Fixing the 'Clicky' Brakes on the Mitsubishi Colt Ralliart with Wilwood Superlite Calipers

  • There is much I like about the Wilwood bakes and the Endless CCRg pads on the front of my Z27AG Colt, but clicking noises with stopping, starting and turning slowly that had developed with wear was not one of them. We got a workaround (jump to 2:11 for this) but I suspect ultimately there may be better management options.

    You can bend out the scuff shims to fit a bit tighter

      No shims. But I have thought of making some.

      @@rcoltlyf not shims but the stainless hardware on the side of your calipers where the weld you added would contact the pad you could bend them a bit

      @@AnsonSuperSports Pretty sure there is not hardware there - just the meat of the caliper itself.
