Hi guys! Everything is okay now, but I have been dealing with sick building syndrome for the last year. Even when I filmed my studio apartment tour a little over a month ago, I still wasn't quite sure, so I hadn't mentioned this in my previous videos. But once I figured it out, as I tell you in this story, I let the landlord know, and moved within a week. That apartment was home for a long time, so I have no hard feelings. But I wanted to share this story in case it can help anyone else. Thank you for watching 💕
So crazy Today I literally found mold or mildew all over the back of my rattan bookshelf right next to where I sleep and under my mattress that I just got this August because it was under my old mattress after I moved in about a year ago (which I chalked up to it being older) I can not believe this video popped up. I live in Cali across from the beach too in an apartment and have had a crazy cough for weeks and fatigue as of the last few days and definitely brain fog. I took a covid test and it was negative today. I just can not believe you posted this and it popped up on my feed today. So happy you are free and healing from an intense situation. I completely get the feeling of letting every one down I just thought I was getting constant germs from my kids school. Cleaning really well, ordered a new bed with a mattress encasement and got rid of the bookcase. I may try to get a test also but have had similar experiences when it comes to “alternative” testing and drs/insurance which is really ridiculous sorry you had to deal with all that. It’s crazy making for sure. Sending lots of healing energy and prayers your way and God Bless your new Beginnings ❤✨
Oh no! Although, good thing you found it! That's so soon for a new mattress to have visible mold on it... Is there anywhere that you could go for a few weeks to experiment and see if your symptoms dissipate? If you leave, my experience is that it hit me really hard, because the body is detoxing, and then the symptoms eventually alleviated or disappeared. Also, if you decide to ask for the test, I don't know if it helps, but what I was asking for was called a 'Mycotoxin test'. Your landlord could also call a mold specialist out to check... My friend lived in Redondo Beach, a few blocks from the beach, and she also had mold issues. Apparently, mold is common in beach houses. Glad you’re doing better.
Wow, what a story! I had visible mold in my old home before I moved, and I couldn't even breathe without allergy medications and developed a bunch of food and cosmetic sensitivities I'm still dealing with. So glad it resolved for you! Thanks for making this video. Best wishes!
Did it resolve for you also? Sorry you had to go through that. Such a bummer to have symptoms and not know why and or not be able to fix it quickly. Hopefully you are better now and healed up once you moved out also ❤

Wow! I understand why you were skeptical that the apartment was causing your distress. It was so beautiful, neat and well organized that one would hardly suspect that anything was amiss. However, your deductive reasoning seems to have solved the mystery. Good job and best of luck in your new place.

Did you notice any change in your dog? Do you think it impacted them as well? I hope the landlord is taking steps to rectify the issue and takes what you have gone through as serious. How frustrating to go to doctors and not feel heard. I'm so glad you are on the mend!
My goodness girl, you've been through the wringer! So sorry to hear this. You have such a beautiful disposition in your videos; I would have never thought you were going through something. My biggest disappointment in hearing your story, despite obviously losing your good health and lovely home, was your lack of open-minded, invested doctors. Why on earth are they so resistant in getting you the proper tests and screening?! Your own deductive reasoning and experimentation solved the problem. Thank goodness you trusted yourself. Awww, thank you so much 🥰 That was my biggest disappointment too- I know that there are many amazing doctors out there, but it felt like the particular doctors that I visited kept insisting on quickly medicating my symptoms, instead of being open to trying to help me figure out the cause. I'm grateful that it's over now, and so relieved that it ended up just being the apartment ❤️

Hello beautiful! Thank you for your reply. I own 17 semi trucks contracted to federal express but I started an export business with a partner. We traveled to a few resorts in the Caribbean islands and got contracts to ship their sundries, expensive clothing, jewelry, also beer, wine and spirits to them via containers we bought and ships we hire for deliveries. So far, we have a stop in Hamilton Bermuda, 2 stops in San Juan Puerto Rico, one in Punta Caña DR. Last week we signed Atlantis in The Bahamas. I am going to slowly sell off the truck contracts to my drivers who want to follow my path to ownership and concentrate solely on the export side of things. It’s been hella busy and a bit of a headache but super lucrative and promising so far. I guess you can say, I am decluttering my old business for something better and new. It hasn't resolved yet as far as food and chemical sensitivies, but I am breathing so much better! Still trying to solve it. Thanks@@sk8oasis788
