Here is a wonderful choral arrangement of the popular Coldplay song about the loss of a loved one and the challenges we all face in our daily lives. This flexible arrangement can be performed successfully with or without the small group part, with an SATB choir and a solo quartet, or with an SATB choir and a trio of treble voices. Make it your own.

This brought me to tears because my choir teacher just passed away and she always was the best at teaching me and my friends 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔
i did this song for highschool choir and the look of our director's face made me preen, he looked so proud
Best version for SATB choir!
sang this my senior year for choir. love this song.
After years of waiting, finally it's happening ✨✨
This was hauntingly beautiful.
When you try your best, but you don't succeed
When you get what you want but not what you need
When you feel so tired, but you can't sleep
Stuck in reverse
And the tears come streaming down your face
When you lose something, you can't replace
When you love someone, but it goes to waste
Could it be worse?
Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you
And high up above or down below
When you're too in love to let it go
But if you never try, you'll never know
Just what you're worth
Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you
Tears stream down your face
When you lose something, you cannot replace
Tears stream down your face and I
Tears stream down your face
I promise you, I will learn from my mistakes
Tears stream down your face and I
Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you
I keep coming back this over the years. To this day, this is one of the only choral arrangements of anything that makes me cry. I can’t wait to (hopefully 🤞) program this next year!
Can this be any better?! I’m crying.
Coldplay would be proud
Great arrangement
The tears stream part gets me every time 😭
frfr
Decent arrangement, if I may say so myself.
Amazing😍😍🔥🔥
Im giving this song to my chior teacher this year for the pop concert
Beautiful
Last page, "And ignore your bones." Either that's a typo or this song is REALLY about a bitter ex who's too passive aggressive for their own good.
That’s the lyrics of the song… I take it to mean trying not to think about someone
@@noahjaybee supposed to be ‘ignite your bones’ so yes it was a typo, but either way still isn’t about an ‘Ex’
It’s ignite your bones
It's about his wife who lost her father
It's about the author of the song trying to help his wife heal and find meaning in the wake of her father's death. ❤
When you’re sop 1 in this song😭
Now our choir version by Martin Seiler is in position 2 >_
who here from choir
Def not crying rn 😭
And ignite your bones
How can I get the PDF???
Did anybody else notice that the Alto and Tenor part are switch on the last page or is it just me?
