My daughter and I stayed here 2019 and we had an absolutely brilliant time. I enjoyed the walk into town and there were lots of nice restaurants to choose from (even one gluten free), brilliant ice cream shop, gift-shops and a supermarket. The rooms were basic but we didn't mind that and the food at the bar was really good. There was a woman who worked there (can't recall her name now) but she did entertainment for the kids, and held a yoga class for adults and did water polo and beach volleyball with all the families... we had a blast . (To answer a previous comment - The pool is not heated) :) Thank you for your review it brought back happy memories, glad to see it is still going strong.

Stayed end of June 23 my friend and I absolutely loved it ❤.apartment was so clean, Staff are so friendly and helpful, it's near to everything and the harbour is gorgeous ,music square 😊,food everywhere is brilliant ❤❤❤

45 days and counting till we return to Bristol Playa..been staying there for 20 years and love it❤..basic but everything you need and Danny's bar is the best..last year check in was 3pm..now 5pm😢..we land at 10.30am..oh well we'll just have to sit in the bar and wait😂😂..excellent review as always and see you soon

No never stayed there but was given a guided tour when it was first built late 80's early 90's it's makes me feel very nostalgic and it has survived the test of time! 😎🌴

Hi David great video, we have stayed here a couple of times (November) and had top floor sea view apartment we opened the bedroom window and patio door and the breeze blew straight through lovely!
We are coming back in October staying at the Marismas (first time)

Stayed here twice lovely complex ground floor first time second time top floor with sea view and balcony loved it there but bit out of the way for getting back at night had to get taxis but they were cheap good place to stay
We walked home late as we know town quite well but can imagine tourists getting lost easily around there in the dark!
I have stayed at the Bristol Playa many times over the years and liked it despite the fact it was quite basic and could be noisy. I loved the poolside bar- excellent cocktails reasonably priced. Used to be run by a very friendly guy called Danny. Shame you can no longer visit the pool/bar without being a resident, although I understand the likely reasons why!
Yeah that’s a shame but I guess they want the beds for paying clients! The pool bar is run by Carlos now (ex Galera)
Looks good! If you ever get chance to review Atlantic gardens that be brilliant! Apparently as long as you use the pool bar you can use the facilities there! Booked in a few weeks but not much on UA-cam! :)

We have stayed here we really liked it , clean , the staff are lovely great pool area and bar , you can also walk across to the beach , bit of a walk to town but is that a bad thing ? we would have no hesitation about coming back only downside we felt , it was a bit of a walk to the supermarkets and walk back down with heavy shopping , that said a great complex and we agree with ur review well done 👏
It’s a tad further to town but didn’t bother us at all walking home late, but then again we only had one night there 😂 it’s a nice place, basic but does what it says 👍🏻👍🏻
Nice one Dave, I'm the same defo not a ground floor pool side room for me either, I like to be 'not on show' 😎 and scratch the little guys when required 😂 That temp with no air would have done me in too, shades the order of the day for me these days 😮. Take care DougT

stayed there 25 years ago it was a brilliant holiday all inclusive then, cant afford the prices now for 2 adults and 3 children as we were then

This was via TUI
In January this year, we booked a room here for the second time. A quiet room on the other side of the complex. Also on the ground floor. We found it no problem to leave the windows open. Nice basic appartment with everything we needed. Nice walk along the promenade to the centre of Corralejo and back in the evening. Close to our favourite restaurant Avenida. Only problem we had were marching ants :) We said hello to you and had a cocktail and wine. Greetings from the Netherlands!

Is the pool heated in winter
Went to Pepperone pizza in June compared to last year the food and service was really poor and staff lacked basic manners so it will be the last time ,would rather get a taxi to Roja tomato in Campanario their pizzas are really good and more personal service! only slight prob is they close earlier in the evening! 😎

Never stayed at this Hotel and unlikely to do so - if you are on a tight budget, can chase late deals and want to have minimal time at your hotel ( Corralejo is a good place for this) then I suspect it might fit the bill - as a general rule always avoid Ground Floor rooms - No Air Con and I believe Pets are welcome - reviews smack of inconsistency in standards and service so you may come a cropper if you are unlucky

Hey David I know we are old farts but do you know of any party boat trips 😂😂 obv not all young like a mixture of ages so not talkin 18 to 30 😂😂 not even sure if that’s still going 😂😂 an we defo would pass for 18 😂😂
Maybe try taking the catamaran excursion, unlimited beer and wine on board, paella included and kayaks, paddle boards included too 4 hours trip docked off of Lobos island
