I gone through MRI dr. says little bit problem in KE L5 . He suggested physio. Physio suggested me same exercises thrice a day . I tried but not much improvement . What should I do .Plzzzz help

There is no harm in doing the stretches even after the pain has subsided..but would suggest to do at least strengthening of hip muscles for some days so that pain does not reoccur
I have pain on my left side and when I touch it hurts and is lumpy so tell which side must I sleep or straight on y back I will do the treatment to told Thank you

I am currently suffering from this since last 2 months and pain goes till the bottom of leg especially while i drive the car. I use cushion while driving but it doesn’t help much. I drive a car for 30 mins a day and pain teaches its peak at that time. The rest of the day it’s normal.

Can you please clarify whether you are actually referring to the Gluteus (buttock) area? 2. I have been having a dull pain for more than 2 years in the left gluteus area which gets triggered more, whenever I sit for long periods of time, like computer work, driving etc. Also when running, am unable to run my fastest, because every time I attempt to lift the left leg off the ground, the dull pain kicks in preventing me from achieving maximum speed. Are the above clear symptoms of Piriformis syndrome and would your suggested exercises and tips help? Thank you in advance.

Is this also the same pain for which you mentioned this exercise? Sometimes it also happens that on the front side of the leg I start to feel a severe burning sensation in a sensitive area.

Don’t do prolonged sitting …keep a roll of towel on the affected hip while sitting to avoid pain pressure on that hip

The massage part you can do till your pain subside ...the exercise part you can continue regularly

If the back is not involved, you can do little gym exercises but if back is the reason of the pain , then please avoid the weight lifting exercises
