I think when Newman figures out that you go but he has a home he will be a good traveling dog. So many changes. I love your videos. I love the historical facts. Thank you for sharing it with us.
We are enjoying following up home to Alaska. I don't go to my phone often to send a message but I do watch you every day you are on and look back at old videos. So sorry about your mom. Enjoy you and your wonderful husband. North Carolina friends, Ann and Ron Rockwell
You articulate so well and your videos are exceptional! God sure made some beautiful places! Safe travels…precious cargo❣️ love from your friend in North Pole, AK
Mom's pup is looking happy. Panting quite a bit but I'm sure that's only because it is not used to being without mom. I hope that you don't mind if I call your mom, mom. She was probably more close to my age and nowhere near being an age where she'd be mom to me. It's just that the word mom has such a Loving sound especially coming from you that I adopted it to call your mom. You say it with such love. Just know if I'd been blessed with children I'd love to have a beautiful daughter as yourself. Thank you for sharing your life with us. I'm in Trapper Creek Alaska and I have lived off grid here for over 20 years now. Blessings sent to you all the way from Trapper Creek Alaska! See ya! Praying for you daily! I can't wait to see you make it home!✌🏻🤠❤
Thank you so much for taking me on this wonderful journey with you both and the dogs always wanted to go to Canada but never got the chance.. beautiful video and very well edited... with much appreciation on my part..🌹🌹🌹
Hi Stacey & Gary, It's Michelle here from Durban South Africa, I only recently started watching your channel to be exact on arrival at mom's house and we're leaving with her to the hospital, so I'm sorry for your loss. I must say I really enjoy your videos and it looks really cool living in a RV we just don't have them back here, well safe journey back home.
The RV has been nice to have our own space during this ordeal but I will be honest I cant wait to get home and have all the creature comforts of a house. Thanks for riding along with us over these past several weeks.
Thank you Phil. It's been a nice drive so far. Today we are almost home and driving our last few miles in Canada! By tonight we will be back in Alaska and home tomorrow if all goes well.
Awe thank you. You live in a beautiful part of Alberta. Its a nice little community. Wish we could of drove into town and enjoyed but as you know we need to get home. Thanks for watching.
@@LivingFreeAlaska I grew up in Kamloops BC, but have lived in Hinton for over 31 years. My husband and I traveled up to Fairbanks a few years ago over the Alcan Highway, and loved it. Am sure we will do it again one day. Enjoy the rest of your trip home!
When the Alaska highway was finished it was touted as Dawson Creek to Fairbanks but later changed to Delta Junction as there already was a road from Fairbanks to Delta Junction. The same happened on the south end as there was already a road to Charlie Lake BC. the real mile zero. The Army construction camp was set up at Charlie Lake and Fort St John.
I'm sorry for your loss. I lost my folks within 36 months of each other. You never forget. There will be sad days. But what i cherish is that i was able to make so many memories. And by the sounds of it. She is happy with the choice you made to live up north. And she wanted to be there. So take comfort in that she is proud and happy for you.
Thank you for showcasing my Province of Alberta. The Icefields Parkway is my favourite highway - it's so very beautiful! I'm so happy you got to experience it again.
Nice info on different areas in Canada, etc. Tim Hortons yum Timbits and coffee. Even though I live in NYS ( Adirondacks) when I go back home ( Southern Tier) to visit I buy coffee to bring back and of course donuts. Safe travels and Be Blessed . 😊🇺🇲
Such beautiful scenery and you did a great job with all the information. So sorry for your loss. ❤ There’s nothing like heading home!😊 thanks for sharing
Thank you Shirley. We have done just that. Today (Wednesday) is day 10 of being on the road and with luck we will be back in Alaska later today and home tomorrow.
@@LivingFreeAlaska So glad to hear you are nearly home. I know you are ready even though winter is knocking on your doorstep!!! Continue being safe my friend.
Hello Miss Nancy. Unfortunately we are still on the road. The good news is we should be back in Alaska later today and home by tomorrow evening if all goes well! 🥰
Yes it is... but I will say we are currently in the Kluane Lake area right now and we have snow on the ground and well of course the worse of the frost heaves comes up.
@@LivingFreeAlaska I think I'll have to go through Kootenay/Yoho/Banff next time. I've been that way once, but it was in 2009 so it's been a long time. Forgot how gorgeous it is through there.

So glad you are heading home. This is an awesome video, absolutely loved it - took notes because this is the route we plan to take. Thank you so much for sharing. Have a question on the route you took out of Grande Prairie to Dawson Creek - was it 43 to 2, then 97 to Taylor?
Yes. 43 and 2 are the same road… just different provinces hence a different number. Then in Dawson at the roundabout 2 will end and you will proceed on 97 (the Alaska Highway) which will eventually turn to Hwy 1 once you enter the Yukon. 😘
@LivingFreeAlaska when you said rv was shaking n u asked is the road n he was going to get it check out before you guys got to far into trip?? I was hoping something ez like weight fell off rim
That was us entered Canada. And they were very standard questions to be asked by Canadian agents. Very easy crossing. And actually many don’t know but persons have very little rights at a border crossing. Either the US side or the Canadian side. And one must remember we are visitors to a foreign country and they don’t have to let us in if they don’t want. She was just doing her job.
