I'm sure he learned the science of movements too, that's why he could transfer the in-depth knowledge so well. I have a coach for myself, but for some of the techniques that my coach shows me (not to compare training skill, mine is still a good coach). I couldn't get my head around it until I watch and understand Coach Han's sharing, it helps me change my mindset and actually help me to improve my skills a lot.
1. Legs -> waist -> lower back -> elbow -> wrist 1b. wrist movement is explained earlier in the video 2. Start the next movement before the previous movement has completed: otherwise acceleration is impacted 3. Legs are important but lower back is the most powerful part of your swing 6:28
Around 3.05, Coach Han demonstrated the right and wrong of 1,2,3. I played this part multiple times in slow speed and I still can't tell the difference!😅 Great video though! Thanks Coach Han!
Good video. Nice demonstration how to smash when the shuttle i in front of the body. Its a bit different compared to when you have make steps backwards.
Thank you very much. Can I have some questions ? 1. Can it be applied to the back-hand shot (drive, clear) ? 2. Depend on the tutorial, how can I have a stronger smash ? Shall I do the 1-2-3 swing faster ?
1. Of course. In particular, amateurs' backhand clearing is often late. This is because the timing of the racket head departure is not known. 2. This is not a tutorial for strong smashes. To achieve a strong smash, the amount of practice is important, not the method. There is no shortcut. good luck :-)
Oh, you should also mention that Coach Han was leaning on his right (racket side) leg while winding or turning back his torso. Then as he leaning on his left leg while rotating his torso and begin to extend his elbow.
Is it normal that when we do a lot of smashes (& jump smashes too) in a game, our left hip muscle feels tighter than the right one after that? I’m very happy every time I see a video containing such detailed lessons from Coach Han. I think people like Mr. Han are one of the causal factors behind the rapid development of Korean badminton. Terima kasih.
Great but will need a lot of practice i have seen all the smash videos of your but i fail to do it still this video gives hope that i will perform the swing 🙂🙂

what racket are u using coach
han as far as I understood that movement must be all one movement and not interrupt it thank you?
That’s what I’m saying 🙂

70% 700
30% 800
700 is more advantageous for drive shots and defense. 800 is also good for single matches.

The act of setting the direction in which the racket moves?
