I was surprised how limited the lite version is. From this simple example at least the following features are not available: snapping, combine and fillet. It's a nice software anyway and if needed I would get pro version. Of course as a hobbyist I won't be able to pay thousands of euros for either version. I need to do the reverse engineering with Freecad.
@@kas2999 QS lite offers the starting point which other software like Geomagic wrap, artec studio and Creaform VXModel offer the same for thousands of dollars.
Does this work on macOS using a virtual machine? I have Parallels and Windows 11, maybe I should download a trial and test, unless you have users using macOS already.
Following along, when it comes to doing the sketch pattern I cannot select and drag the circles. They are locked into place at 10mm. If I manually change the spacing number, the circle does move but it won't freely move.

I have 2024 v6.0.6 and I do not the the workspaces like yours in the video, do I need to enable it or something?

There is an arrow handle which allows you to do this on the screen.
