BOAT TOUR From OLUDENIZ to BUTTERFLY VALLEY Turkey

A boat trip is one of the best way to see places that are inaccessible from the land side and at the same time it is an amazing way to spend a day at the seaside, swimming, sunbathing and snorkelling.
We chose the ATRAS boat with a very nice crew who showed us the local gems.
First stop - famous- Butterfly valley - an incredibly calm and impressive valley with high cliffs on both sides. At its end, about 20 minutes on foot, you can admire the waterfall. There is a bar here where you can drink and eat something. In close proximity there is a Blue Cave - a cave with incredibly blue water. Nice place for a short swim inside the cave.
On the other side of Oludeniz there is Camel Island - a bay where we had a delicious lunch and a beer break. After a short cruise, we got to Cold Water Bay - as the name suggests, the water here is incredibly cold and this is due to the fact that the rocks are filled with a source of ice-fresh water which, mixing with sea water, gives an amazing feeling.
The furthest place is the island of St. Nicolas. On its hill there are ruins of several churches from the turn of the 4th and 6th century. It is worth climbing to the top from where you can admire beautiful views of the entire bay. I hope this short video shows a bit of the beauty of this area and gives a substitute for what we have experienced that day.
