    After many cars using this tool, I can conclude that it's Not worth bothering with.
    Every car I've used it on has the same issue - pulling air from around the threads of the bleeder valve.
    Because of this, we get a never ending stream of bubbles and ultimately, air in the system.
    Every car we've used this on has needed to be redone with the old tried and true 2 man mathod.

    A good tip if you see air bubbles when using the vacuum bleeder is to smear some grease around the bleeder screw on the caliper so it doesn't suck air around the threads

      💯👍🏾 Preciate it

      Brake fluid that drips from the nipple on to the threads will eat up that grease. (I've tried it)

      @@strumpeteer what is your solution? I hate that it sucks in air like that

      So is pulling air outside of line non injected into the line so is safe to use

    I have just received one of these and have not yet used it, but I
    put a vacuum gauge on it and found it pulls between 23 and 25 inches of vacuum.
    That's darn good, for a thing like this.

    Awesome video, thank you for the demonstration. I just picked up this system and need to bleed the brakes on my WJ after installing a new brake booster. Now I know exactly what to do. 🤙👊

    Thanks..... I just got this which seems to be working good. As for the fill bottle, it's causing bubbles when it's filling the MC. I tried different flow rates by using the on/off lever which doesn't ake a difference. Last thing you want is air in your hydraulic lines.

    if its sucking air thought the threads,,well as long it does not go back into the system is ok,,,just tighten the brake bleeder screw while still sucking in,,,dont do it with it off,,that way it keeps sucking until its shut closed,,,why people hate this i dont know it works,,,,

    Great review of the good and bad points.

    I have found the best way to use the tool is to turn the air pressure on the compressor to the minimum on the device. Then, never use the supplied attachments on the bleeder. Only use the hose. Gob the grease on the bleeder threads and end. THEN it works.

    Bubbles come from from the threads on the nipple when you loosen it

    I bought this....and the bigger one....ended up at the end just pumping the brakes. It worked much faster.....

    Hi thanks for a excellent video, just a tip if you put your spanner on the brake nipple first then the rubber adapter on top you can lock it off before you remove the rubber adapter. Keep the videos coming 😀😀😀😀

    I wonder if you can use that to flush out the motor oil and transmission fluid

      I used mine to remove oil from my lawn mower. Never tried it on a car though.

    Need a little help. Used one like this and never got the fluid to flow. Even had the compressor on 110 psi and nothing. Sealed the threads and still nothing. Even tried those hand vacuum pumps with a gauge and it held vacuum. Pumped the brake and the brake fluid flowed out with no issue. Please advice on what can be wrong

    Would you recommend this tool to someone who only has a pancake compressor? Looking at how your larger compressor ran continuously I’m worried my pancake wouldn’t be able to keep up

    • @BlahBlahManYeah
      @BlahBlahManYeah Рік тому

      spec states 40-170psi pressure with 2CFM air consumption, which should be adequate for the most of pancake compressors. It may put few gallons compressor at stretch but not impossible to complete the work.

    Would you use it agian? I'm a little concerned about the air bubbles!

    • @fullbore782
      @fullbore782  3 роки тому +5

      I've used it several times after this.
      Here's what I've learned
      not all brake calipers have the bubble issue. some work perfectly.
      some connections need to be modified to make it work better. that plastic clamp on the hose causes the suction to be weak. just remove it in my opinion.
      The brake fluid bottle needs to be taken apart to apply Teflon tape, or else it will leak everywhere. That should have been something that the factory should have done.
      its a few little things that should have been done right in the first place that need to be fixed. but its easy enough to do.
      overall, its a good tool - just not a great tool.

    That wiring under the hood 🤮

    • @fullbore782
      @fullbore782  3 роки тому +1

      Oh yeah. It's an absolute rats nest under there. Jeep squeezed so much stuff in that engine bay that there's hardly any room for wire for custom stuff.

      Right! The second I saw under the hood I stopped the video. Not willing to hear advise if they think that wiring is ok... Start with a video cleaning the wiring up.
