Something can't be degrees of unique (just like someone can't be degrees of pregnant); it's either unique or it isn't. You mean _different,_ _rare,_ or _distinct,_ so just say that.
Although most if not all of this seems to be easily adaptable, we must understand that singapore's small size and strategic location definitely added to its success, its like comparing Delhi to the rest of india, yes we must find inspiration in singapore's economic boom, but also attempt to practically implement such policies whilst moulding them as per india's interests nd situation.
While we too have many advantages, we failed...we have a huge country with wonderful attractions, history, culture, a huge population, and a huge number of people who speak English.
@@karanverma8067 Yes India has failed to fully utilize its resources - both human and natural, but we must realize that the Autocratic poltical system applied in singapore , if applied in India, can turn this country into hell
@@karanverma8067 Having a huge number of people who speak English is not only sorta a myth (most Indians' English is pretty putrid, TBH), but not the benefit that people make it out to be. English in India means English-medium, which is a braindead way to run a country (it would be like learning Mandarin by teaching physics in it), and the results are there for everyone to see. Despite 75+ years of shoving it down everyone's throats, about 2% of the population speaks it to a respectable level, about 5% can write/understand it well enough, and about 10% can interact with it in some capacity. The remaining 90% is essentially devoid of English, and they're all left behind because India thinks it's a good idea to screw 90% of its population to serve the (essentially) top 2%.

To build a country, people need to change how they think, what they value, and how they act. They need to work together, care about fairness, and put the good of everyone above their own interests. This means building trust, following rules, and being active in helping the country grow and improve.
A powerful government with a radical and vissionary leader who can dare to reform the things can only change the fate of the country otherwise in India is facing the polar opposite of it unfortunately and we know the consequences.

While India's challenges are on a different scale, there's much we can learn. Videos like this not only educate but inspire us to think critically about how to bridge the gap. Kudos to Varun for delivering such high-quality, thought-provoking content that pushes us to envision a brighter future!

Transformation of singapore and transformation of India is immensely different, development of Singapore can be taken as a development of a city delhi ncr , greater mumbai , greater kolkata , bengaluru are bigger than Singapore in land area itself .
Yo, this is literally a masterclass in scaling systems and building something massive from nothing. Singapore's transformation is basically the ultimate startup case study. Here are the most fire takeaways for builders: 2:54 - Marketing is everything. They positioned Singapore like a premium product, making sure even the airport roads were pristine to impress visiting CEOs. Classic high-ticket offer psychology 💯 7:28 - Don't protect underperformers. They let weak local businesses fail instead of propping them up with subsidies. Harsh but necessary for building excellence. 14:47 - Pay top dollar for top talent. They paid government officials private sector wages to attract the best and prevent corruption. You get what you pay for. 15:42 - Solved the language barrier by picking English - not because it was best, but because nobody was emotionally attached to it. Sometimes the neutral choice > the perfect choice. Anyone else notice how these same principles apply to building and scaling businesses today? Drop a 🔥 if you're implementing any of these in your business. #buildinpublic #entrepreneurship #systemsthinking
Always love to watch these videos with inspiration but a startup like Nation building can sacrifice liberty if it becomes a monopoly like any startup. anyone with any example of subsidizing these power for more fair competition and efficiency

I was born and raised in the UK to parents originally from India. Currently, I work in a senior technical position at a global software multinational corporation employing over 24,000 people. Over the years, I have conducted numerous interviews, and from that experience, I can confidently say that India can never and will never become another China, let alone another Singapore. The primary reason lies in how Indians are educated and nurtured to think during their schooling. I have interviewed many candidates who completed their schooling in India and later moved to the UK for higher education. One significant struggle they face is the ability to build upon ideas. For instance, if asked to code a linked list, they can do so effortlessly. However, if tasked with designing an API for a library to perform a specific function under certain constraints, they often falter. In contrast, candidates educated in the UK tend to excel in such open-ended tasks but, struggle with coding. I often perceive many Indians as "human robots." They excel when given precise instructions with clear configurations and can execute those tasks indefinitely. However, when asked to conceptualize or create something independently, they often struggle. It's almost like they've been restricted to think themselves.

Hi Varun, do you have any course so that we would know how to automate our own content for you tube? Is there a detailed video about how to use AI so that we can create our own automated video system?
Singapore has a Single Party system advantage like China besides they dont have Federal structure of power and responsibilities division between state and center.. There are many other advantages like its small homogeneous society...but the question can Bharat built cities like Special Administrative regions like HK And Macau may be in Union territories..so the center can indepentely build these cities which are world class and other indian citizens cannot freely enter ensuring it does not have mass migration
@shreyashsaste241 well if you have mass migration from under developed places like it's happening in Bangalore, Delhi, Mumbai then you are will be creating another region with beggars and slums..and additional unnecessary labour looking for jobs rather than attracting what's needed to make the place successful. So a outsiders who are Indians can enter only if they secure a job or creating a startup there like it's done in places like Canada and Singapore..so SAR will be contributing to Indian GDP but will not become a chaos like the rest of India and Bharat will have a developed city that other cities will aspire to be
@@wassupguy1505 right it's not homogenous but the concept of SAR like in China can be applied where laws are managed differently, basically you are creating a mini independent adminstration to potentially speeden up the process of development.

both husband and wife's storytelling is very different and very unique than any other content creator with high quality information.👏👏
Something can't be degrees of unique (just like someone can't be degrees of pregnant); it's either unique or it isn't. You mean _different,_ _rare,_ or _distinct,_ so just say that.
The things that he did to make singapore a superpower sounds like a movie . Hats off to him .
It's film level production quality and concept. Hats off to Varun for properly utilizing resources.
Although most if not all of this seems to be easily adaptable, we must understand that singapore's small size and strategic location definitely added to its success,
its like comparing Delhi to the rest of india,
yes we must find inspiration in singapore's economic boom, but also attempt to practically implement such policies whilst moulding them as per india's interests nd situation.
This is a correct response sadly most people of dont understand it or refuse to believe it.
The remaining 90% is essentially devoid of English, and they're all left behind because India thinks it's a good idea to screw 90% of its population to serve the (essentially) top 2%.
this is the longest long form video i've watched in recent times. idk how you kept my attention for so long, what an amazing video.
Production quality. Off the charts 🥳
As always something that gives me a feeling of awe and also Something I aspire to do. Thank You Varun for being someone I can look up to. You've always been an inspiration for me from the first day I discovered you. I hope I can meet you in 2025, after I can get started with my journey in the very so similar field as yours after my finals are over in March. See you on the other side of the screen soon.
I am a class 10th student and I have been learning ai from class 9th as a skill subject in my school. But the knowledge which you give is outstanding from any of the curriculum. Really I see you like my big brother creating slipstream for me 🤗
Varun's roduction quality with ai going through the roof day by day
It seems more and more green screen, doesn't sit well
Singapore's population isn’t even 1% of India’s population.
In 1960, Singapore’s population was only 16.5 lakh. Meanwhile, in India, 1-2 lakh people died every year from road accidents alone.
It’s extremely easy to make a country rich with a population of just 16 lakh, rather than a country with 1.4 billion people.
1st. Singapore is rich because of its location. It is situated at the Strait of Malacca, through which nearly 40% of global trade passes.
2nd. World Bank Loans (1963-1975): Singapore received $300 million USD in loans from the World Bank, which is equal to $3-4+ billion today. This helped build the country's infrastructure.
3rd. India faced 5 wars since 1947, while Singapore faced zero. War can destroy an entire economy.
4th. If India had received the same per capita loan as Singapore did in 1960, which was $300 million USD, it would have amounted to approximately $82.5 billion USD. In today’s value, considering inflation, this would be around $577 billion USD. If India had received that much loan in 1960 ofcourse today india will be more richer than Singapore
In reality, no one will give India that much loan.
Indian goverment 2024 all tax collection is only 233 billion
5th Singapore is Tax Heaven
Today, I will tell you why India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh are poor, with a GDP per capita of just $2,000
India:
• GDP: 3,940 billion
• Exports: 776 billion
• Imports: 854 billion
• Trade Loss: -78 billion
• Main Import Item: Petroleum (170 billion+)
• Natural Resources Imports: 300 billion+
• Government Revenue (Tax): 330 billion
• Government Expenses: 540 billion
Bangladesh:
• GDP: 451 billion
• Exports: 60 billion
• Imports: 70 billion
• Trade Loss: -9 billion
• Main Import Item: Petroleum (11 billion+)
• Government Revenue: 36 billion
• Government Expenses: 57 billion
Pakistan:
• GDP: 374 billion
• Exports: 38 billion
• Imports: 63 billion
• Trade Loss: -25 billion
• Main Import Item: Petroleum (15 billion+)
• Government Revenue: 47 billion
• Government Expenses: 72 billion
These countries are poor because they don't have enough natural resources and have to import a lot.
---
Why are Some Countries Rich?
Russia:
• GDP: 2.18 trillion
• GDP per capita: 14,953, 47,299 (PPP)
• Exports: 465 billion
• Imports: 379 billion
• Trade Profit: 87 billion
• Main Exports: Natural Resources (crude oil, natural gas, coal, iron)
Russians are originally Eastern Europeans.
In the 16th to 19th centuries, Russia expanded its land through military conquests and colonization, especially in Siberia.
Today, Russia makes over 400 billion just by exporting natural resources of Siberia.
Australia:
• GDP: 1.8 trillion
• GDP per capita: 65,966, 69,475 (PPP)
• Exports: 671 billion
• Imports: 527 billion
• Trade Profit: 144 billion
• Main Exports: Natural Resources (crude oil, coal, iron ore)
Australians are originally Britishers.
In 18th and 19th centuries Britishers killed millions of natives(Aboriginals)and occupied Australia.
Australia today makes over 600 billion from exporting natural resources.
First these countries don't have to import natural resources.
Second these countries export natural resources and get free money(billions of dollars)
India Population:- 1.4 billion
European Population:- 1.4 billion
But Europeans are occupying whole North America South America Australia and New Zealand (50 % of earth land area)
Imagine if today india decide to conquer Australia(for natural resources)to solve poverty of Indian subcontinent then to stop india Europeans will give money (weapons)to pakistan& even today Bangladesh and start a new war with in india.
By hating india
Pakistanis and Bangladeshis are doing there own loss
If today india was a united country then today india will easily conquer Australia or any country and you me all indians living a good life with High GDP per capita o
India is poor 2k GDP per capita country comes in poor category
Why because india have 20%of world population and 2% of world land area and natural resources
India population 1.4 billion
European population is also 1.4 billion
But they occupy Whole North America South America Australia and New Zealand 50% of World land area and natural resources
If Indians want to become rich with good GDP per capita and infrastructure indians need to conquer other countries
Best target Australia
Land area bigger than whole South Asia
Natural resources value 20 Trillon USD
Population 20 million (2crore)
Australians are Britishers who left United Kingdom 200 years ago by killing native Australians they occupy Australia and living a luxurious life by selling natural resources
With GDP per capita of $65,966 (nominal; 2024) $69,475 PPP
India have young population of more than 300 million in war young people fight
Peace is enough
From last 70 years we are following Gandhi
Peacefull ideology
Still we are poor
now we need to change
@MamnunRahman-mrt it's not AI , it's made using blender.
It's a shame to call someone's hardwork as AI
Thank you for putting your sponsor at last
Singapore's story is a masterclass in governance and innovation. It's a testament to the power of vision, meritocracy, and strategic thinking. While India's challenges are on a different scale, there's much we can learn. Videos like this not only educate but inspire us to think critically about how to bridge the gap. Kudos to Varun for delivering such high-quality, thought-provoking content that pushes us to envision a brighter future!

Media is for the integrity of the state.
Oftentimes, media has taken the existence of citizenhood for granted.
Of course, accountability is necessary in the government.
However, media is far detached from the greater picture.
It's very necessary to keep its feet on the ground.
bro literally trolled fininfluencers 11:30
You know which city he took inspiration from? Kolkata. Kolkata was the biggest commercial hub of India during that time with the best quality of huan resources. Now imagine the level of our downfall.
I'm a proud Indian but I envy Singaporeans.
Bro’s content quality goes through the rooof!!
The video content is amazing. but also great editing and visuals. Hats off to you guys.
cinema or yt video omg the productiong quality!! you deserve greater reach
Varun can singlehandedly produce a documentary 🤯
There's always a good TEAM dumb
Varun taking content, to a whole new next level. Any words are less for you, you've always been an inspiration!❤
Incredible, dude! Love it!
The most underrated youtuber/founder. For me Varun you're an inspiration !!
"VARUN, YOUR VIDEOS ARE A MASTERCLASS IN INNOVATION!!! I'm beyond fascinated by the seamless fusion of AI and creativity in your content. Your work is not only visually stunning but also a testament to the future of video creation.
I'd LOVE to see a DEEP DIVE MASTERCLASS on your entire workflow, from conceptualization to final render. Could you please share your secrets on:
The AI tools you use (e.g., Midjourney, DALL-E, etc.)
Your workflow for integrating AI-generated content with traditional video editing
Any custom scripts or plugins you've developed to streamline your process
Your thought process behind selecting the perfect AI-generated elements to enhance your narrative
A masterclass or even a series of tutorials would be a GAME-CHANGER for creators like myself who are eager to explore the possibilities of AI-powered video creation.
Thanks for inspiring us with your incredible work, Varun!"
Remove the double quotes next time 😂😅
@subhayanchatterjee8145 Is it AI generated?
Answer - Yes, it is.
Next time I will keep in mind to minimize the error.
That's why I am asking for a masterclass.
Newbie makes mistake more often than the trained person.
Plus one I have taken some online class for video editing trust me the user experience is pathetic I have no idea which lesson to take first
This is not AI , AI is no near to give this much video quality, this is made on blender using 3d modelling
@muazunais2378 Yes, I agree with you. I am not saying that it is completely generated by AI by a prompt because the video generating tools like Sora and the new one of google is still not doing that much. But I want to know that how he is leveraging it using AI and what are all the processes.
BTW thanks for mentioning "Blender". It makes more sense and clears out some of the questions.
Come down to Singapore and actually see how the people in the heartlands live, we are no less than an aristocracy where the highest bidder wins, people here can’t afford houses anymore.
Mr Lee Kwan yew was the greatest thing to happen to us, in his absence, the future is definitely uncertain!
I love how you explain libertarian principles without ever using the jargon associated
Thanks for the video! Will come handy when I start building my own country next year
I seriously thought that Varun would be advising us to make a new country💀 I mean I am just sayin-
I’ve been thinking about how we could fix india like literally everyday.
But, this piece was a good data point to compare strategies. I think it’s a good opportunity to fix india to show how a large country can be fixed in 21st century.
Can we take a minute to acknowledge that Varun is teaching us how to milk AI to the max to make truly cinematic content at comparatively no cost
as a citizens of india we should only talk about progress and prosperity, only then our leaders will pay attention, we should improve ourselves first..
This is simply outstanding!!
Lee really knew what to do. What a legend!
Beautiful editing as always ❤
I really want a series about other countries such developments
Man the time machine visuals are so unnecessary, and I love it!!! 😭
Amazing video and super narratives. I really hope some of this knowledge is taken into consideration by our country's leaders and put into practice. Great content
Oooh what a video 📸 editing and presentation
I only like one aspect of Varun's perspective: acting early allows you to lead in that segment (animation, using AI for content creation, etc.).👍
Great video and powerful sponsor for your content
Thank u Lee Kuan Yew. Btw this video is missing the Netflix tadoom sound.
the only guy who is using the full potential of AI in the video
Reallyyyy underated channel , I am sharing this with all my friends
Loved it!!! ❤❤❤
Best explanation ever
11:48 shows the involvement of Tamil people in Singapore's growing stages.
Your content is inspirational. Keep it going brother
As always great leaders build great nations.
What an excellent video
I want to become a good politician or leader like Mr. Lee Kuan yew!
Lee Kuan Yew is what Indians thought Modi would be. A benevolent dictator.
Crazy research Varun dang!!!!!!
10/10 for thumnail and Title.
Transformation of singapore and transformation of India is immensely different, development of Singapore can be taken as a development of a city delhi ncr , greater mumbai , greater kolkata , bengaluru are bigger than Singapore in land area itself .
Bullshit.
If it wa that easy then why India failed to build even a single city with Singapore's gdp per capita level
@ government can’t just focus on one city right we are 1.5 billion people
@@ankandas8787 lol first make 1 city like Singapore atleast.
@ whatever dude we may have different views on differenct topics but it was nice debating dude
Yo, this is literally a masterclass in scaling systems and building something massive from nothing. Singapore's transformation is basically the ultimate startup case study. Here are the most fire takeaways for builders:
2:54 - Marketing is everything. They positioned Singapore like a premium product, making sure even the airport roads were pristine to impress visiting CEOs. Classic high-ticket offer psychology 💯
7:28 - Don't protect underperformers.
You are better than MKBHD’s studio!
Always love to watch these videos with inspiration but a startup like Nation building can sacrifice liberty if it becomes a monopoly like any startup. anyone with any example of subsidizing these power for more fair competition and efficiency
Remembered cosmos series... Good concept
how is this video trained on which models , is blender used in the production
Excellent video. On point story telling, no lags!
I’m categorised this in Documentary playlist…
People like you should be a Minister !
great video , great intro , tell me the policies that you would copy on building a country , like we build our own world in minecraft , , let us talk further about this , (if you wanna then reply to me)
❤❤❤ thank you for this video sir
the VFX or graphics is sooo better than aadipurush...
Varun, man, you're really good at what you do..! 👏👏👏
Another great content ❤
Bro's explanation 🚀🚀🚀
How long will it take to render this video.Just in a curious manner
Depends on the quality you want to export, usually it it takes one hour or even more if its higher quality
damn! what the video. this is sooo good
as a singaporean, all I gotta say is Alhamdulillah for God gifting us such good infrastructure to live in, It's great living here.
Wallahi
Arabs in singapore?
Ohh man, I am freaking jealous of you guys
@@NewstatePlayer100 yes Wallahi, I'm not Arab, rather I'm half malay, I'm muslim. Although there are many arab yemenis here whose ancestors were merchants and traders.
@@DreamyAmara It's not all sunshine and rainbows, my mom's malay and my dad's Indian, so I've lived in India for the past 5 years and I've even learnt urdu, I came back to singapore about a year ago to take my course in biomedical engineering. I miss India alot, It's not easy to transition from living in such a fun and interesting country to a really stagnant but comfortable life here in Singapore. I guess there are pros and cons to everything.
@kronoxodus319
Yep, you are right
But I am comparing Singapore to my current life in India, and I think in Singapore there are lot of opportunities compared to what there is in India in India much of the people are poor (considering the standards of Singapore) and I am one of them, I know that it's not all sunshine and rainbows but it's a lot lot lot better.
For more context to make it easy for you to understand, I am the person who has visited a metro city only once in my life and experience sitting and travelling in the metro only once in my life and even that was so big thing for me that I took 50 photos in a course of 5 minutes of travelling.
17:41 you are speaking to me in English, yes, and I understand it because it was taught well to me and I was good at learning it. but is this video limited to english speakers in India? if yes then what is the intention behind that? because that is a very small number.
Very informative video. I love your segue into the sponsored part of the video.
Video is fine - but you should have put Singapore in the title.
Road to 1 million 🚀🚀
I can see some serious efforts in Editing.
insightful and inspiring !
Lee's a genius.
Such good content and insights , i wonder why the viewership is so low, been following you guys since the beginning, keep uo thr good work 😊
How to approach you brother? I am interested to work with yaas!
Hi,
Send him mail parth bhaiya or try to connect with aevy tv that is his company
Varun, you didn’t you base your company in Singapore? Or are you planning an office?
After watching the last scene in the video, which felt like AI, but the whole video was spoken by the same Varun, either only the last part was his AI character, or Mannnn, I cannot make out the difference
Hi Varun, do you have any course so that we would know how to automate our own content for you tube? Is there a detailed video about how to use AI so that we can create our own automated video system?
There are no fully autonomous bro you still have to edit and write scripts.
6:15 Compete'E'nt 👀
Great video ❤❤
I really want to something about indian tech entrepreuners, why they are very less in india...hope the trend changes...who'll become the Elon of India
Singapore has a Single Party system advantage like China besides they dont have Federal structure of power and responsibilities division between state and center..
There are many other advantages like its small homogeneous society...but the question can Bharat built cities like Special Administrative regions like HK And Macau may be in Union territories..so the center can indepentely build these cities which are world class and other indian citizens cannot freely enter ensuring it does not have mass migration
wait a minute did you said that citizens cannot enter the region....
@shreyashsaste241 well if you have mass migration from under developed places like it's happening in Bangalore, Delhi, Mumbai then you are will be creating another region with beggars and slums..and additional unnecessary labour looking for jobs rather than attracting what's needed to make the place successful.
So a outsiders who are Indians can enter only if they secure a job or creating a startup there like it's done in places like Canada and Singapore..so SAR will be contributing to Indian GDP but will not become a chaos like the rest of India and Bharat will have a developed city that other cities will aspire to be
Singapore is definitely not homogenous
@@wassupguy1505 right it's not homogenous but the concept of SAR like in China can be applied where laws are managed differently, basically you are creating a mini independent adminstration to potentially speeden up the process of development.
Great representation ❤
Why is your videos audio so low compared to other videos
