I'm guessing this is the first time they've met face to face in a long while, so maybe after getting discovered Michael just yote outta there? Also why not, this song is the first angsty song Michael wrote in the first place, and since Jer had blocked out all things Michael (no thanks to Squip), this is his first time hearing it (AND REALIZING WHAT IT MEANS!!). How off was I? Though that's just an idea ^-^ maybe I'll get around to writing a fic using that same premise, idk. I'll def link this if I do tho :D
