Great review as usual David. The apartment you were overlooking from your balcony is an Airbnb called The Sea Baxman Suite. We stayed there for a month last November/December. It's a brilliant place to stay!
We stayed at the corralejo so last week, overlooking the sea. Love the location and the views. @holidayletswithkirsty surprised us with champagne and chocolates for our honeymoon. Another informative video David, keep it going ☺️
@@TravelsMadeSimple Charming..... this is the way these young UA-camrs treat their patrons these days! I'm shocked!😮 Harry's always been our favourite anyway! 🖕 🤣🤣
Great video, always wanted to look in here. We usually stay over towards the turbines, Buendia Nohotel Hotel Bristol Sunset Beach. We're back in October staying in Surfing Colours hotel. Can't wait for a G&T in Main Street bar 👍🏼
I’ve stayed here twice and it’s what you make it. Can’t beat the location (unless anyone can tell me otherwise?). Breakfast was absolutely fine, but we ate out for lunch and dinner, so would only go B&B. I believe it’s recently been refurbished, so the rooms may not be as dated as they were. Having said that and paying to have room for sole occupancy, I liked it. Loved the little kitchen area, which can be closed when not in use. Daily cleaning which is a plus. I found the reception staff and the manager lovely. We didn’t use the pool, as my friend and I being mobility challenged, I think it would be hard to get in and out. I haven’t stayed in the part you did, but one day would love a sea view room. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. 👍👍👍
Hi David love The Hotel Corralejo Beach stopped on both sides of the hotel the 2 times I’ve been there one was private rented with sea view and 2nd time was Main Street side just on the corner. Coming back in April 2024.
Hello David and izzy I am just catching up with a few of your recent videos as missed a few since we got back from fuerteventura in june ... as not been well from catching the nova virus at the oliva beach hotel when we were there and doing my back in at the hotel . But we will be back to fuerteventura next June and funnily enough we have booked the hotel Corralejo beach ⛱️ it will be our first time here and looking forward to it 😊 thanks for look atound inside
Hi David thanks for the lovely review.Going to fuertenventa in September again ❤ could you please let me know if there is a moonlight cinema there? I heard there was if you could let me know that would be lovely.
Not that I know of, there is a cinema in the town of Caleta De Fuste, I think English films are on Tuesdays.. but as far as I know no moonlight cinema. There is one in Lanzarote though!
We didn’t experience any when we stayed there (check our last video) you can also buy a citronella spray (lemon spray) to put over your skin before bed which deters them
Hey Michael, I can’t remember exactly what room we got but it was definitely the cheapest one. We wouldn’t have gone premium deluxe. Good choice on hotel though you can’t beat the location 👍🏻
Enjoyed the vlog. Very informative. Would like to have seen the pool/bar area during the daytime, although I understand that the presence of large numbers of people might make filming difficult.
Yeah normally I would had we spent time around it but we checked in late and out early this time around due to other commitments. But yes, also can be difficult with kids around etc
Stayed there in June had a very small room with no separate bedroom beds in the way of the wardrobes and couldn't see yourself in full length mirror location ok but would only stay there if I couldn't get into our usual accommodation love the vlog David out there in Oct hope to see you missed you in June 😢
We stayed at this hotel last march location is amazing father in law came too he has mobility issues so the location was perfect for him, we did feel the rooms badly needed an upgrade (were not complainers ) really bad smell in the room think it might have been the drains and the pool area had lots of broken tiles some with really sharp edges we also thought the balcony’s were really small prices at bar were expensive too preferred hesperia when we stayed there however location no where near as good as this hotel did prefer this one to oasis dunas which we stayed at previously , that said we would stay here again could be a proper gem with a revamp but i guess the prices would go through the roof next time we’re staying at dunas appartments at the marina next time for the first time , great review again keep up the good work David 👍 can’t wait to get back and sit in the sunset beach bar watching the live music all afternoon 🍺
Great stuff David a review of the Dunas club apartments would be great too , we always get a budget hotel in corralejo no point spending a fortune when there is so much going on in corralejo bars restraunts and live music just need somewhere to crash 👍
Stayed there last year, loved it, but the Seaview rooms are owned by a different chain, don’t suppose if you get a chance, do a review of one of their rooms?
The hotel complex is a lot bigger to what you would think 💭 but I don’t fancy being that close to the Main Street and centre of town. We are looking at Maxorata Beach for January……any insight or information on these? Thanks David and Izzy. 10 % for a canned cocktail btw ….. Wow 🤩 😂😂
Stayed there a few years ago, we weren't impressed, probably the worst place we have stayed in Corralejo (and we have stayed at a lot of places in Corralejo) When we were there, which was about 7 or 8 years ago, we found it very impersonal, and the pool area was awful. We said we would never stay there again. A negative point was also the transfer buses drop and collect you opposite Rock Cafe which means you have to drag your cases a few hundred yards to and from the hotel. To be fair our experience there was a few years ago and it may have improved oh also it was very cheap 😆

Quite impressed.Worth bearing in mind.
A great option!
Good review guys! First hotel we ever stayed in on the Island back in August 1990! When the Main Street was just a dirt road! 🤣

Rooms are really nice now. Corridors etc are a bit tired. Great location

Looks lovely. air con in the rooms, fab x
We had to keep the door open to get access to it but it was good 👍🏻

Great video you should try bistrot del mar at the campanario
Thanks!
Great review. Visiting here in 2 weeks time. Can i ask what room/apartment you got. We've booked a premium deluxe and curious

Cheers Ray, it looks like they’re starting to do some renovations at the moment! So let’s see what happens, if they do - I’ll re review it 👍🏻

I’ll have a look and see if the prices go cheap enough I’ll get in there to look around! 👍🏻😊
@@TravelsMadeSimple that’ll be great if you can. Thank you 😊
I stayed there in February half board. Food was decent with a good choice
Ahh glad you enjoyed it!
The location is too noisey for me l like a bit more peace and quiet but great if you want to be central to all the town has to offer! 🌻
100%, spot on!
A bit too noisy at times for us two but compared with staying in the UK 🇬🇧 it's spot on. Might have to slip this one in shortly 😅.
Worth checking the prices!
I stayed there last year a small room opposite right opposite the police station and the restaurant
Sounds like what we had
I turned the air com off about an hour later someone came up knocked the walked in put it back on again it was too cold miserable bloke
Looks really good wouldn't think it from the look of the outside of it thanks for showing it
Stayed here years ago great location not a brilliant bar but hope it's changed it does look like it's had a revamp
And some more works are ongoing right now
I have stayed here and will be again in November😎
Enjoy it!

I imagine it’s improved since then, I usually hear good things, cheap and cheerful.
