I’m enjoying learning about EQ along with learning the Kemper . The definitions of 100hz vs 1000hz are now finally understood at a more than basic level. The Kemper is definitely worth my time these days.
You explained everything with the Low settings sooo good, and the High settings too, what they do ect. Then on the Mid side of the guide just nothing. But great tutorial! Many thanks!!
My Kemper sounds great through the poweramp and cabinet. In the studio, the over drive and distortion sounds like I am connecting an old stomp box without a speaker simulator to the mixing console. Incredibly bad. My band no longer wants me to take the Kemper Profiler to rehearsal. I've done everything I can to. Watched every UA-cam instructional movie and r.t.f.m. I am really considering saying goodbye to the Kemper. Maybe the QC is a better option
I really agree with you. I find it over complicated. You hear all these great tones, I just want to load these sounds and very slightly tweak to my taste. I want play, not program!!! Let me know what you end up with, good luck
Like how? The Kemper is incredibly simple to get great sounds from...especially if you just get profiles from TJ or whatnot. It sounds like you're running it through a PA without the cab section on or something.
@@PackinForSuperbowl Hi JP, thank you for your reaction. I finally figured out the problem. It wasn't the Kemper and it wasn't me either. It was the sound engineer in the studio who screwed up my channel because another band had recorded in the meantime. I had reconnected everything in my own studio and there were no problems with my sounds. Then I knew enough. I mentioned this before but, you know, first they prefer to blame the guitarist for everything before they start looking at themselves ;-)
pre-amp your input signal in the amp will be eq. -> try to bring out the sweet spot of the guitar post-amp will eq the amp sound. -> try to bring out the sweet spot of the amp i normally use pre amp because sounds for me better. just try what you love

@@PackinForSuperbowl Thanx JP
H. W. I love you.
Great Video!
Can anyone teach me the sound differences between pre-amp eq and post-amp eq?
He talks about it in the 3 steps for better cleans video. It was from a month or two back.
