Dear Jill, thank you so much for your response to my comments. I was in bed for three weeks so I was able to watch all your videos. I am a frugal minimalist so I very much appreciate your content. I do not only enjoy them but I also learn so much about your country and your people. You are more reliable source than the news. Your videos show reality and Hope altogether. Keep vlogging and you got me as your number one supporter, subscriber and friend. Please continue to mend and soon you’ll be able to shop and forage.
So glad you have started feeling better, but take care with that cough. Your plants look well cared for and obviously give you lots of pleasure. Hope you have a better week this week.
Hoping to each day finds you stronger and feeling better! First, how timely to find the planting pots! And secondly, that afternoon tea treat looked amazing! Glad you found such a great deal! 🙂
Hi Jill get some sticky traps for your plants, as the gnats and thrips will take over. Also sprinkle cinnamon on the top of the soil as the pests don’t like it. Get better soon. Peace 🧚
Hiya, I had my first ever scone in november when I was in hospital and it was a cherry one, it was a challenge as I needed to start eating better, and it was one of the most delicious things I ever ate. That was definitely a good thing to have at the garden center. I eat them every week now with butter and apricot jam. I also got poached fish in a fresh herb sauce in hospital which the nurse said was Dill, but she said you can also make white sauce for fish with parsley, so thats an option if you grow it. I recommend Dill too though, again a first time for me trying it! Really glad your feeling better and it didnt prevent u doing a video 🙂
So glad your feeling a bit better Jill. That scone defo made my mouth water haha.the plants are doing well I love plants I got spider plants every where as they are the one plant that dosnt die on me .I got a braubaune apple tree fir mother's day from morrisons ìve always wanted a tree can't wait till it grows fruit x
Glad your starting to feel better,I know of lots of people being ill at the moment .I bought some curled parsley, put on banking late last summer, so hasn't really grown much, hopefully this summer will produce some leaves. As someone who cycles to work and back I've never known so much rain,I think the high moisture even when sun does briefly come out adding to people's illness susceptibility. All the stress of news and social media can make you feel ill as well.Ive cut back a lot lately as I can't cope with the relentless negativity, this is why I like your trips out videos,a reminder of let's try and enjoy life ❤
Still having to search you out, I think youtube is trying to get rid of me!😂😂 I use parsley on anything with tomatoes like pasta, chilli con carne, or Italian stuff. I also use it sprinkled over my eggs and bacon, or chives. I have used it boiled up and drained, cooled, then given to my dog, cat and chooks to drink to get rid of intestinal worms. 😮 both my son's are in dire straights with there health, septisemia and inflammation of the heart, so are also having a rough time like you. 😢 they have been in emergency this week... I too, bought myself a treat at the Hospital to keep going. It is nice simply to not have to wash up isn't it?! More yellow leaves on the mulberry bush and we have an equinox on 20th, 25th partial eclipse then the biggest eclipse of the year on 8th April 😮😮 it is a full on time.❤❤
Parsley is a very good source of vitamin K. I use to be able to buy bug clumps oft from leeds market at a sensible price but now its very expensive and you get a small bit in plastic bag. Ive blended it up in water and just drunk the stuff, very good tonic health drink. X
That cream tea was a total spirit enhancer and you deserved this special treat. Plus it was not a whole lot of money neither. I was assuming you were sitting in a fine cafe having that lovely combo so I was surprised you told us you were in a garden Center. Good you treated yourself. Quick recovery to you Sue.

Yes. I have last years will have to put fresh ones out
If you put a shallow Tupperware with sugar water next to the plants, the Nats will try to drink the water, and they will drown in it

Yes, hope you get some good growth on yours 🪴
You can add parsley as a garnish to almost any dish. Also classic with fish.
