@mkrabc lol I wouldn't necessarily say 'girly' but I think there are a few interviews you can look up online where I think they talk about how early on in the band's years Dave was very reticent to be the front man due to things like shyness but they guys kept pushing him to BE the front man and I think he just grew into it so now he just lets his personality fly
