Thanks for the interesting videos. I always have a thing for Japanese traditional toys and have been to Kurashiki 4 times but did not find this museum. Must return!

I really like this video. I think is a part of Japan that rarely is known. I love the mask and toys. Thank you for the interview and show us this wonderful place. Also I can practice the listening 😊

Another great video! Plus, it is great for Japanese listening practice.
The design of the monkey that climbs the pole when the wind blows is ingenious!

Love this museum. I love japanese toys kokeshi n geisha dolls etc. Is it possible to show a video of japanese geisha doll making n how they are made. Iv seen hina matsuri doll making in one of the videos but x geisha dollmaking. Also the making of these dolls during the 1930s n 40s. Thank u so much.💮💮

Fantastic video. Thank you. My Father was stationed in Japan on a Medical ship during the Korean war. He brought back many toys like these. I grew up with them as a kid and started collecting them myself as I got older. Not very easy to do in the US. Impossible now. A couple of ideas for videos - I have a strong interest (and a small collection) in Post War Japanese Pop music - 1940s; 50's & 60a. The records, the artwork on the sleeves and the music. That might be an interesting topic. The artists; the studios and the companies that produced them. Also, the factory that makes Isamu Noguchi's Akari Light sculptures - still by hand, might be very interesting and along these lines. Thanks again.
