The song dax wrote for his mom and all moms for mother's day was awesome you definitely need to check it out. It's called dear mom. It actually made me cry because I lost my mom when I was 19 matter of fact it will be 20 years ago next month

There is an awesome "mega remix" version with other artists, you'd likely love it. Also - I previously suggested, and hope you don't mind me bringing it up again - for you to watch "Sabaton" (band name) "No Bullets Fly" (8:50 long animated version) - Sabaton tells true stories of combat without picking sides - and tell of valor, mercy, and heroism. Considering your background, I truly think you'll like them.

A pair of Dax's songs I think you should react to are "Joker" and its sequel "Joker Returns".
Both raps deal with the subjects of social media bullying and suicidality, ultimately acting as a helping hand to those those who suffer in those ways.
Be forewarned, there is R-rated language and Dax often raps so fast that you'll want to have the lyrics handy.
