      I watched u at that time too on the PBS channel in Iowa. Loved ur show. Great tip. 66 and stsrted new lov for sewing. Great tip. .

    thank you Nancy, just happened upon this by chance, I'm not a big sewer, but will be now that I know there is an easy remedy to sharpening the blade, really I thought you had to purchase a new one.
    Am a new subscriber, God Bless you !

    Great video!
    I have found that many of these sharpening devices produce inconsistent results, and often wear out before being cost effective. It's not expensive or difficult to have rotary blades professionally sharpened.

    Why does my blade go dull so quick? It seems like I get one good cut and its dull. I must be doing something wrong

    the wavy edged cutters can they be sharpened?

      No, unfortunately the wavy edged blades can't be sharpened. But they're of great quality and last quite awhile! :)
