- The Champion is Gary again. Now he have two rare Johto Pokemon, Tyranitar and Heracross. And the others are still very tough, specially Blastoise, that now knows Earthquake. Enjoy it!

Does a pokemon half fire and half flying like charizard get less bonus for using fire attacks than a totally fire type like arcanine. Cause Charizard is only half fire, would that mean he would also only recieve half the bonus damage inflicted by a water attack because flying is not weak to water? Also, would a rock attack cause quadruple damage because fire and flying are weak to it, or only double damage?

i think it is cool to specialize on one type, i once did that with water types and it did make the game a lot harder, but its fun.

tyranitar is good because of sand stream, and both have a awesome attack, you decide, but is a good team :)

@TheNythera Tell me how is that? They are a part of the game, are ppl supposed to leave them out of the game and never use it? And those who have legendaries doesnt corrolate to them not being able to play.

well, its very difficult. first you have to go to dewford town change the trendy phrase. after that go to route 119 and in 6 tales of the water feebas appear. you have to be patient. btw, this is only in emerald version
in firered and leafgreen, do the levels of the elite four raise every time u defeat them?
1) He stays with the same team that you beat the second time around.
2) Yes, you can breed, but NOT in the Cerulean Daycare. The breeding daycare is on Four Island. I am not sure if the eggs are tradable.
3) I don't exactly recall the encounter rate, but yes, and they can be found ONLY on Seven Island in the grass when you walk south.

How come In emerald when u fight may for the last time u don't get to see her fully evolved starter?but I'm pretty sure once I got to fight her fully evolved starter.

I beat this elite four with only Mewtwo lvl 80, but I gave it super diverse movesets like flamethrower, ice beam, thunderbolt, psychic so its coverage is great. Of course by the time I got to the champ my Mewtwo was tired out, but I helped it last with only 2 elixirs especially because I consistently needed psychic for people like Bruno and Agatha and was running out of pp for all my other moves too. 1 full restore to prepare for the champ and 1 more in the middle of the match because Tyranitar was a pain... However my Mewtwo did me proud by always killing in one move.. 2 for the tyranitar, alakazam, blastoise

@Thundernurd he's already cleared the elite four the first time, cleared the sevii islands and fought the elite four a second time. by "second battle" he means that this battle features Blue/Gary's leveled up pokemon.

how do u get johto pokemon onto fire red?
Training Moltres, Zapdos and Articuno is also very useful. Moltres learns Heat wave and sky attac and Articuno learns Blizzard and Sheer Cold. Together with its mind reader and Sheer cold, it can defeat the strongest of pokemon.
Nice team. I'd only make a slight change in the movesets. That Hyper Beam is not so good for me. I use:

This has worked great! I sometimes use a Nidoking and a Houndoom.

(Ignore this if you already beaten the game with lv100's)
Go to Celedon city and take cycling road. When you go on cycling road, use the VS seeker (You get it in vermilon's PC), and work your way to the bridge on lavender town. If you have an amulet coin, (Get from the end of cycling road, and the entrance to Fuchsia.) It work's really well for me, and in a few days, got my whole party from 30's to 60's.

I remember the first time I had this fight, and not knowing what pokemon tyranitar was. It destroyed my charizard, my rayquaza and my mewtwo. Plus the sand, it seemed insanely tough

Not bad. But why Vaporeon? He's probably the weak link in what is otherwise a very strong roster. Why not Gyarados, Cloyster, or Kingdra?
I just fought the elite four and gary second time with no training...4 pokemon, all in high fifties...
This is one hardcore kickbutt team.

wow, your team are really tough, if they fight my pokemon, the first pokemon that you would send out would be your last becuase you wipp me with your first one! your team is like 20 levels higher than mine!
Hmmm...so you like to confuse your opponents with unusual attack choices (from Victreebel,Noctowl),use unusual tactics(Butterfree),take risks (Golem) and change to a more usual approach when least expected (Lapras,Charizard). Interesting style i admit, but you see, the thing is...can you make your strategies work with those six before a good Legend line-up take your Pokemon out one-by-one? Cause what's the strategy for if your Pokemon can't survive long enough? I'm not undefeated for nothing...

yeah, I like having meteor mash as an alternative against ice types, although with Tyranatar having flamethrower, it kind of makes it used less. I'm not sure what to replace hyperbeam with; I decided to go with it to have all my type bases covered. I use it a lot when I don't feel like switching pokemon but Heracross' other moves don't match set.
I want to get rid of the legendaries eventually, but the trick is finding pokemon that can cover the same huge bases of TMs they have. I was thinking
