    Stronger screws(with RPM Aarms) works fabulous. You get to keep the intended strength of the RPM as well!

    There is a hole on the bottom of the chassis that lines up with the plastic nut so you can take a small needle or pin or something and just push it out from the bottom. That's how I got my 2nd nut out after fighting with the first the way you mentioned.

    Cool.. that is a great tip. Keep in mind that all this can be picked up at your local hardware store. Cut to length and buy a screw. This way you can make them for all your rigs... Depending on how much it costs for the kit. It might be cheaper to make your own.... :) Thanks for the great idea. and the vid.

    Should the arms be going all the way through the front toe block for even more added strength? Thinking of DIYing this

    I have upgraded to the same steering knuckles. Every since I upgraded the links & steering knuckles, my Yeti isn't going straight. It tilts to the left direction.
    I also installed a Savox s646Wp waterproof servo and axial 25T aluminium horn to it.. made sure the steering is equal while tightening the servo heron to the servo.
    What could be the problem that it still moves slightly right when kept straight?
    Thanks.

      +Varun Sareen Dose this happen with full power applied or light throttle control?

    • @varunsareen4773
      @varunsareen4773 8 років тому

      +RC Overload It happens both ways.. I tried with less throttle .. It doesn't go straight ... With full throttle its the same ..

    can you please tell me what front shocks you have on your yeti in this video,and are you satisfied with their performance? I have tried a pair of proline ultra reservoir shocks(to my disappointment) then I got the Proline PowerStroke shocks(again I was disappointed) I have a lot of upgraded aluminium parts which adds to the weight of the rig overall. I love the PowerStroke rear shocks, but the front ones don't seem to be able to handle the weight which causes it to bottom out a lot, especially when jumping, which is what I like to do while I'm out just bashing around the property. The sound of it bottoming out is like nails on a chalk board to me. So if you could make some recommendations of some good shocks for my applications(what I'm putting my Yeti through) I would really like to stop wasting my hard earned money. Don't get me wrong, on smoother surfaces, such as asphalt and paved parking lots the PS shocks work great so far, don't have a lot of time on them but what little time I have on those types of surfaces they performed well. The ultra's were missing some of the seals right out of the box and were leaking like a siv. but the PL people are putting together a seal rebuild kit for both sets, so I'll be giving them another chance up front only though. They are not what you want for the rear. The PS-XT are the way to go in back. Sorry for the long comment but I'm at my wits end with this situation. And last but not least, if you are using a set of aluminium lower control arms do you think it is still necessary to install the strong arm sleeves, I also have the aluminium GPM: front bulk bead set,front bumper absorber set,gear box and chassis mount. Also the aluminium front bumper set which includes the skid plate/hing pin mount as well. l also installed STRC alum.front bumper mount,the steering bellcrank set, front body post mount, the steering posts, HD front shock tower. Besides the aluminium boom lower front control arms, I also installed the boom steering knuckles and caster blocks, the front shock tower extension, and the tie rod set. everything that makes the drive train is also aluminum(ex:HOT Racing trans.& transfer case. The Boom Alum. spur gear cover set and Axial hard anodized motor mount. So that pretty much covers the front. So I'm gonna assume you would probably suggest the installation of the strong arm sleeves, just don't like the idea of drilling through the aluminium control arms, however they do have plastic bushings, which if I'm lucky, I'LL be able to just remove and the sleeves will just fit right in. If you don't feel I need them please tell me so. I'm not rich and this is a project that has taken my cancer ridden uncle and I about 2 years to research, invest, and put together. I'm his caregiver and we live out in the country, as you can assume, no hobby shops in area so we depend mail order for everything. I would appreciate any advice you might be able to give. already spent roughly $250.00 on shocks from proline that are utterly useless. I talked him into those investments cause as far as I knew Proline were a quality product, but have found that to be untrue as of this project. He and I are doing this to bond before he leaves us, and it's making him happy too. That alone is worth it. We want to build the ultimate Yeti and are very close to finishing. just a couple more things to figure out, like the front shocks that can handle the weight and not bottom out when we jump this beast. The rear end or back half of this rig is another whole storey. I can send you pics if you would like to see our rig. He wanted it to be as scale as possible so that's why we chose the yeti. I'm painting the body to look like his truck. even trying to figure out a good lighting system. Any suggestions there would be welcome also. But right now performance is the most important thing to both of us. Aesthetics are the last part of it. Thanks again for taking the time to read this and even more so responding back with any advice would be great. Like I said, I'll send pis if you want just LMK. My name is Eric and My uncle's is Linard. TTYS
