- With SMTV Vengeance about a week away, I wanted to list out some of my personal hopes and predictions for the game. I hope you all enjoy!

I hope yoko is related to Amaterasu who was weirdly absent in 5 considering we have susano and tsukuyomi
Yeah it would be nice to have the whole family back together!
I am currently so certain she is amaterasu. She already uses fire magic so she fits the mold. Shoot allow us to choose between her and Tao depending on route. But that might be far too much lol.
I don't remember when and where it was mentioned, but most Japanese gods in the story have been slain during the 18 years of conflict, perhaps even before that. Amaterasu is nowhere to be found, instead, Tao is kind of a generic goddess who aids Bethel (which is an argument against her being Amaterasu in the first place).
From the recent footage that was released some of these will definitely be coming. If I had some hopes for what would could happen. I hope there's another smt rep similiar to demi-fiend like godslayer nanashi or Seraph as brutal boss fights even if it makes no sense (basically fan service). Our past homies like amanozako, fionn, etc gets more time with the protagonist. And lastly let there be a passive that can increase the mc press turn count as an end game/postgame reward similiar to SMT 3 and DDS2 so solo runs can be more flexible.
Khonsu having a full animated cutscene has me most intrigued. Which is why I’m positive that Fionn and Shiva will get similar treatment… maybe not Amanozako because the achievement list and Save Transfer Bonuses skip over her.
5:02 If he will get same AI as he have in DDS that would be fun
For those who don't know: In DDS if you had any kind of immunity (passive skills, items or active skills) he casts Gaea Rage
That was my thought but it might be a bit more lenient where he’ll either allow Nulls but not Drains or Repels. Or he’ll just ban Null/Drain/Repel Physical
@@jaffinator2166 i fought him on an emulator and beat him after 10 tries. He does use gaea rage if your whole party has an innate phys null/repel. I learned this when i died to that.
5:25 Achievment list was leaked, and there is achievment for defeateng Satan
I saw the list and am happy that 8-Press Ishtar is an achievement 😁. Skipped over most of them though because I didn’t want spoilers but now here’s hoping it’s Apocalypse Satan

@@ShionKenobi I’m actually very curious about that one because I assume he’ll be the final part of the Kinitsukami/4 Deva Questline that just kind of… ended in the base game.
Well Satan's definitely in the game, remains to be seen which form, and the Ishtar thing you nailed right on the head lol 😂

While I know in my heart that it’s Kaneko Satan and the fight will essentially be DDS2 Satan but slightly easier, I’m praying for Apocalypse Satan.
My wish is for a nahobino Shiva fight . We only fought his demon form, so I want full power no holding back fight! When he opens his third eye I want him to incinerate me in my seat irl!
Lets be honest, even if Idun gets nerfed. We are still using her lol.
Also I do kinda want traits to be broken. But only if you use them right, a player that synergies traits together well should be rewarded heavily.

Yoko is a precious queen who must be protected at all cost!
I think it'll be an interesting complicated relationship, im sure at some point you'll probably be at odds with each other, but she'll come around to whatever your side is before the end of the game. I dont want her to be bad either she already one of my favorites😢

Hello, I have a question for you.
I don’t own a Switch so I never played the original SMT V (This will actually be my first SMT game though I have played the Persona series). I heard this game gives you the choice to follow the original story (Canon of Creation) or the new one (Canon of Vengeance). So, should I try Creation to experience the original story and understand what’s going on, or should I jump straight into Vengeance?
Hi there and thank you for reaching out. I would definitely say, for a newcomer, play the canon of creation first so you can better appreciate what changes in the canon of vengeance.

like from vengeance to cannon on creation ng+ with scaled level
like if i beat the game my first route at lvl 90 and just started NG+ the other route then first demons i see is around lvl90s
I bet each route starts with the cutscene where you can select either canon so it should be seamless from there.
(10) I mean in her human form she already had hamaon along with good support buff skills in shinjuku one would expect her to be better in goddess form
(11) Idk about that since Yoko looks seems more like magic based DPS more than anything
And I'll add one hope and prediction at the same time and it's that Yoko and Tao will respectfully be the new alignment reps for Chaos and Law. With how much time you're seemingly spending with them compared to the other guests, on top of that they ensue several morality dialogue choices for protag in their interaction and Why wouldn't the new atlus rerelease girl TM (that the whole game is about) get an ending while Tao seems like the most logical candidate to go against her in the alignment discourse.
(12) I've seen some magastsuhi that may look pretty strong like there's one that is Dark AOE Nuke and has the same effect as Tandava on enemies but on top of the defense, attack also gets fully debuffed and there's an another that deals almighty damage while halving enemies press turns icons for the next turn.
And they HAVE to do something with Amaterasu in this route.
Reason why I concluded what I did about Yoko is that I always imagined her being the opposite of Panagia Tao.
Tao had Light and Order, which was heal + Luster Candy + Dekunda
Yoko’s unique skill (which I’m going to affectionately call Darkness and Chaos) would be, in my head, Energy Debilitate + Dekaja + IDK Random Ailment maybe???
