@@clonewarsanakin7457 I've been using the perk on the assassin charm hysteria and its actually really damn good. Can get a whole wave to attack themselves if I get it off right
You are forgetting "Blessed strikes" for the samurai charm. It heals you for almost a quarter of your health bar per strike and as much as half of your health bar on kill. This makes it a better dmg and healing ability. The 10% Bonus to dmg stacks on top of another 22% dmg increase in your equipment makes it very helpful. Your build is fine for silver and can do good in gold I'm sure. But this is not a nightmare build.
Pro tip: Go to accessibility and turn on the visual option for incoming arrows 🏹 👀 it will make avoiding them much easier. Might as well turn on aim assist while you are there.
Very secure build. Caltrops are exchangeable. Haven’t found much use for them. I beat nightmare with just moon and wind. For the moon legendary Demon cutter sword. Parry leach, parry window combined over 21%, and I interchange Kunai and sticky bombs interchangeable for fun and combos!!!
I wouldn't skip on the smoke bomb, you can use your heavy attacks from water stance to do dmg while in the smoke, but most importantly I use it for picking people up surrounded by multiple enemies.
Exactly. I don't really want to use smoke bomb all the time but I feel like I need to incase people get downed in a tight spot. It is also convenient to get those critical strikes and insta kills when you are completely surrounded as well I suppose. I've rolled it for +25% stealth damage, 14% cool down, and lucky for that chance to get an instant recharge. Not the best but I'm just trying different perks until I get it right
I prefer the the dirt throw with weaken (enemies deal less damage and receive more) and it stuns /interrupts. The cool down is only 40 seconds so you can use it twice as much as the bomb also works great in nightmare mode
@Smash 03pha it's not stupid it's a challenge. Beat it 5 times already its doable. And if anything teaches you to not rely on them. My buddy only had 1 down too. Idk how he vibes like that lol.
@@breakthecode4634 I beat it as well, and I think it's stupid. People spent the first week farming to get good enough to try Nightmare, and then they change it so that the one build some people may have had time to complete is now near useless. This is coming from a Ronin that was not affected by the change in any way other than my teammates are even more worthless than they were last week. It's lame, and that's my opinion.
@@keskes1338 I can see why most people dont like it. I can say trying assasin on this week I had to adapt a much different playstyle. And i can see how if you were going for a specific build it becomes useless. And currency is hard to come by. I agree on that. But personally I liked it for that aspect as well. Cause you learn to not rely on them as I said. But yes that does suck.
"When you come to it and you cant go through it and you cant knock it down you know that you found....The wall, The wall, The wall...nothing on earth can make you fall."
I actually prefer the extra 10% damage from the skill tree on top of having additional melee damage with the katana and charm perks. And I prefer burning blade as well but that’s what works for me haha. This video was insightful though
Stone stance, plus resolve, spirit kunai or kunai or dirt throw n caltrops or demon seeds with 2 3 1 siphon build. Only if you know your perfect counter timing N rhythm. The triangle on stone stance is great when it hits.
If you have the proper stance, the bomb will knock them and take a chunk out of their stagger gauge. If you then attack with the proper stance you will often completely delete an enemy while retaining your mobility in case an Oni decides to charge or something like that. With the crows in particular, doing one of the critical strikes will leave you exposed to getting lazered down by them. Also, the healing legendary bomb heals WAY faster than the smoke, which heals overy time if you stay within it. However, both are viable for sure.
Smoke bombs are great, but save them for when your entire team is down or when you are trying to do a risky revive. Critical strikes and assassinations become useless in the nightmare survivals because of the fire spirits raining shots down on you. You won't be able to cancel the animation and you'll be stuck to take the artillery hit which can potentially one shot you if it hits you the right way.
@@gabrielschneider6406 yep, you're right. The ronin should be the one to revive first if they have their revive ready. If not, then assassin should be next in line to revive. It would still be useful for the other classes to have that utility to vanish just in case the ronin doesn't have their ult ready or they are down and there is no one around, but you.
A couple of users mentioned using Blessed Blade instead for the Samurai Charm. YES!!! That's much better! I had some doubts about it's effectiveness when doing this video but I tried it again in a couple of matches and it IS much better! Definetely use that! Using blessed strikes with explosive blade is so good, you get a ton of health and you deal extra AOE damage, especially if you use something like water stance that has multiple sword hits in a short ammount of time. It’s my go to setup Edit: forgot to say, if you pop your ult while you have explosive blade active, you get full health back as the blessed strikes work even in the ult
@@gustavosilveira691 yes I have tried this and it works really well. However I still think the explosive blade kind of forces you to get hits and sometimes that just isn't an option. If you pop it and then need to take cover or back off to dodge an attack, you are left with no hits from it and no blessing either, putting you in a real bad spot until the cool down is over.
Hmm I was thinking similiar to the 10% melee damage, but thought that there might me some multiplicative calculations with some item stats or something similiar where the 10% would actually make sense. Maybe useful when you go full damage build, so you a few hits for free.
I prefer the 5 hits on hachimans as I don't feel like having 2 legendaries makes enough of a difference.. like you said, water and moon is all you need...I would need to test out wind stance on nightmare because there is a lot of those spear oni that are extremely annoying to break
Using the wind stance against spearmen renders them a complete non issue! Do you mind sharing your PSN to me on twitter or something? I'm looking for people to play with!
I'm playing a slight variation on this build using the legendary kunais and caltrops. For the sword, I find water stance plus way of the flame is more than sufficient to deal with anything, and with the kunai, you'll have it pretty much whenever you need it. The cooldown on the bomb is too long to allow for consistent healing, while the kunai will allow for 100% uptime on spirit pull. The caltrops will apply weaken, which will help your party's sustainability and damage, and with the kunai will often allow you to lay several at once. Damage increase (only buffs kunais and caltrops) and cooldown reduction on both, with super massive on the kunai and deep bags on caltrops. And since the kunai allows your spirit pull to always be up, you can instead take the 25 health, which is actual pretty useful. It's a 25% increase, and in my experience, if a samurai is gonna die, it's gonna come from the odd massive barrage of attacks (such as being juggled after taking a sledge hammer from an oni); if you can survive that, it's usually easy enough to roll away long enough to heal.
Thank you for making this video! I‘m quite new to legends but this helped me to improve my own builds and gave me new insights. I will take any help i can get because for now I‘m still trying to get the hang of playing nightmare.
I think the combat regeneration wasn’t needed for your build you could of just as easily used blessed strikes to go with your cooldowns being reduced for spirit pull at the same time you can use the smokebomb with reduced cooldown rolls making it easier to be the wall saving and stalling on points, the smoke bomb is pretty clutch and saves your assassin and teammates a use on their own smokebomb and if you run munition your doing a whole lot for your team besides just surviving on the point. You can also combo Blessed Strikes,Spirit Pull, and your ultimate to fully go back to full health if you are in a pinch.
this isn't shown in the video bc I don't think they unlocked it yet, but blessed strikes on a samurai charm is sick. what it does is, once you pop your ability, all of your hits will give you a generous amount of health. i use that with my explosive blade & my ult. so I pop the explosive blade to give my ult more damage & with the blessed strikes, I get a ton of health back.
Very nice, i like that you actually explained why on everything. I would go with the stone cutter if i had it though, so you still have that heavenly strike available. I have gotten literally 6 masamune legendary swords... Lol
You should try using explosive blades with blessed strikes and the spirit Kumar with super massive perk. As soon as you finish using explosive blades you bring an enemy to low hp then use spirit kunai making cool downs decrease by 15 seconds making explosive blades come back in like 7 seconds. Another thing is that spirit Kunais own cool down gets reduced as well so after blessed strikes it has like a 5 second cool down. It’s crazy
samurai build use explosive blade and whatever sword you prefer with way of the flame on it, activate either or both then use heavenly strike for big damge roll for any kind of resolve gain status effect damage or melee damage
I wish they had a 1v1 duel mode or a 4v4 with randoms that would be cool just so you could show off your combat skill and see how you stack up to other players
I think you need a completely different combat system for that. It would boil down to who throws the smoke bomb sooner while catching the other one in it's range.
I'm using a build focused on perfect play, which means you must NOT get hit. I'm using the samurai charm with the Rising Tempo perk, then I rolled a lot of counter damage and two perfect parry windows and one ultimate cooldown reduction, using the Master Katana with the perk that makes perfect parry counters do an explosion 50% of the times. The goal is to not get hit so that your Rising Tempo buff doesn't drop and perfect parry the shit out of anything inside the zones, then you pop Hachiman's Fury to take down the tougher Onis and explosive blades for that as wel. It's very high risk high reward style of build and I am thoroughly enjoying it.
For more specifics: you'll need either Master's Katana or the Demon Cutter (imo Master's works best), any bow pref with resolve gain so you can farm some resolve at range if needed, Samurai charm, Dirt throw with Parry Window increase, rancid and status effect increase and caltrops with Status Effect increase and Melee Stagger Damage (pref Fire as the perk). You mix and match until you have at least 24% parry window increase so you can consistently pull off the perfect parries, counter damage to at least 40% and any leftovers should go to either Melee Resolve gain or Ultimate damage (since you'll do a lot of perfect parries, you'll be swimming in resolve anyway). Oh yeah, and for the sword it is a must the Intimidating Counter perk and for the samurai charm to have the Rising Tempo perk. I didn't test it thoroughly but from the wording in Rising Tempo, it doesn't have a time limit or a cap, so you can stack melee damage indefinitely as long as you don't take damage. Of course, with this build you'll hate the Tengu crows with all your heart... Edit: yeah, if you are some sort of parry god you can forego all the parry window increases (except for dirt throw, since it doesn't have anything good other than this) and stack just counter damage and ultimate damage or even melee damage increase to your heart's content. I just feel that having above 24% makes parrying really easy.
@@nick6909 yuhp, the crows are the counter, otherwise it is completely viable. Also, my partner was an assassin, with a build specifically to one shot the Tengus and free me from the crows.
The samurai class is the best class in the multiplayer mode.why ? Because it’s efficient, well balanced and can be extremely dangerous in the right hands of a samurai player, provided u have the proper load out.The water stance + water master perk alone is enough to carry you either through the early few rounds survival and story mode.If you want to be an efficient and fast killer, don’t waste your time with bow & arrows and ghost weapons, they just slow u down as well as the pacing of the game.Just time your rolls and dodge to move away from tough situations and when it gets too crowded call upon “ Hachiman’s Fury “ for crowd control lol lol.And just like a real samurai u must always play on the offensive because that’s your best defense. As for charms, get something that helps with melee stagger, counter parry(if your parrying skills are good)or anything that contributes to health or resolve. And while your at it,try and get the highest percentage gains for those perks as well by crafting them individually. And one last thing,I can’t stress this enough please take out any surrounding archers first before going after any other enemy coz they have exceptional aim and that also target your movement as well.Believe it or not these archers take a good chunk of your health with just one or two cheap shots, especially the flaming archers. They are very annoying and can often interrupt your kill streak or kill you easily just as your about to revive someone and we all know that has happen a lot for many of you including myself,it also makes it easier to focus on killing the rest of the enemies in your way.The samurai class have so much potential it’s often overlooked. In survival mode even on Gold difficulty it is highly possible that 4 samurai players can hold down each area of the map on their own.I have often come to the rescue of my fellow teammates during impossible odds and it feels good knowing that they can rely on me yet when they have other cool abilities that a samurai just don’t have lol.I will never play with any other class other than the samurai.Because just like the samurai I can not dishonor the code.Enjoy and bring honor to the ghosts of Tsushima.
He must not know about Blessed Strikes with Explosive Blade (and Water Stance at the very least but I recommend Water Master as well). It has all the effects of Explosive Blade (extra damage, splash damage, knockback on everything except epic oni) but Blessed Strike heals you for far more than Spirit Pull. In fact it overheals. On cool down I swing into any group of enemies I want and even if it's a group of epic oni I can survive whatever they can dish out because I'm overhealing for so much. Not only am I overhealing but I am also getting tons of splash dmg and tons of resolve gain. It's beautiful.
Siphon +1 on the Samurai Charm with Blessed Blade makes you a brick wall, you can basically hold a point entirely on your own even if it’s completely overrun
Have you tried them on nightmare though. Gold difficulty can be pretty easy even with characters that aren't ranked up all the way. Nightmare survival is completely different.
If you're gonna use the samurai charm then you should just take blessed strikes, it paired with moon master makes you unkillable for the duration of your spirit pull.
caltrops and dirt aren't in the same skill option. Dirt is one and caltrops is two. Dirt, sticky bomb, and kunai are together. Caltrops, smoke, and gourd are together.

Thank you! Glad you appreciate it. I'm actually playing with the assassin right now and trying some things out to make a build for it. I plan on doing builds for all classes eventually. The Assassin is very special. The Stealth playstyle is kind of ill-suited for a survival mode but he obviously excels at taking down the harder units. I'm particularly interested in trying some radical, non-intuitive things out to see if they work effectively. Video will probably be out early next week.
@@monoespacial I'll take a look. Got like 4 build setups for everything exept samurai. Theres only one way to play samurai imo. Resolve gain ult dmg and masamune for 10 instakill ults. 5 resolve.
Blessed strikes for your samurai charm is by far the best as it allows you to heal per hit while your siphon is active. The more dmg you do, the more you heal. I have prevented wipes on nightmare modes and raids many times because of this. Also I would avoid the two legendary perk. Samurai should focus on master's katana though. When you get into nightmare modes, you need the extra damage from the additional hachiman's fury strikes to instantly kill or drop the toughest oni to very low hp. Otherwise great tips, I didn't know assassin benefits from staggered enemies, so poison may be useful if you are staggering oni.
2 legendaries on a Samurai build? Yes. Masamune’s edge with water stance and spirit kunai. With blessed strikes on the samurai charm and spirit pull, you’re basically immortal. Masamune’s edge with water stance is OP. It melts everyone.
Glass Cannon Samurai is near as devastating. Pulling 250 kills per match for my team. It makes the 10% Melee so much more productive. If you have 36% Melee Increase damage on equips, 10% from Skill and then the 20% chance of double damage from Masamune's Edge, some hits take a quarter of a gauge from a Brute. Pair all this with Fire DOT tools and enemies drop remarkably fast. But since your sacrificing health for DPS, you have to be quite evasive and not get tunnel vision. It's a style that really is risk vs reward. Good guide on a tough, durable style Samurai. 👍
Why not use Blessed Strikes on the samurai charm? I feel it is far more fullfilling, and heals you for an insane amount if you take Moon Master on the Master Katana. The 3 spinning strikes on Moon Master have hyperarmor and deal a LOT of damage, so you can just power through hits because of the rapid heal. Edit: The Moon Master strikes can even deal both melee and stagger at the same time.
Yes, rethinking this, Blessed Strikes are better for the charm. I find spamming the 3 strikes doesn't deal as much stagger or damage compared to just kicking them. Kicking does far more stagger damage, faster, which means enemies stop attacking. The 3 spinning strikes are good if you're surrounded but also means you're stuck in a pretty long attack that often results in getting hit more. A lot of people really like it. I'm... torn on it.
With water and explosive blade they can't block. One combo can kill almost anything with blessed strikes you'll never ask for ronin heals. I run the 15% cd reductions one extra resolve and the plus two to frenzy. So ill do frenzy pop explosive blade and get the two resolve i need to keep moving. I run dirt throw and smoke bomb.
@@manasuars.3341 Explode blade with ability cd reduce + blesssed samurai charm + legendary kunai reducing 15 secs = win. Explode blade + way of flame swing at nightmare oni and then heavenly strike and then keep dps. explode blade = always sustain with legendary kunai
nice build for overall balance. my build goes for destroying an entire army within 3s.. its 2 versions which has super armor, melee resolve , injured resolve with the explosion blade which when I take damage my resolve comes back quicker with the 2 extra strikes for my ultimate.. gears must sit on ultimate dmg on the sword and charm which is the melee charm, the sword has burning blade and the charm also has fire dmg and fire master which case alot of dmg as it a status effect. kunai has the extra dmg and knocked down lighter enemies and the gourd is for me to heal myself and has the strong brew and reduce cooldown on kill because it stacks.. its good if ur running survival with randoms..
I disagree with your statement about heavenly strike it's a very clutch move when your team are randoms with low dps potential. And as long as you have resolve gain on your weapon you'll gain resolve back very quickly so resolve cost shouldn't matter. It makes dealing with oni a breeze and makes dealing with stalling less about stalling and more about securing a area by yourself. While your team deals with the immediate threat.
Melee stagger dmg is how much your melee attacks stagger an enemy (How fast the white bar depletes). Stagger damage is the bonus damage dealt to enemies after you break their defense (staggered).
I don't know why this video was included in my recommendations. Your build is not for a nightmare. I think 25 health is best option in 1st talent, even 10% melee is better than 15% cooldown reduction. Kunai and healing gourd have better suitable properties for samurai. Melee damage on items wherever possible, for stagger damage you have master katana and propper stance for each enemy. More targets for life lich on trinket is musthave, gives a lot of overhealing and a chance to live when everything go wrong and you take unplanned damage.Forget about second legendary item and take 2 more targets for hatimans what gives an option to kill one badass spear oni or make two oni cripples. I understand what I'm talking about 250-300+ kills on all nightmare survival from the first week.
This all based on using moon stance heavily. Water is fast, with heavenly strikes... I can read a bed time story to the crow onis while taking damage. To each his own I guess
7:10 why would poison blade be better than something like way of the flame? Poison let's you get past the armor faster if you're able to land a hit but fire let's you bypass the armor altogether. I can maybe understand it on the assassin but why samurai?
Poison is useless tbh. Especially on nightmare where you only have small openings for agression. I'm 317 on the leaderboard when I checked and trust me. If your not using masters katana use way of the flame. Every time.
@@bubukhan7042 you just have to keep rerolling. You can only accept one rerolled perk before you have to reforge the entire item... so basically unless you like two out of three stats, reforging the item is the best option
Caltrops are utter trash especially in nightmare. Run smoke bomb in order to disengage. Gold is pretty easy no matter your build so it’s not as important. Building for a nightmare run requires tons of strategy and specific builds. Smoke bomb with leech will allow you to sit in the smoke passively after you disengage while syphoning health from the enemies allowing for a soft reset and for backup to come.
You mentioned about the 10% extra damage that an enemy with 500 dmg, you'll only deal 495 dmg with 9 hits and will regardless need the 10th Hit. This should be wrong since 10% is an extra 50 dmg stacked on all total hits, in the end only requiring 8 hits. Not including the other melee dmg increases.
Yousef Ayman if it's 50 dmg per hit to reach 10 hits of 500 dmg. On 8 hits that's 400dmg + 40dmg. + Your other melee multiplier of 20%, that's additional 80dmg + 40dmg. That means you only need 8 hits ? Instead of saying go back to school, you can explain
The background for the period of the game [History] is incorrect. For example, the Japanese soldiers' armor and costumes and Japanese architecture in this game are from the late 16th century, not the late 13th century (at the time of the Mongol invasion).
I don't see this build working that effectively on nightmare survival, 25 health is a lot, especially if you have damage reduction, and leeching parry is the only viable option if you wanna hold a nightmare survival capture point by yourself without relying on others, that leg katana is shit for tanking, waste of slot, just go for moon with moon master, sticky bomb legendary takes too long to recharge to be relied on and takes a leg slot, caltrops has nothing useful for samurai and tanking and has a long cooldown too, the perks for the gear you have aren't good either..
@@JT-wo7nx explosive blade with blessed strikes the healing is insane and you can completly ignore shields and healing gourd with increased healing and dmg reduction. And masters katana is a huge waste. Nobody needs 4 stances if you are good and masamune gives an average dmg bonus of around 20% and use dirt throw with rancid instead of this garbage bomb, cooldown is way to long. The build shown is absolute thrash, nowhere near to be a good build for nightmare survival.
Use Masters Katana with Way of the Flame, use the explosive special so enemies die faster, and use the technique that lets you use 5 strikes of the Hachimans Fury. Get a drinking gourd to replace health while you are in the middle of combat, and use a sticky bomb with Fired up. Use the Samurais charm to make your Samurai overall better. I know this works, because i’ve completed two of the nightmare survivals with the build i mentioned above. What’s very very very important, is that you have atleast 2 ronin in your squad. I’m sure it’s possible to beat nightmare survival without any ronins but i’m also sure it’ll be fucking agonizing and tricky to say the least.
Burning blade is going to have way more uptime than way of flame. Sure you deal insane damage during way of flame, but it only lasts like 5 seconds so if you get hit or the enemy dodges it’s wasted. Burning blade essentially has a 10% chance for way of flame to randomly activate on a single hit. It’s always there and there’s no chance that you’ll just waste the fire
@@RockyLXXXVIII none of that matters tho because if you use it right you should only use it vs bigger guys and it breaks threw their shield and kills them fast as fuck. Its so good in story missions. And survival im usually the hunter because its easily the most OP class. Also the touch of heaven fucking sucks it's legendary effect only really works if your hugging the enemy use rancid dirt instead to break guard interrupt attacks and weaken them works great on oni
No, no, no. Samurai Charm with Blessed Strikes plus Leech makes you un-killable. I use explosive strikes specifically because with blessed strikes the leech over heals and gets wasted with all the healing when I am already 100% after 2 attacks. Blessed Strikes, Explosive Strikes, Moon Master on Master's Katana let me face tank being hit by crows, a spear oni, and an oni archer on Gold all hitting me at the same time. You could triple the damage you can take with Leech and blessed strikes. Literally the only way to die is by not attacking at all or 1 single attack hitting for you entire health bar in one instance of damage, and I haven't encountered an attack with that much damage even in all my nightmare runs. If you want to really push the healing to overly pointless levels, Samurai Charm with Blessed Strikes, Moon Master Master's Katana, Leech, and Spirit Kunai (with super massive so you don't accidentally kill an enemy trying to get him low enough) makes you virtually un-killable at all times. Get insta-healed by leech and blessed strikes when low, then kill two enemies with Spirit Kunai and Leech almost instantly comes off cool down, if you kill two enemies with the Spirit Kunai it takes 30 seconds off ALL of your cooldowns. That's what I use when I am solo running nightmare runs for specific objectives. You then have a free slot for your second ghost tool, either the gourd for even more healing in case you mess up the Kunai double kill or Smoke bomb to slow the fight down and make sure you can get two kills with the kunai.
If you're still playing, dont gamble your hard earned honor away and end up with shittier rolls than you started with. Save your GoT game file to the cloud before you roll. Then if you crap out on your rolls, you can just download that file that you saved, and get all your honor back and roll again. Some may say it's a cheat, but that honor is too hard earn to just throw it away on dice rolls

I've rolled it for +25% stealth damage, 14% cool down, and lucky for that chance to get an instant recharge. Not the best but I'm just trying different perks until I get it right
Smoke bomb with lucky perk is so damn good with assassin. Legit can get 5-8 assassinated in a row
Yup, and it gives you time while spirit pull recharges, black powder can interrupt same as caltrops anyway.. seems like a no-brainer
I prefer the the dirt throw with weaken (enemies deal less damage and receive more) and it stuns /interrupts. The cool down is only 40 seconds so you can use it twice as much as the bomb also works great in nightmare mode
That's a great variation!
Not for this weeks nightmare it doesnt. Enemies are immune to many status effects. I think hallucination still works

Dude, that was an amazing guide and build that is very thorough and informative. Thanks, and keep up the good work! You got my subscription.
this upsets me. This build is horrible. You got tricked, run!
Stone stance, plus resolve, spirit kunai or kunai or dirt throw n caltrops or demon seeds with 2 3 1 siphon build. Only if you know your perfect counter timing N rhythm. The triangle on stone stance is great when it hits.
Smoke bomb is actually insane: you pop one in the middle of a group of oni and can get 2 or 3 critical strikes in and take a ton of their health
This is a good build. I’m currently running a perfect party build and it’s amazing I’ll probably give this one a go

Also, new Assassin BUILD (Very OP): ua-cam.com/video/L1FujAAXnWA/v-deo.html
Using blessed strikes with explosive blade is so good, you get a ton of health and you deal extra AOE damage, especially if you use something like water stance that has multiple sword hits in a short ammount of time. It’s my go to setup
Edit: forgot to say, if you pop your ult while you have explosive blade active, you get full health back as the blessed strikes work even in the ult
Add me I’ll play with your brother psn:madd_hatter10
Which charm is that
Hmm I was thinking similiar to the 10% melee damage, but thought that there might me some multiplicative calculations with some item stats or something similiar where the 10% would actually make sense.
I haven’t tried moon stance but wind stance is definitely useful
Those spear men can be broken with the water stance very effectively cause they’re technically wielding shields
@@theinfamoushunter8418 yeah, but the boss version doesn't use a shield
On nightmare you need most stances to be the most efficient.
Would be awesome if we can bring those badass armor back to story mode
Samurai Charm with Spirit pull +1 and blessed strikes is amazing, you don’t need combat regen.
Yeah, I've added that correction to a pinned comment!
Jeps im usin that one! Very good combo
Theres a skill on samurai charm that mAkes explosive blade heal u which makes it really really good heals u way more than spirit pull

It’s crazy
samurai build
use explosive blade and whatever sword you prefer with way of the flame on it, activate either or both then use heavenly strike for big damge
roll for any kind of resolve gain status effect damage or melee damage
That’s kind of impossible on nightmare difficulty lol
@@isandrooo yea I had a build like that, the crow guys make it impossible on nightmare

I mean you can do that without those. I use 5 resolve for fast double ult. Clears the wave nicely.
Have you tried them on nightmare though. Gold difficulty can be pretty easy even with characters that aren't ranked up all the way. Nightmare survival is completely different.

Thanks dude! Glad you appreciate it!
Little tip, you can block the tengu crows.
do you have to have the technique that lets you block arrows?
@@kurtbraun2807 no
How to block them?
I said it. Literally just block. L1
You WHAT? I COULD HAVE BLOCKED THEM ALL THIS TIME? Wow
Having almost the same build. But damon cutter with master moon is awesome
One combo can kill almost anything with blessed strikes you'll never ask for ronin heals. nice build for overall balance. my build goes for destroying an entire army within 3s.. its 2 versions which has super armor, melee resolve , injured resolve with the explosion blade which when I take damage my resolve comes back quicker with the 2 extra strikes for my ultimate.. gears must sit on ultimate dmg on the sword and charm which is the melee charm, the sword has burning blade and the charm also has fire dmg and fire master which case alot of dmg as it a status effect. kunai has the extra dmg and knocked down lighter enemies and the gourd is for me to heal myself and has the strong brew and reduce cooldown on kill because it stacks.. its good if ur running survival with randoms..
Not enough people understand it's utility unfortunately.

Melee stagger damage vs staggered damage? Which one is better?? Thanks!!
Melee stagger dmg is how much your melee attacks stagger an enemy (How fast the white bar depletes). Stagger damage is the bonus damage dealt to enemies after you break their defense (staggered).
Thank you!!
Blessed strikes on samurai charm is better :) heals you whener you hit a target while using spirit pull
Melee damage is still good to take if you have it on gear as well 🤗
This all based on using moon stance heavily. Water is fast, with heavenly strikes... I can read a bed time story to the crow onis while taking damage. To each his own I guess
Moon stance with moon master is wayyyyyyy better than water... add super armor and its unstoppable
I'm sorry I had trouble understanding what you say because of the epic background music.😍
Would you not want to take ultimate damage over melee damage?
7:10 why would poison blade be better than something like way of the flame? Poison let's you get past the armor faster if you're able to land a hit but fire let's you bypass the armor altogether. I can maybe understand it on the assassin but why samurai?
Both are great. Poison will deal stagger damage faster which means disabling enemies faster
Poison is useless tbh. Especially on nightmare where you only have small openings for agression. I'm 317 on the leaderboard when I checked and trust me. If your not using masters katana use way of the flame. Every time.

Wow I can actually match this set up 1 for 1
Caltrops are utter trash especially in nightmare. Run smoke bomb in order to disengage. Gold is pretty easy no matter your build so it’s not as important. Building for a nightmare run requires tons of strategy and specific builds. Smoke bomb with leech will allow you to sit in the smoke passively after you disengage while syphoning health from the enemies allowing for a soft reset and for backup to come.
does legendary caltrops worth it?(its passive weaknes the enemy and u could add additional light fire/larger radius)
yes definitely, if you have a fire damage build it’s op
For sure!
Nahh u should go back to school
Water stance Is way better than moon stance tho
So what are you suggesting
@@JT-wo7nx explosive blade with blessed strikes the healing is insane and you can completly ignore shields and healing gourd with increased healing and dmg reduction. And masters katana is a huge waste.

Is it me or samurai hit much faster than other class
Why would you do burning blade when you can do way of the flame witch is op.
I wanna build a wall
epic
yeah... im buying the game
Bro samurai is so good survival on gold is literally a breeze me and my friend carry cause people don’t know how to use ronin or assassin
Blessed blade is great for the samurai charm
If you're still playing, dont gamble your hard earned honor away and end up with shittier rolls than you started with. Save your GoT game file to the cloud before you roll. Then if you crap out on your rolls, you can just download that file that you saved, and get all your honor back and roll again. Some may say it's a cheat, but that honor is too hard earn to just throw it away on dice rolls
I don't think having extra resolve is actually really good at all cause most the time when you get your ult you should be using it to kill shit in a wave so having an extra one does almost nothing tbh
That extra will just make it so you can have your ult more often. You shouldn't use your ult as soon as it becomes available
@@monoespacial if your not using it then why have it you know having extra resolve is if you are using a resolve based build when the samurai is ment to face tank and deal damage he should prioritize dodge skill buff instead for easier time in the groups fights makes it much easier to get around
Now do dps only and see how much damage can you do at max
Lol. Great minds think alike!
@@monoespacial I found out I can max out my stealth attacks damage to 73% and put oni damage on my sword and I almost one shot a oni he just got 1 tiny bit of hp left almost forgot I had assassinate from above 18% on to
But at that point why not play Assassin? I tried a couple of dps builds for the samurai yesterday. None are as effective as the Assassin to be honest.
@@monoespacial I was going to make a max damage samurai he can get up to 36% melee damage and and even get melee staggered damage to 36% and 10% from his perk he go to 82% not to mention there a sword that has a 20% change to do double damage so he could almost get to the assassin we would have to test it anyways to see how high the damage is I mean I would but honor is hard to get
I just look at the ronin and found out he can do more melee damage then a samurai because of his bomb pack has melee stagger damage sort of but he get a extra 12% but I recommend testing the samurai first if you can because the ronin can only get stagger damage not staggered damage and I look at samurai again and saw rising tempo as one of his 3 perk on his samurai charm making him do even more damage
@@monoespacial I have done it almost made a max damage samurai and it really good I am 2 to 3 sometimes 4 hit on normal enemy oni enemy are quicker to take down but it hard to stagger them might switch the staggered damage to oni damage instead but it really good got 296 kills on survival gold I am missing one thing on it because of bad luck on the reroll but it great regular oni can be take down easy but super oni the glowing purple one still take a bit but it will do until I get the right reroll if I had water stance master it would be op but sadly the sword I'm using can't get water master because it a wind sword with 20% chance to do double damage
Ah. Yes. Trump's build.
It would be cool if the ghost of tsushima has something like battle pass of cod. It would be another content to do :) it would be awaome
lmao
I like this dlc but there are are a lot of worthless character techniques and gear talents
bruhhhhh........... blessed strikes on the charm?!?!?
Yup... I thought it only worked with explosive blade for some reason... I've pinned a comment correcting that.
Anybody wanna be friends on psn for the raid comment below your PSN names
The Samurai demands the Master katana..... lives and dies by the Perfect Parry..... most Samurai builds are TRASH button mashers.... the "Wall" is supposed to get the attention center stage and not take hits..... FEEL MY BLADE.!
