First fish was a yellow fin croaker I believe. Hard to tell but definitely a croaker.

First fish was a White Croaker ( like the signs you see on the piers not to eat) . We call them tom cod . Yellow fin croaker have lines along the side and fins are more yellow. Killer halibut and bass bait.

The fish you can’t identify is a white croaker. Common from Ensenada to Eureka. Highly toxic, but can be used as a substitute for mackerel for bait.

@Fish Guy Corvina are a larger, more aggressive croaker (similar to White Sea bass) native to Baja California. White croaker are much smaller and less aggressive.
