I'm 55 today and have been playing guitar for so long. Through all these years Carlos Santana has been one of the greatest sources of joy and inspiration to me and I can't thank him enough for that. One of the greatest tone formers and musicians ever imo.

OMG this is so beautiful. sunlight on water is angels wings reflecting love. I am an artist . it took me years to figure out the math of the water patterns and then when the light shines it is magic. To paint it you leave the white of the canvas first or it will fade quickly in time. The purity is to anticipate the light and not touch God's perfection and it will turn out amazing. Any other method will cause muck and not be pure. I love pure light.
I cannot imagine a world w. someone who even comes close to this virtuoso. Plays like a god and in every note his soul is heard making love to the music he plays.
He's always been much more than a great guitarist in a great band. I don't know how long it will be before another maestro of this stature comes along .

King, Buddy Guy, Brian May, Joe Walsh, and Joe Perry as well as Eddie Van Halen, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Trey Anastasio, Jeff Beck, Mark Knopfler, David Gilmour, Angus Young, Slash, and Tom Morello later on, Carlos was the one who always made it look easy.
my favorite artist of all time carlos is the man i'd like to see anorher guitarist blend so many different styles of music and make it work santana has always been the most versatile band on the planet case closed .

There is something about your tones dear Carlos, something up close and personal. I feel sometimes that I have heard some of your tones somewhere, but I dont know where!?😍 especially when you perform the “Curacion” here & you actually pray before your performance I think God helps you to play the instrument with certain confidence that every note is gonna sound perfect. I do not know any guitar player with @ this level.
It's very interesting how the Spanish word Curación, translates as "Healing", in the English language. The "healing" frequencies are in the mid 400 HZ range. EXACTLY where this song sits. Because this song is far and away, the single most calming, soothing and relaxing song, in my mind.
Just witnessed this yesterday...forgot the name of it and here comes Carlos and guess what CD I had playing yesterday...Santana with evil ways samba pa ...Oye como va... persuasion...I know you know which one I mean I handpicked it after two hours of looking and not answering the call phone so that's good stuff...
