- The final steel beam was raised on Monday to complete the framing for a new skyscraper in New York City, which will serve as the global headquarters for JPMorgan Chase.
I will only ditch my living room if the office provides free parking..
serious question. what if these employers start sourcing these jobs from India and China if all this can be done remotely?
Jpm ain't the only employer. You get what you pay for
Excuse me but have you ever been on the phone with so called tech support in India ? Give me a break here. They can hardly speak clear English let alone understand what you are complaining about. I would rather listen to your Brooklynese . @@Gravesend83
What’s better? An office at home or having to commute to work every single day to the office. A lot of workers get their job done faster while at home. It’s really in the interests of these office landlords to force people back to the offices, so that the companies of which these people work for will pay them rent. It’s all about money for the office landlords. Not the well-being of people.
This will be the most iconic tower built in NYC since the twin towers.
This will be an iconic build. There’s still a high demand for upscale office space in Manhattan. What I don’t like about it is that it’s not as green as they say and well it’s pricing out old real estate real quick making the un affordability crisis even worse. F.
Well is so obvious this building is for reach people only so is ok to enjoy the beautiful look in the outside
Don't understand the investment, whether people believe it or not Jamie will be retiring sooner than later. Also, doing this to force people back into the office will not boost morale. Employees will only quit when another opportunity arises. This seems like a huge waste of time and money
oh boy that means we will go back to office
A BAR-B-Q REALLY with all that money spent how about a cash bonus for all those hard working construction workers I mean can you spare it risking there lives ever day and unfortunately one man lost his life a BAR-B-Q sounds exciting WOW!!!!
Best part about this building is that it’s not blocking an already legendary landmark (unlike the commodore literally right next to the Chrysler 😒)
The mayor and governor are not very smart
It's going to fall over.
Are there working on the building every day? including Sundays
Employees don't care about if it's best building in the best city best country.
As long as it's good money and no commute, a hole in the wall is fine.
If it's long hours long commute with a mediocre pay,
midtown Manhattan or midtown Juneau doesn't make a difference.
They can stay home unemployed.
Best country? Best city? Are you okay? Sure, the United States has impressive growth in the last century, but it’s far from the best. And New York? The city has been lagging behind for decades. The city peaked in the 50’s. The projects after the 50’s are just minor compared to the immense growth New York had.
If he thinks New York is the best, he should visit Singapore, both a country and a city. He should also visit Tokyo, Seoul, Copenhagen, and Stockholm to see how well their cities operate.
These guys are delusional….
They literally teared down 270 Park Avenue for this... instead of building this somewhere else in Manhattan, or gosh dang Brooklyn, like c'mon
"green building"...... Did we see some unicorns peeing on Mr, Diamonds leg? ..... Perhaps some unseen fairies with the majic green power crystals?
Ditch New York and your living room and move out to West Virginia. They've got truck drivers there.
عندما استعنت بكيار الشركات العالمية للبناء الهياكل العملاقة اصبح الوضع افضل حمدآ وشكرا لله
Such a wonderful person, that gray one.
The building is beautiful am from the city of all cities.
I just hope this thing never become a target.God bless this workers and the people who's going to work here when is open for business 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Wow!
This will turn into a white elephant.
Ah ....no . It's a bit too dark for that.
In my humble opinion money is the root of all evil.
Money is just a medium of exchange, your greed and jealousy is the root of all evil.
@@recursion. pitiful attempt at internet rhetoric. Thanks though.
Then go without it and live like the perfect angel that we all know you are.

As for me I would rather have money and not need it instead of needing it and not having it
no more work from home!
Exactly, Diamond will require an in-person presence with no excuses.
