I have a 2004, W203, C180 Kompressor, 6-speed manual and FACELIFT. Facelift means, dual-dial meter at the dash, revised gearbox than the pre-facelift. Its a 1.8 engine, black-top, 143hp, can easily tune-up to match the C200 Kompressor which uses the same engine. Fellows with mindset, "manual, patut jual murah", can go away! I've never seen any facelifted, manual in Malaysia, only pre-facelift with big dial speedo. I hope to find people like u, Eu Jin. People who really appreciate manual cars. And, I am the first owner in the geran too! The car was imported by me, and I am the second owner from new. Made in Germany, not Pekan, nor Japan. And please dont expect can get to match the current market price for a similar year-made car with the 5G-Tronic tranny.
i was looking for 1 of the rare original VW rims in the market, searching high and low and finally found it in KOR. 👍🏻 to add on, it was MCO and no interstate travel, Jeff was kind enough to Lalamove those rims over to my place as well. Very responsive on replying messages too (not those layan tak layan type).
My E36 still having the original classic BBS including the spare wheel. Somehow feel E36 looks more modern than the wheel but since they’re original, just keep it that way.
I never thought a guy like eu jin own a drive a classic car like E36,he must be driving cars that worth hundreds thousand today like the AMGs,Civic Turbo,R35 or New M series like M850i He drives 😅
For someone that talk about automotive content you seem to know very little about the aftermarket parts of the automotive industry. Also you need to lower that BMW looks like a 4x4
it's probably the most affordable BMW to maintain but it's still not cheap in the grand scheme of things. Most replacement/wear and tear parts (even brand new) are still easily available. get a good base to start with, as unmolested as possible. find a good mechanic for it (there's plenty in this community) and you should be fine. be prepared to spend in the initial stages, and best to learn bout the car...blindly changing may not necessarily solve your problems.
