    Dear full swing, you need to incorporate more slow motion videos like this one. It help a lot to me to understand because in real time, everything seems to happen almost simultaneously but in slow motion, it clearly break down every single thing from beginning to the end of the swing!

    Coach Han, 3 weeks ago I told you my backhand clears are 70% halfcourt. But now they drop about only 20-30%! Since I have more confidence of my shots nowadays thanks to your method of how to grip the racket. It is really about technique and not all power.
    My only problem now is shot selections. Rather than deciding where to attack, sometime they are "okay" but mostly my shots are random or reflex. lol
    I hope I can learn more about where to place my shots. Thanks Coach Han!

      If you are too conscious, it won't work out. If you practice enough, it will be possible one day before you know it.
      In any case, the backhand clear is used in unfavorable situations.
      good luck.

      Maybe my backhand shots are the highlight of my mind because my other friends who play longer than me (I started badminton about 1year+ now, they're longer) is struggling to do it properly. I've tried to tell them how to do it like Coach Han's teaching method but they don't want to listen to me. They just watch how the Pros do it. *sigh*

    Hello Coach...Can you tell us double strategy

  • @djhmax09
    @djhmax09 Місяць тому +1

    Doing this in singles is much harder than it is in doubles. I can do it fine in doubles but in singles the shuttle travels to the side (outside boundary) instead of straight.
    Any tips? Or am I just too slow 🦥😞?

    • @full-swing
      @full-swing  Місяць тому +1

      you're right. As the shuttlecock flies longer, force accumulates in the shuttlecock. So returning is difficult.
      It will be easier if you hit the backhand at waist height instead of the high backhand.
