Just wanted to say I personally love these new videos. They are really great for clinicals, or real life in general, compared to the didactic or academic side all your other videos cover. For that reason, I think this is a great added diversity to your library. It's a very holistic approach. Instead of the video being one type of pathology and breaking it all down, it's covering all aspects of how a patient presenting should be considered. Even when you know what the topic is (AKI) and the case gives away the cause, you fully explore how their medications and pmhx can contribute, as well as what the patient and their labs might look like with other diseases. It's exactly how I try to think in a real clinical setting where you don't want to miss anything, so I love these videos.
I love these while i drive. As a nurse it really clears up a lot of the treatments doctors order. I can better educate patients who are refusing treatment and it makes way to sound the alarm with abnormal signs n symptoms because i understandwhat us going on much better. Really like the podcast format!
Please do more whiteboard videos. These podcasts are good but could be better if you were to do them solo, presented them more formally with slides of the case and in a lecture format.
Pretty sure his whiteboard talks are still in date and don't need to be updated. Still free to watch again. No need to post the same videos over and over again
Nephro/Crit here, if you ever want to expand into the evaluation that doesnt rely on Creatinine as much and more on BPs lmk. Love yalls channels, between AKI and HypoNa I would love to be a guest.
Can be, but more likely was related to the worsening kidney injury complications. Uremia comes with uremic bleeding (uremic platelet dysfunction). The pathogenesis isn't well understood, important takeaway is they bleed.
Could you do a podcast or video on ectopic and malrotated kidney? Pleaseee!!!! And what are the risk factors or the care to do for it if the individual is healthy otherwise....my friend got diagnosed with it..
