You really don't want to see it believe me. But you can imagine a line of people waiting to be killed with a knife over the barrel and be hold leaned over it until blood stop filling it out. One by one waiting, watching it what was about to happen to them. You also can imagine a pregnant woman with theirs belly's wide open, still alive, watching their baby taken out their belly's and trowed up in the air to came back down to a knife, still alive. You can imagine a tournament of strong people competition in who will kill more old, weak and sick man, woman and children. You can imagine all of that but you probably won't believe it or you can not comprehend that. You can also try to understand that animals like nazis were disgusted with that and even tried to stop it. After all of that and after the war, USA, England and Vatican helped them to run away around the globe and live their best lives. Serbs were banned to even talk about it and forced to live again with them in a same country. Again in 92' West helped them to destroy the country once again along with Bosnian Muslims, Mujahideens. Once again they played football with Serbians severed heads and USA, England and Vatican tried to put genocide on Serbian back because of that. And finally they finished with bombarding Serbia 99' because Albanian muslims repeat all of that on Kosovo. Now you can understand why USA, England and Vatican now with all of their NATO satellites pump weapons to Bosnians, Albanians and Croats today, every day and don't be surprised when you hear on mainstream media in close future that Serbs planning "new genocide" and need to be bombarded again.
Yes, modern day Croatia is actually very proud of their WW2 heritage, they have lots of politicians in their Parliament who are neo Ustashas. Even their first president after they gained independence from Yugoslavia Franjo Tudjman stated that his goal was to make the Serbian population disappear from Croatia. There is even a recording of Tudjman saying this, it's available on UA-cam.
This about the camp for children is very questionable and debatable. The actual number of victims in Jasenovac and the total number of victims from the Ustasha regime were also questioned. What is indebatable is the fact that the NDH was a quasi-state in the service of Hitler's Nazism.
@@fromdalmatia8721The children camp is not debatable and it is proven and well documented. The official number of the people that perished in the camp is debatable, but it was widely accepted as 700.000. The number is from official Yugoslav Estimates from that time. Have in mind that the estimates are from SFRJ and were not ethnically biased and were done post-war by the state commission for the investigation of war crimes. The numbers started changing after the 90s when Croats were claiming they were 80.000 (since that’s how much are confirmed without a doubt by name) and Serbs started claiming over a million… and no, i’m not biased, i’m Macedonian

The article recalled an anecdote told by Curcio Malaparte in his book Kaput, in which Poglavnik had a tray with Serbian eyes on his desk. Pavelić maintained that they were not Nazis, as was said, but patriots and anti-communists. It is interesting to recall the aforementioned anecdote, when Curcio Malaparte, as a correspondent for the Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera, toured the war fronts throughout Europe during World War II. After returning from Russia, tired and exhausted, in the late summer of 1941, he saw Poglavnik again in his office in Zagreb. On that occasion, a wicker basket with a half-open lid to the left of Pavelić’s desk caught his attention. He thought he saw a large number of sea oysters without shells in it, so he asked if they were Dalmatian oysters. To his astonishment, the Croatian Fuhrer responded by taking out a handful of what he said was a gift from his loyal Ustashas, twenty kilograms of human eyes

A Story for All Time - Jama The Bones of Martyrs in the Ravni Dolac Pit This is not a story for everyone's stomach. But it is for everyone's heart. This is a story that not many people know. And it is almost eighty years old and it is before you not because of an anniversary. But because of… the heart. It begins in Livanjsko Polje. Southwest Bosnia, somewhere between Dinara and Golija, when you look south and north, or between Tušnica and Šator when you look east and west. Hm? Didn't they teach us where what is in geography? Okay, let's try it like this then. My grandmother was born on the Orthodox holiday of Ognjena Marija. I went to school Ivan Goran Kovačić. Apparently, they have nothing to do with each other, except that the famous IGK wrote his most famous work, about Ustasha crimes, "The Pit", precisely because of the crime that occurred on Ognjenja Marija in 1941. In the area of Livanjsko Polje, the Ustasha killed over 1,500 Serbs in 1941 alone. Mostly women, children and the elderly. But these were not executions. On the contrary. They threw 218 living people into the Ravni Dolac pit, 46 meters deep. And then they threw large stones and rocks at them, because the screams, by some miracle of a few survivors, could be heard from the depths. And then they threw bombs at them. There were many children there. And many women. Even three pregnant women. Some of those thrown, broken, disfigured, somehow remained alive. Darkness. Only a glimmer of light from above. Up there, where death began. One could not live from the pain. From the groans of the survivors, only. From the fall, from the dead around them, too. And yet, they remained alive that day, several dozen of them. In agony, but alive. But their death throes were heard, more and more, more often. Those who could move began to lick the wet rocks, so that the day after the throwing, July 31, they would at least regain some strength. Some boys, no older than eight, decided to pee in one of their shoes, and then tried to drink. They died among the first of the survivors. When they saw the light from the top of the pit, they would know that it was day. So they called out, helped, asked for help. There was no one to hear them. Then they soaked the pieces of clothing taken from the dead, and pressed them against the walls of the rocks, so that the water that was sliding down the rocks in some places would collect on the fabric. Then they squeezed it, and drank. View from the Ravni Dolac pit towards the top The dead lived like that for a day, two, three. On the fifth or sixth, someone answered their calls from above. The living were happy, so they listened to the calls from above that, if there was any money or gold among the dead, they should take it, now they will have a rope for pulling it out. Just to take it, so that they could find it during the days of war, so that it wouldn't fall into the pit. Some older women shouted "they're Ustashas, I recognized so-and-so by his voice". The others didn't listen to them. And those up there pulled out two of the Lalics and a girl, Sava Vulic. But, not long after, the gunshots were heard. Two young men were thrown down from above. After them, Sava. Naked. Who knows what they did to her before she died. Up there, only devilish laughter could be heard. And then the bombs. And shouts from above, "Is there anyone alive now, should we pull him out?" One of the pregnant women gave birth shortly afterwards. It was a stillborn female child. "God had it in mind that he wouldn't suffer and drown like us," said the unfortunate mother. Nine of the 13 surviving women from the Ravni Dolac pit A whole week passed. Two weeks. Three weeks. Four weeks. Five weeks. Six weeks. And three days. And then, a little shepherd, a Croat of good lineage, because there are good people everywhere, and there are not a few of them, heard the last cries. He brought some people to pull out if there were any survivors, but no one dared to move. One woman, unable to bear the horrors of the pit any longer, took courage. And appeared to them from above, happy. - From the Ravni Dolac pit, into which 218 living people, mostly women and children, were thrown, 13 women and one man emerged for the Beheading of St. John the Baptist. One of those women gave birth to twins three months later. Their two unborn hearts also beat in the pit for those six weeks and three days. May yours beat for those martyrs from today. And the 1,500 from the other pits of Livanjsko Polje. And who knows how many tens, hundreds of thousands of other victims of similar executions from those times. In fact, let them beat for us, the present ones. Let us no longer see the worst in the people around us, but let us not forget that we are - a race. Let us not forget - where we came from. Then we will know where we are going, and how we will get there. This story is just one of the signs along the way. Darko Nikolić; Saturday, April 23, 2016

What country was this in? The reason that I ask is that in my view all Ustashe were war criminals. That means that in whatever country this was in they took in a war criminal. Also, the name "Joe Wild" is in alias because that is not how his name would have been in the Croatian language. In the Croatian language the name "Joe Wild" probably would have been Josip Divlji or Divljic because divlji is the Croatian word for "wild." According to what I understand, some Croatians, especially those with Ustashe pasts and if they had a last name that was also an actual word, simply translated their last names into whatever the language was of the country they fled to. This enabled them to, on the one hand, maintain some semblance of their actual last name while, on the other hand, also avoiding detection.

No, this was done by a significant number of Serbs, both in the NDH government and among the generals. Not to mention the contracts between the Ustasha and the Chetniks. The most responsible for filling Jasenovac are the Serbs themselves.
Yes, it is important... The only problem is that this is pure Great Serbian propaganda because too many important facts are being "forgotten". For example the vast majority of Ustashas were from Bosnia and not from Croatia. Furthermore, more than half of the NDH government were ethnic non-Croats with a significant proportion of Serbs/Muslims. Next, the NDH authorities had signed agreements on cooperation with almost all Chetnik detachments on the joint fight against the partisans...etc.etc. This is just one-sided propaganda directed against today's Croatian state, which has less to do with the NDH than the Serbs from that area which, by the way, was more than twice the territorial size.

This is the most ordinary Great Serbian propaganda, not because the NDH and Jasenovac did not exist, but because the role of Serbs in it is kept silent, as well as the fact that Croats from present-day Croatia were a minority in the NDH government. The purpose of such propaganda is to make oneself a victim and to cover up the crimes committed by the Serbs.

Just like in Germany, the reports of the Red Cross representatives who visited and spent a few days in those camps completely contradict the atrocious official story written by the winners who also made sure that the 'other' version remained hidden from the general public. Tito's partisans were apparently much worse than the Croats but they were on the side of the allies while the Croats were on the axis side, you can therefore expect to find a lot of roadblocks on the path to historical accuracy but one thing is certain: the official story is so either highly misleading or incomplete and one sided, without doing some personal research no one can hope to get anywhere near finding out what really happened back then. If what is said sounds too horrific to be true, it probably isn't. And then you get Operation Keelhaul...

Serbs were banned to even talk about it and forced to live again with them in a same country. Again in 92' West helped them to destroy the country once again along with Bosnian Muslims, Mujahideens. The article recalled an anecdote told by Curcio Malaparte in his book Kaput, in which Poglavnik had a tray with Serbian eyes on his desk.

A Story for All Time - Jama
The Bones of Martyrs in the Ravni Dolac Pit
This is not a story for everyone's stomach.
View from the Ravni Dolac pit towards the top
The dead lived like that for a day, two, three.
And shouts from above, "Is there anyone alive now, should we pull him out?"
One of the pregnant women gave birth shortly afterwards. It was a stillborn female child. "God had it in mind that he wouldn't suffer and drown like us," said the unfortunate mother.
Nine of the 13 surviving women
from the Ravni Dolac pit
A whole week passed.
-
From the Ravni Dolac pit, into which 218 living people, mostly women and children, were thrown, 13 women and one man emerged for the Beheading of St.

First of all thank you very much for airing this valuable document as a testimony of the atrocities committed by the Ustasha during the Second World War and laying bear the horrors that occurred at the Jasenovac concentration and extermination camp. That having been said please note that part of this story is incorrect at the end of the war in 1945 the remaining Ustasha forces fled to Austria at the time occupied by the United Kingdom. Although the Ustasha was ready to surrender to the British the British refused and turned them back to Yugoslavia and into the hands of the partisans under Tito. About 40,000 of the Ustasha were subsequently massacred at Bleiburg Austria. Also although Ante Pavelic was severely attacked in Argentina in 1958 he didn't die in Argentina but rather fled to Spain where in 1959 he died of his wounds thank you very much and enjoy your evening 😊😊

Croats finish with Serbs 1995.croatia etnicly cleanest country in Europe.
Another one of the lies from the Serbian media kitchen. If you look at the percentage of Serbs in the Republic of Croatia, look at the area where most of them lived. I'm not talking about the territory they conquered, ethnic cleansing of all non-Serbs (yes, the Serbs mercilessly killed Croats, Hungarians, Slovaks, Czechs, Italians, Ruthenians, Albanians and everyone else in the occupied territory of Croatia in the early 90s). The vast majority of ethnic Serbs lived in cities, yes in Zagreb, Rijeka, Osijek, etc... The vast majority of these Serbs are ashamed of Milošević's chauvinism and the politics of Greater Serbia. Those Serbs participated in large numbers in the war against the Serbs, but they participated in Croatian uniforms. Today, those Serbs are already older people. Their children got married. Their grandchildren do not declare themselves as ethnic Serbs... but they have not disappeared, they are here.
Ethnic Purity is just a fancy expression for Inbreed lol.

My Mother and I once rented a place, in the '80,'s. The landlord's name was Joe Wild. He's dead now so I can name names. He admitted serving in Ustas. Never did say what he might have seen - or done. I hope that at St. Peter's Gates the Scales will fall the right way.. If not ?
Oni koji su radili zločine od sveukupnog broja Ustaša je manje od 10 % tako da se to mora uvijek imati pred očima.

Jasenovac wasnt the name of a camp but a complex of camps.

Šakić suffered from heart problems throughout his imprisonment and spent most of his later years in hospital.[2] He died of heart problems in a Zagreb hospital on 20 July 2008[12] and was cremated in full Ustaše uniform, as per his wishes.[26][1]
The priest who celebrated the funeral Mass, Vjekoslav Lasić, stated that "the court that convicted Dinko Šakić convicted Croatia and the Croatian nation". He claimed that "the NDH is the foundation of the modern Croatian homeland" and eulogized Šakić by saying that "every honorable Croat should be proud of [his] name".[27]
Šakić's funeral was attended by several Croatian politicians, including Anto Kovačević. Simon Wiesenthal Center director Efraim Zuroff, as well as the Israeli ambassador to Croatia, both lodged complaints with Croatian president Stjepan Mesić about Šakić's funeral. - wikipedia
