more southern area that doesn't get as much snow as you do!!!
I have 2 snowmobiles, I have not fired them up in about 2 years. After Zach gets done with the Argo we may clean the carbs on the snowmobiles and get them running good again.
Another great video. I’ll give some advice. Warm up your hydraulics just a bit also. Way easier on the hoses and seals. Also, how wide is your bucket? Pick up a cutting edge for a skid loader, drill the holes, and your tractor bucket will thank you, your driveway will be way less icy.
Same here in Virginia. We get an inch and everything closes. Of course we get that nasty freezing rain instead a lot of time. I'd rather have the snow.
Great video Joe....looks cold!....I said this on the other UA-cam page and I’ll say it here....where you go we go!...You videos are always entertaining and inspiring...Ohhhh and you and Melissa ever want to come to Nashville....say the word....would be our pleasure...
We have had this Winter alone 60 year record breaking lowest temps, danger to life snow, and all that after suffering three of the worst winters on RECORD in the past 9 years, Global Warming ? Media and 'Payroll' Scientists cannot maintain that pre-rehearsed bull any more so now they are calling it Climate Change !! Makes me laugh, lately there was snow in Florida, look it up here, IMO the winters are getting colder !
I lived in the Fargo, Moorhead area for 6 years, 1964 - 1970. I attended and graduated from Fargo South High School. Some of the best memories of my life are there. I also lived in Minnetonka for about a year. The people of North Dakota and Minnesota are among the best in my opinion. I now live in Alabama. I’d love to come back and visit sometime....in the summer. It was my job to remove the snow at my house, mind you, on a much smaller scale. That part I don’t miss at all. Love the Tent videos.
Boy that tractor sure makes it a lot easier than using that snow blower!! Could you imagine how long it would of taken to do all that with just the snow blower!! Of course you were using it before you got the tractor, but that is a lot of snow there! You are like me Joe, snow won't keep us from fixing a steak on the grill, no matter how much or even how cold it is. Thanks for sharing, it was relaxing listening to that old tractor putting along. Juddie - J & J TOA
We are discussing that or maybe moving a different one in. It is not the trailer that is the problem so much as the fact that it is 70 feet wide sitting right to left. It cuts off the entire view behind it. If we could get one in sitting front to back instead of side to side it would be a much better in my OCD mind.
It's getting time where my old plow truck has about had it..I was thinking of getting a tractor like Joe here for moving snow..But now that I see him freezing sitting on that Farmall while plowing..I think I might find another truck to plow with..With a nice warm, dry cab. lol Great video Joe.
I reckon you are thankful for the day you purchased the Farmall as the amount of time you would have had to move snow with the snow blower would have been a challenge for even you Joe stay safe and warm cheers NZ.
It sounds like you guys are up by Cloquet. We are living in Oregon , spent the first 35 years of my life in Brainerd Mn. ( Actually Crosslake ,north of Brainerd. ) Had a good friend who was the company pilot for Potlatch in Cloquet. Unfortunately he died in a plane crash just short of the Cloquet airport on a stormy day. That was back in the 80s, still miss my friend. )
Just watched the winter tent trip earlier. Now I get to watch you on the M. Awesome vids. Last week I was bass fishing in Texas with temps in the 70’s.
From steamy, stormy Sydney, Australia at a mere 27C today looking at 36C tomorrow...watching you driving through and pushing snow around is like a holiday at the icerink :-) Thanks for a fun view. Take care and stay warm.
Really enjoy what you can do with that tractor. You are very good with all the chores. The only thing I don't like is, NO one has invented a computer monitor that will serve those fabulous meals you cook for me to eat at the computer. lol . Keep filming as we enjoy them. Thanks for taking time to film and share.
Hi Joe. It occurs to me that the old Tractor is every boy's dream. I'm sure you enjoy getting out there and traveling around on that old thing. Enjoying the old videos again.
Beautiful scenery, but I could not live with all that snow on a full time basis. I live in Texas and we rarely get snow and never get that much of it. It sure is pretty though...
Just a bit of advice on a two wheel drive... Most folks in our area that have those style tractors that are lucky enough to have a three point hitch, we take a 55 gallon drum (steel or plastic) and we cut it in half, then we take the barrel and set it on the ground between the 3 point and lower the 3 point all the way down or just a bit above half of the barrel, then make a mark on each side of the barrel and then cut a hole for the hitch bar to slide all the way through (can get another one from Fleet Farm or Tractor Supply) and then fill it with concrete, be sure to put a rebar hook or chunk of chain in the top in case you have to move it so you can use the loader to lift it. This will give you so much extra traction and really make the chains very effective..we have been doing this on the farm for years.
Here in Delaware, I just make sure I go out and start up Kubby Kubota every few days, especially when we've had single-digit overnights. That said, the snow & ice coming in here just means I can't invite my tree service guys to come and dump wood chips this week for the Back-to-Eden garden
Honestly, half the video I didn't watch. I just closed my eyes and listened the Farmall engine running. Brought back a load of great memories. Thanks for that.
I guess snow is just as good as water for the ground? When it's melted, it turns into water? I love Florida but interesting to see how people live in this kind of climate.
One more thing. U film whatever u want I soo enjoy your channel. I look forward to what’s next. So keep them coming as your channel is my number one favorite. Thanks for making them. Much appreciated
Aren't you glad to have bought "Clifford the Big Red Farmall" for this season? Doing the drive with that snowblower would have been insane. You could give the blower set of drift cutters if more snow is coming. Just to make the trim job look pretty. Although holding the bucket vertical and pulling the snow backwards can leave a nice looking trim too. but not on the front porch if you catch my drift. Snow fence? Kennel/Garage for "Clifford"? If you do all this then no snow next year
with all the out buildings you have there why don't you park the tractor an your pickup inside out of the weather??? it seems like you've got about 2 or 3 garages, it seems like you could at least use them
Only one of the building doors is tall enough to fit the tractor or my truck and right now we have Melissa's truck in that bay. Her work van is in the front garage. Until spring when things warm up and the snow is gone there is no way to get everything moved around. Remember, we moved in that place right before winter, there were more important things to do prior to the big freeze. We need more time.
Sometimes when I get lonely I pull up some of your old videos and this is the one I watch the most. I love to watch the snow. It’s just a beautiful sight . Reminds me of growing up in Tn. Seems as though it doesn’t bother you, it’s just go,go,go, with you lol. You enjoy playing with all your farm equipment, and I enjoy watching you. God gave you a wonderful farm and I am happy for you and Melissa. May the blessings keep coming for you.
The best way to get over missing living in the Midwest. Too many years in WI and Iowa pushing snow. Good luck. Surprised Melisma is still up there!❄️❄️👌
I like the old tractors. That guy you bought the chains from had some nice old Case tractors. My grandfather had a Case 730. Brings back memories. Thanks Joe.
If you keep getting snow you can knock the tops of those piles so that you have more room for the snow you push. A snow rake comes in handy for those roofs. Great video. I used the same snowblower in CT for 16 years before I moved. Used a JD tractor and blower in Alberta before moving to the States.
Two thumbs up for the flag. I now remember why I moved from Duluth to Southern CA. It’s wet and cloudy but will Warm up soon. I’ve got a mess of freebie tumbling lake agates for you this summer. Ill be in your area late June early July via RV.
Joe my Dad had a windshield and a canvas cab for the M I think it was called a comfort cab. It covered the engine and came back to the rear of the fenders no roof but really was warm from the engine heat.

Wow at the snow. We just got 6 new inches here in Iowa and that's too much for me. I do the same thing for my dogs in the back yard, scrape the snow down to the grass so my little dog (Havanese) can have a place to potty…..lol. The snow sure is pretty though. How is your new little house doing on keep y'all warm in those frigid temps? I agree with other commenters, never watch Joe if you're hungry. He's always cookin' up some good food. Thanks for sharing!
That house has been very nice and cozy. You could tell when it was 60 below windchill outside with the wind that she could use a little tightening up here and there and a few of the windows need to be changed out but it really has been a nice warm house.
Hi Joe it's February 10th and we've had snow for about a week and a half we've got 10 inches now it's snowing for the last 3 hours we now have 16 inches of snow but it's not bitter cold thank God it is 28 degrees and we're looking at another 2 feet tomorrow
Dude, dats a lot of snow to deal with. Use to have a big blower when I lived in Nebraska and in Chicago area. Had some big snows there to, and had to have sidewalks cleared by 9:00am.
