crafting mod + enemy multiplier and randomizer is probably the most insane fun i've had with bl2 in ages

i like how you always improve on your videos, from the base lvl (showing off stuff you got last stream), to finding entertaining ways to include the map or simelar. :D
I want to make sure it is fast paced and easy to understand the progress with the small transition scenes.

@@Rougrou1597 yeah obviously it was planned and scripted, but the survival techniques and skills it highlighted are real, and they actually did go out into the wilderness and survive out there. Just because it's planned and scripted, doesn't mean that they weren't actually out there surviving. Grylls wasn't out there eating snacks behind the camera or anything. Not to mention the film crew and how tough those episodes are to film. That show is a great achievement, and just because it's scripted and planned, that doesn't invalidate the point of the show.

A knife. It can be used as a weapon and a tool. Just it’s utility alone will save your life more that you realise.
Can be used to turn a small branch of a tree into a spear. Which then can be used for fishing. The shavings can be saved to help start a fire so you can cook that fish after likely gutting them with the knife.
more like a Unbreakable Survivalist(tactical?) Knife then again a knife could be good to make more thinks similar to a knife hence the spear mention in the previous reply
Great job from the devs and model/texture/animation people, that all these parts that are not meant to be coupled still work fine together. Also other than the strange reloads they don't look out of place (part joints, textures, all look fine).
The part of love about this mod and you showcasing it is your creativity AND seemingly infinite possibilities of how you're going to be able to try to synergize these weapons and parts and abilities of them. So fun:)
a pallet of pallet wrap rolls. You can make lenses out of them and they stick to itself. I think I could survive with that.

This is such a cool mod, It brings so much replayability to BL2!
Mission items huh... leave it to Joltz to find a way to break the mod xD. Well before I get to work on a fix for that, if you haven't seen I've updated the mod which should fix the bug causing weapons to sometimes revert after saving with the Sanity Saver mod. It also lets you salvage the textures from weapons and apply them like a skin.

Such a cool addition to the game. I hope I don't sound to people, but I feel crafting definitely takes the rush away from getting rare items. I don't blame anyone who don't want to farm. You've all seen what it takes sometimes if you're watching Joltz. Making Jakobs elemental is great too
id love to see this mod go into the OP levels, seeing how fast you can clear with absurdly broken gear and especially a 98% sham

Qotd: a really good machete. An all around good tool to split, chop, hammer and pry with. In a pinch tie it to a stick to make a spear.

QOTD: There's a book called How to invent everything by Ryan North. It's just about how to invent everything. Although it assumes you have resources so idk if it'd work on a desert island 🤔

Joltz!! First time in a while catching an upload relatively early because of weird work schedule. A few weeks ago you asked us what our favorite joke was. I know I'm a bit late, but here's mine, from Mr. Norm Macdonald.
A moth goes into a podiatrist's office, the podiatrist says. What's the problem?
The moth says, where do I begin with my problems? Every day I go to work for Gregory Vasilovich, and all day long I toil. But what is my work? I am a bureaucrat, and so every day I joylessly move papers from one place to another and then back again. I no longer know what it is that I actually do, and I don't even know if Gregory Vasilovich knows. He only knows that he has power over me, and this seems to bring him much happiness. And where is my happiness? It is when I awake in the morning and I do not know who I am. In that single moment, I am happy. In that single moment before, the memory of who I am strikes me like a cane and I take to the streets and walk in a malaise here and then there and then here again. Then it is time for work. Others stop asking me what I do for a living long ago. For they know I will have no answer, and will fix my empty eyes upon them, and they fear my melancholia might prove so deep as to be contagious. Sometimes in the dark and the deepest dark of night I awaken my bed and I turn to my right and with horror I see some old lady lying on my arm. An old lady that I once loved, Doc, and whose flesh I once found splendor and now see only decay. An old lady who insults me by her very existence. One stock when I was young I flew into a spider web and was trapped and in my panic I smashed my wings till the dust flew from them but it did not free me and only alerted the spider. I looked down and saw that in my escape I had taken with me a single strand of silk, and at the end of the strand was the spider who was scrambling upward toward me. Was I to die high in the sky where no spider should be? I flew this way, then that. Finally I freed myself from the strand and watched as it floated earthward with the spider. But days later, a strange feeling descended upon my soul Doc. I began to feel that my life was that single strand of silk with a deadly spider racing up it and toward me. And I felt that I had already been bitten by his venomous fangs, and I was living in a state of paralysis as life devoured me whole. My daughter Alexandria fell to the cold of last winter. The cold took her, as it did many of us. And so my family mourned. And I placed on my countenance the look of grief, Doc. But it was a masquerade. I felt no grief for my dead daughter, but only envy. And so I have one child now, a boy whose name is Stefan Mikhailovich Smakovnakov. And I tell you now, doc, with great and deep shame, the terrible truth: I no longer love him. When I look into his eyes, all I see is the same cowardice that I see when I catch a glimpse of my own eyes in a mirror. QOTD: I know it’s goofy, but a bladed gun for knifing which is flame element and is possible to kill a bear. Water is a bit hard but you can do that rocks to sand trick. Shelters easy just cut up logs. Heat is easy because incendiary. Food is decent because I can just kill the animal then cook with the gun. That’d basically all and I can use the barrel for tying ropes (if I make any)
I have never heard Joltz say "mid" in my life
Hatchet. Tool, weapon. Can make shelter, fell trees if needed, clear plant-life, open coconuts, help make rope from fibers. You can subsist almost entirely on coconuts if needed.

QOTD : I would bring a campfire set that has a flint a pan and the other stuff to make a fire since a lot of people dont know that making fire out in the wild is actually extremely hard without a lighter/lighter fluid
I wonder if a mod that edits how legendaries spawn would be good (like how in BL1 some pistols would spawn off of a special barrel and some off a special receiver so you could get Hybrids, something like that like the Harold dropping from a cylinder and the Maggie being tied to its barrel)

QOTD: I'd probably take a survival knife with the paracord grip and empty stash in the handle. Dunno if I could pull a stranded scenario, but I supposedly got a good survival score in the outdoor wilderness class back in school.

QOTD: it honestly depends on what is on the deserted island. Are there trees? Any fruit bearing plants? Animals? All that would dictate what I bring. Though I’d likely bring a multi tool for the versatility of it. Or clingwrap to make a rudimentary water catcher
Eyy, I was going to also say it depends on the island, but I defaulted to a Swiss army knife cause I couldn't quite think of a way to say what you did. Well said.

QOTD: A pallet of duct tape. I've seen Mythbusters, so it's all I need.
I would bring a desalination device (straw, evaporation/condensator or something along that line). The human body can last 3-5 days with no fluid intake before severe symptom onset (if starting at a hydrated state) while the body can go without food much longer (depending on body fat index or BMI). Everything else could be addressed in some way shape or form. Proper hydration is the most important issue to address in this scenario. A majority of the patients I see in my student training at the hospital have to do with issues relating to fluids. Hyper/hypo-tension, dehydration, pneumonia (especially with fluids in the pleural space) and the many other issues that do with volume abnormalities.
If its an endless supply, honey. Honey is the only food that can provide all your nutrient needs. If not, than an all purpose knife. Never underestimate a good camp knife in a survival situation.
QOTD probably a full tang fixed blade survival knive preferably one that comes with a flint rod hanger attached to it so i can make a fire and cut small logs and hunt for food

QOTD: simple, a cooking pot, dehydration will get you before hunger does, and id prefer a way to boil water.

Seeing you using this mod made me dowload it to have fun too but I think I got a problem with the mod, I don't know. I wanted to try out the Infinity Judge you've done in the first day but every time I save & quit the game to come back right after to do some skip, the fusion just transform into a new Judge for no reason, making the Infinity part dispawn
I've got this problem with other thing, like trying to create a fire Jakobs. It work until I save&quit ans once I jump back into the game, it's no more a fire Jakobs

Duck tape. Mythbusters did a whole episode on that question and way duck tape is the best option
If you use the grog in this mod would it randomise the parts of the weapon everytime like it normally would or would the gun break?

Funny thing, I guess, is that even if you're not allowed to use it to escape then you could still use it as shelter. Just prop it up and use some rocks to keep it in place.

QOTD a knife. Its simple and with just a single knife you can do a lot. Making fire, catch and cut fish or just help with wood that is around to make a spear. A knife is one kf the best you can have for survival.
They should make this mod official for the next BL. It fits so perfect.

Have you considered doing challenge runs like allegiance and single weapon playthroughs on mods like azure lands and other ones like that?
