Is no one going to talk about why the captions are so sexist? 1:57 "too bad it's a woman on a bike..." 2:28 " she's trying to keep up with her guy obviously not capable of doing it.. so.. don't do it" then showing her boyfriend running a red and leaving her out to dry basically causing the accident. Both of the riders were astoundingly reckless but why blame her? This dude consistently choosing to have the worst opinions on all the footage he takes.

@AngryDirtBiker honestly dude is right. Lots of the clips are just a hole bikers. I rode like an a hole too so I get it. Also lots of unnecessary fights started and you embrace it.
I get it people are dicks and try to kill bikes but being right and being safe are 2 separate things. I don't really get the sexism thing but your takes on these clips are def an issue.

Are you serious? It's absolutely noones fault but hers. It's her decision to just keep going. She sees the red so she has to stop! It doesn't matter if she just wanted to keep up with her boyfriend. If i want to follow my friends who are running red lights i at minimum make sure that the road is clear to do so and don't just blindly follow and think "It'll be fine if he does it" On the other hand her Boyfriend is still stupid for even crossing the red in the first place

Highgear videaos are all fake
You say another phone cop but these people are statistically more likely to hit you than a drunk driver. Telling someone to pay attention while operating something that can injure or kill you isn't being a cop. Also the fact that the police do little to nothing to stop these people is a good reason for others to tell them to stop doing it. The "mind your own business" attitude would soon change if one of them broke your leg or killed your child because their screen is more important. Don't be a sheep. Wake tf up.

@@AngryDirtBiker Are you being for real?? What country allows you to be on your phone at a red light. I'm in Australia and if you get caught on your phone at all you will get a hefty fine.
@@hxxvoc The law doesn't back him up on this one it's just how he feels, even if there isn't a law against it it's still a sign of negligence and is used in court/ insurance claims bank. Never the less, if his opinion is that you can use your phone while operating a motor vehicle what he says dont matter.
I'm with @AngryDirtBiker on this one. If they are stopped then go ahead, but if it is moving then ya it's an issue at that point. Regardless, if you aren't a cop, mind your own business.
@@Furrykevlar They are stopped in the middle of an active roadway head angled down both hands on the phone.
Looking at your phone means you are not aware of what is happening around you.
-This means you are less likely to hear or see an emergency vehicle approaching from behind or the sides
-You are less likely to notice a car failing to stop behind you. Where you may be able to avoid it if you were aware, you are unlikely to respond as effectively if you are looking at your phone instead of your mirrors
-You are slower to respond to the light-change which slows down traffic and causes congestion
-You may react too quickly and immediately start moving when the light changes and not notice pedestrians or go when other lanes have right of way and you do not (advance green)
-You are then focused on your phone even while driving because you are planning the next text or thinking about a funny meme
"Regardless, if you aren't a cop, mind your own business" is a bad mindset and acts as an insurance policy for criminals. It doesn't matter until it happens to you.

I mean there's traffic ahead so letting the bus pass or not doesnt make a big difference, the cars behind should be alert and give safe distance. In the video we see the commentator wrote "maybe she thought he would have turned right" but i see no blinker, so i don't understand why we should go and justify the driver. If the person in front of you stops, you stop, you don't know if the person in front of you saw something that you can't see because of a blind spot or stopped because there's someone not yielding properly and when you're on a bike it doesn't matter who's right, even if you're 100% right, you're still getting hit and getting hurt

@@terryrobertson111 traffic was already stopped at a red light 50 metres ahead. I could tell you to never overtake a stopped vehicle if you don't know what they're stopping for.

In that last clip where the biker was behind the white car in the HOV lane. He cannot leagly pass the white car as they were in a no passing zone which is clearly marked by the double yellow solid line and the solid white line.
